We love this store! Great prices on everyday grocery items. They had tons of fresh produce this week. You never know what you will find. My husband loves to grab a few 25 cent candy bars. Can’t find a better deal and the owners are the sweetest.

Great place for cheap groceries! They also have a handful of products I’ve seen at expensive stores like natural foods at discount prices. Allows me to venture out a bit and try things before deciding if they’re worth the typical price. Family-owned and nice people. I highly recommend doing some shopping here.

My family has been going to The Friday Store for over 8 years. We love the selection of dry, frozen and fresh foods. They also have discounted health products, hiyge products, food and pet supplies. For our large family its a great place for us to get most of what we need at a great price.

Holy discount, Batman!+ cheap “expired” or damaged goods+ canned goods+ drinks (coffee, tea, eggnogs, etc...)+ freezers (raw & cooked meats, bread, individual meals)+ fridges (meatballs, tamales, queso, guac, milk & eggs)+ snacks (chips, crackers)- some goods are a little stale, but that comes with the territory of buying damaged goods- a little hard to findGreat place to buy goods anywhere from 25-75% off! This was a fun place to check out. They have a few hidden gems as far as pricing and quality are concerned. Look at everything and youll find some great ones.

This place is truly amazing. The owners are incredibly kind, and the store has a wide variety of products, including dairy and fresh produce. One week they had cartons of a dozen eggs for $1!Sure, some of the items are sometimes priced higher than rock-bottom sales prices at regular grocery stores, but who cares? They have so many great buys and its such a pleasant shopping experience! I just alternate my weekly shopping trips between this store and Safeway and Im able to save a ton of money on my grocery bills.Some of my favorite purchases:white chocolate M&Ms single-serving bags at 3/$15 lbs of carrots for $23 lbs of apples for $13 lbs of greek yogurt for $2single-serve bags of oreo cookies for 25 cents

We have been coming here for years, the owner was a customer of mine and he wasnt even the one to tell me about the place. We get great deals on a lot of our canned goods, and we even find some things that we cant find at the local supermarket. Today, it was strawberry bread mix. Its from Super Salad so Im sure its wonderful!! It definitely helps to shop here to get your dry goods when you are on a budget!! Plus, they accept food stamps as well! Just let them know before he starts ringing you up, so he can make the proper adjustment on the register!! Love this place!

I am so happy I made the drive over here. I love saving where I can and decided to try this store out. Im so glad I did. It definitely is hidden away, when you turn into the lot there is a huge sign that points you to the right door. There were only a few people here when I came in on a Friday at 4. I wish I would have come earlier to really dig through the spices and sauces because there were several bins full of various spices. There are several rows of non-perishables. I came on a weekend that they had a lot of good quality yogurts and eggs as well as really good quality cat food. There is a freezer with chopped and sealed frozen veggies that I raided. The selection rotates weekly. The owners are WONDERFUL and made me feel really welcome and told me more about the history of the store. Its definitely a drive for me but its well worth it. Happy to support this store and even more happy that it exists.

This is a one of a kind store that rescues food and resells it for highly reduced prices. You can find many grocery store items here, many would be close to expiration date or damaged boxes. I give five stars because for what they do, its exactly what you should expect. This is a great resource for people on a tight budget or low income to find anything from fresh veggies, frozen meats and cheeses and anything else. Store contents vary from week to week.

This place is amazing. The couple who run it are good hearted, hard working, and have their heads in as right of a place as I can imagine . You can get most of the same products we can at a natural food store or your standard generic grocery store fare, with a significant departure in price due to a mostly imagined dating system designed to indicate the worthlessness of your food long before its time.

Martin & Jo do a fabulous job of keeping the shelves, freezers, and coolers stocked with a great selection of affordable items. The inventory changes from week to week, so it can be difficult to shop with a list here. But the prices and service are outstanding.

