First, it is handicap accessible and has handicap parking. The store was extremely clean, extremely organized, and the staff was very friendly. My boyfriend and I took in three coins to sell, which they ended up buying from us and it was over the amount that silver is going for currently. The only complaint we had was that instead of doing an amount that ended in $x5.00 the employee gave him $x2.00. When we asked if they could just round in up to $x5.00, the employee said he couldnt. Besides that, it was a pleasant experience. I do not recommend taking small children in there solely because of the all the comics are just in nicely labeled boxes throughout the store. I do recommend anyone and everyone who is looking to sell coins to visit this location.

This is the best coin store in the area. You have to travel pretty far to find one that treats people fairly and has reasonable prices. Its a shame that they are going out of business. Their inventory definitely suffers these days because of that. Its still worthwhile to check in and see what theyve got every now and then.

Extremely helpful with great customer service, I took my father n law and they even gave him a coin that he was looking for free with his other purchases. Not to mention going out of there way answering all of our questions. Will be back often.

I have a ton of great memories with this store. Started going there 2006 ish and have never had a bad experience. The owners (especially the wife) have always been kind and helpful. Thank you for the great memories and great service.

People here were friendly and professional. I will go back if I ever have a need or questions about fine and rare coins. They also have a giant selection of old comic books in great condition. This place is full of History and the staff is very knowledgeable.

Wow! Ive never seen such a large collection!!!

It seems like perhaps it started as a small coin shop, maybe a stamp shop, and then expanded to include comics and sports cards, not necessarily in that order. There’s an atmosphere of serious collecting, none of that kid stuff. It’s easy to imagine some grown-up of a previous generation making the tough call about whether or not they can afford that collector’s coin that they’ve wanted for years. Indeed, one customer wrote on Facebook about his dad bringing him here to look at coins when he was a child. This is a place with some history.What about the comics? Well, I found unexpected treasures as I leafed through the large collection of back-issue long boxes. There’s a good representation of new comics, too, and there are plenty of older collector’s comics hung from the ceiling all over the shop. That’s a bit odd, but there are not really other options for displaying them.The stock is well-organized, everything is bagged and annotated. From my limited knowledge, it seemed as though the back issues were accurately graded and fairly priced.The store is rather crowded and a bit dark. This also reminds me of old coin shops, which sometimes had few windows for better security. I’ve read online complaints about rude staff, but I was greeted warmly. There seem to be several staff people, each specializing in different areas – one person for comics, another for coins, and so on.There are coins and there are cards. There’s a lot of sports memorabilia to go with your comics, if that interests you. That’s not for me, but I was taken by a group of statuettes that seemed based on Norman Rockwell paintings. They offered a glimpse into the life of a vanished generation. As I wrote above, this is a place with some history.

My initial experience was so good and the prices were the lowest Ive ever seen, that I wrote here intentionally to recommend others. This will now become my new To-Go store

This is a pretty cool spot. Lots of back issue comics which is exactly what Im in the market for but I did notice they had a nice collection of new comic books as well as a full shelf of graphic novels. I was able to find a fair amount of what I was looking for and didnt leave feeling like I had overpaid. Very friendly staff that was very helpful when I had a couple questions.

I remember when this place was my go-to for updating my decks for MTG, YGO and Pokémon -- they had a wide assortment of packs and loose cards sold a la carte if you were after something specific.Now? They ought to change the name to Comics, Comics & Comics -- the floors almost wall-to-wall boxes of comic books, mainly Marvel and DC, arranged under dingy lighting that makes the comic shop from The Simpsons look inviting. Of course, its only open two days a week, so good luck even getting through the door.How this place stays in business is a complete mystery to me. I dont expect Ill ever set foot in there again.

When I lived in Colorado I frequently took my coins to this store on a regular basis. The gentleman that assisted me was always informative & fair. He would explain what & why he wasoffering the prices he was offering when I was looking to sell or even just interested in finding out the value of a coin.I now live in Kansas & even though Im 350 miles (4 hours) away I would still choose to contact him before anyone else.

First time in store gave me some good free advice and great deal on Silver.

The guy who runs the place is a rude! Went in one day to buy some coins and couldnt get any help. I was invisible to him. Came back twice the place was closed. Went the third time sign says closing at 5 due to no customers so I waved some money at him he came opened the door and very rudely said what do you want I told him nothing no wonder you dont have any customers. Total a hole.I will never shop there.

We saw this shop driving up Wadsworth and had to turn around! Everyone who worked there were so friendly and great with our kiddos. They also had a great collection of coins. And they gave my husband a great deal!

I waited for a number of minutes while being ignored by the owner. I asked him a question about an 8 reales silver coin and it’s value. His response was to ask me where I went to high school.. confused by the irrelevance to this question, I told him... he then said “good, you can read”. And had a woman who clearly doesn’t respect him put a book about coins in front of me. When I made it clear that I was talking about an extremely rare silver coin that was worth more than anything he has in his shop, and I obviously knew more about them then he did, his greed took over and he started acting professional in a fake sort of way.I think treating every customer with respect from the beginning would be a good place to start as a business owner.

Ive been coming here since I was in high school (so 17 years now), and Ive always had the best experiences here. Now with kids of my own, I bring them here and we always have such a great time. The staff are all so friendly and helpful, and they treat my girls so kindly.

Old school business model where you can immediately feel comfortable and appreciated. Places like this are increasingly more difficult to find. Bring your kids and show them how it feels to shop at a mom and pop local business. Great folks.