Jo and Martin are really good hard-working people that I feel comfortable buying from. I am really grateful for the good deals, especially on chips, snacks/bars, frozen food, dairy, condiments, jerky, soups, and cat food. Its a lot of savings, as those type of food usually cost 2-3 times more at grocery stores. It definitely makes me excited about the deals, as there are different products to look forward to every week.

They have most of the basics and some exotic items too. This is a salvage store, so check your best used by dates. I have recommended them to several of my friends who also have limited budgets.I am grateful for this resource.

Great for the bargain shopper. Yes, some items are out of date or very out of date, but some are still good. Parking is very limited. The store is in the back of a few other businesses (window tinting, ECT). Luckily they have a large white sign in the back to direct you.

Family runa store. Always fantastic deals at the store! They are friendly, and helpful, and you can pick up crazy food deals ... like a gallon can of pasta sauce for $2. We go here before we go to King Soopers or Safeway. Its cheaper and my money goes to a family run business instead of a corporate conglomerate. They have been there for over 40 years, and I want them round for another 40.

It was clean and organized. But most items were out of date. Some things were more than a year outdated. This may be fine for canned goods but a refrigerated turkey and cheese lunch was 6 months expired. Ill probably return but will be very careful with dates.

My local store similar to this is going out of business because the building they lease has been sold so I was hoping to find it as a replacement with the great reviews. I will agree that some of the prices were good, especially on beans and such. However, I was surprised to see how far past the expiration date many of these items were, like two years past. And being 2 years past expiration, I would expect lower prices.

Martin and Jo are amazing! With four teens in the house the grocery bills are ginormous. The Friday store has saved us hundreds plus they get all this boutique store foods that Id never find myself. They are not easy to find, and are certainly not for everyone, but if you get into the discount section of your grocery store youll LOVE this place.

Long time customer of Friday’s. Yeah, it’s hard to find, some prices approach Safeway’s sale prices and some foods are way out of “sell by “ date, but it’s been there for over 30 years it will save you 30 to 50% on average. If your a cheese buff, you’ll swoon! Ever week is different — sometimenew. Camembert, Jarlsberg Swiss, cheddar, fresh mozzarella — even Reggiano Parmigiano (at $6/lb—it’s about $23 at King Soopers)! The frozen meat and fish are always good. He’s even had prime graded boneless rib eye for about 75% discount from retail price. And you won’t find more friendly service than given by Martin, Jo and Peter, the owners.I am always amazed at the downright stupidity of some folks. Someone signed as C.R. (Maybe he was too shy to use his full name) claimed FRIDAY’S should be ashamed to be selling food bank food for a profit. What a crock! So much goes to waste in this country it could feed a third of Africa if we could get it there. And unbelievably, a couple of hockey pucks identified as Shane Carman and Alan Shrefler gave this store 1 star—but stated in their posts that they had never been there! Some folks have a shallow gene pool!

Basically a discount store that sells merchandise which has outlived its expiration date, on the philosophy that the expiration date is just a number.Prices are reasonable, never had a problem with management.

Great deals on less-than-perfect produce. Last time we got broccoli for 50 cents a head, and on our first visit there were baby portobello mushrooms for $1/lb. The selection varies, but so far there has been a steady supply of fresh Belgoioso mozzarella for a few dollars per package (instead of $7-8 each). Excellent prices on dried pasta, rice, and dried beans. Standard items like canned veggies, cereal, ketchup, salad dressings, etc. at half the normal price or better. They even had frozen tilapia at a very low price, as long as you dont mind it being farmed in China. This isnt Whole Foods, obviously, but for a family on a budget is an excellent resource. Just remember theyre only open during normal business hours on Fridays and Saturdays.

One word. Gross! Food outdated 2-4 years or more. The smell of this store is awful. $4 for a 12 pack of coke?!? $1.50 for little Debbies?!? Spend the extra quarter to buy things that were made this year at a regular store, not in 2011. And the jewelry is outrageously priced.This store is called the Friday store, it is only open on Friday and Saturday.