So we went here to just check it out and see what they had. We walked in and 3 employees were there. No one offered to help us, no one greeted us. Then we asked for some prices on some coins and the girl at the counter had no idea and did not bothered to find out. We were looking at some other coins and and no one seemed interested in helping us. I felt like we were being judged on our appearance. They talked to another customer asking him all kinds of questions and he was just wandering around the store. We would have bought some coins from there if they had better customer service. Little did they know I wanted to spend $$$$ because I have a lot of it. Just because I look like Im not wealthy does not mean anything. I own 2 successful businesses and working on my 3rd venture. Dont judge a book by its cover.

Very nice people! We were in a group from out of town and everyone was very nice and friendly. They were running a special where if you spent $25 or more you got to roll the dice to win a verity of prizes, and when we got to the register not only did I get to roll the dice for spending the amount, but they let all four of us attempt to win something! Walked out with a comic I was hunting for, and a free comic. Awesome place.

This place is great for everything in the title. Im primarily a comic collector though, so thats what I have paid the most attention to. They have a huge selection of back issues and almost all books are half off. (Anything without a green price tag) they have a good section of dollar books too in the back, so take your time looking around. The books are all alpha-sorted regardless of publisher so its easy to find the titles youre interested in. Great owner/staff and a great shop.

This place is a really good store to pick up supplies such as perfect fits in and deck boxes as well as card storage. Unfortunately it is not the best place to buy cards and the prices are a little high compared to other places. I still love this place.

This is a review is much needed as I have purchased coins weekly and Im unsatisfied with this store not checking proper weight of silver bullion.I have purchased a few silver rounds that turned out to be plated .This is the 3rd time this year.Buyer beware.

Paid them a visit to buy Gold.Older guy/owner No ambition to sell anything.Brings out an old tackle box full of gold coins from the safe over 30k worth and sets it on counter for me to look through cant believe they have that amount in stock and zero security with old prehistoric security recording not a safe environment to carry that amount in stock.

My son and I were there today for quite a few hours and we had a great time looking, talking and learning about coins and money. Great people who are extremely nice and knowledgeable. Thank you!

Nice people run this place, and they have an amazing selection of comics and money (coins & bills). I dont go for the cards, so I cant offer any advice on their stock. If its anything like their other inventory, it should be great.

Coin inventory is a little light but acceptable. My big frustration is the vulgar language the older guys (Im assuming owners, long time employees) use with each other. Every few minutes I heard an f-bomb, also think there were some crude jokes in there. That would be a 3 star rating. Im doing 2 stars because I came here just to look at trade dollars - the few they have are in a safe. When I asked someone to see them, he let the owner know and the owner took a look at me and said theyre expensive. I mentioned I was looking at spending $500 if its the right coin for me. Im a stockbroker but since today is Saturday, Im in shorts and a backwards hat. He never brought them out for me to see. Thanks for judging me and assuming I cant afford anything like that. I bought 2 coins that caught my eye. I will not come here again. Kind of like a Julie Roberts moment in pretty woman happened here.

This is my favorite place in all of colorado. I usually only go to buy comics, Andrew is really cool and helpful with my comics and all the staff are really nice. I one time went in to get my friend into magic the gathering and needed help relearning the game myself and teaching him, and the guy that worked with the cards basically taught us the whole game.

Went in ready to spend a decent amount on some MTG cards, but of the 3-4 employees sitting around just pricing stuff, none of them offered me any assistance, so I just left. Ill spend my money at Atomic Games instead. The owner there will at least give you the time of day.

Truly the best comic book shop in the Denver-Metro Area. The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful, and the back issue selection is amazing. Andrew, the head of the comic book department, is a stand-out when it comes to service, and had helped me build my collection by making suggestions about books to buy, and ordering books that Im missing. I have a hold slot for comics here, and the books that I order are always on time, and in great shape. Highly recommended!

Colorado coins and comics, they were very accomadating. I was looking for cardboard sleeves and they had a box of 100 . They made exceptions and asked how many did I need.Pleasant visit for for sure.

I have been going to this shop since I was eight I went through Pokemon Yu-Gi-Oh hero clix with them over the years always helpful and joking with me. Ignore the fact that they saw me almost daily .. seriously the people are great and really paitent and helpful I cant wait to go back in a few days because I just started magic the gathering and Im excited to see what they got in store for me on this next adventure maybe theyll even recognize me ??

In very modest surroundings, this store is amazing. Huge selection of back issues, well organized and thorough collection of new comics and they give a discount on graphic novels.

CCC used to be a bustling place when it came to MTG and other card games. Since they have had a swap in the trading card employees it seems to have gone downhill drastically... they hardly ever have anything you are looking for and when you need help they can hardy be bothered.

Staff were friendly and helpful and it was very easy to find what I was looking for.

I visited this store with my two boys, 6 and 8yo, after having a horrible experience at Hero Headquarters just down the road. Vacation the area from California last spring, we visited at least half a dozen comic shops, and this was HANDS DOWN the best shop of them all.When I walked in I felt the feeling that I had as a child when I would go to comic and collectible stores in the late 80s and early 90s. This feeling and atmosphere is extremely rare these days. There collectibles were massive, and they had great sports cards for good prices, but this visit, we were focused on comic books. There back order comic bins were ENDLESS. All of their books were marked at very fair prices, but they also had some kind of color coded discount system, so book that were labeled $3 or $4 dollars ended up being around half price.The staff was really down to earth, they even let my kids use the bathroom, which again, is rare in many modern day comic shops. We spend probably an hour in there, and I ended up spending almost $100 on me and my kids.Again, this shops holds the qualities and experience of the golden age of collectibles and comics, as if it stood still in time. In a world of Targets and Walmarts and online over priced ebay comic sites, TBL offers more than just great comics and collectibles for amazing prices... they offer A WAY OF LIFE.
