This is a great laid back place. They have a welcoming and relaxing atmosphere and it is way more comfortable than a Starbucks. The bottomless coffee and tea they serve is wonderful when I go there to get work done.

Imagine a Starbucks but with a great personality and much better coffee. You just imagined 5340. The service was friendly and fast, the straight black coffee actually tasted great, and the atmosphere is warm and inviting. Definitely coming back with friends and co-workers!

Great little place! I always love little mom-and-pop type shops and this little coffee house has such a unique and eclectic feel to it. I really enjoyed my first time there. The only reason I cant give it 5 stars is because I stood in line waiting to order while the cashier carried on a lengthy personal conversation with someone at the counter and there were 4 people in line waiting to order. It would have been nice if they could coach their staff to keep their personal conversations brief while they have a line. Otherwise I really love this little coffee place.

Best coffee in town IF they have it and IF they are opened. Ive been in two times in a week and a half (in the mid morning timeframe) and no dark roast was brewed. Went across to Starbucks both times instead. I prefer to give you the business but cant. Also, please open on Sundays!

Good coffee, fun comfortable atmosphere. They have games to play and lots of seats. Prices on their drinks are also reasonable. I prefer going here over starbucks.

Tried this place today for the first time and was not disappointed. Probably the best chai tea latte Ive had in a long time. Also the lady who helped me was very friendly. Ill definitely be back to try the coffee!

Customer service always friendly, great place for locals but no one is a stranger. Comfy chairs or table seating. Love the coffee and tea beverages and they let you bring in your own food.

5340 is a great place to sit back and relax, enjoy their great coffee selection or delicious pastries or burritos, or meet with a friend or group. They also have a small semi-private area for meetings or training. Highly recommend!

Best mocha I think Ive ever had. Prices are a little steep. Nice artwork on the walls and they have a game closet you can raid.

My FAVORITE coffee shop!! I love getting a hot blackberry chai and the pumpkin-chocolate chunk bread... Theyre a perfect treat!! I also like that its a small indie coffee shop super-close to my office.

It is a pleasure every time I visit 5340 Coffee and Events! This independent coffee house is great if you want to hang out and chill or if you just stop in for a delicious drink to go. If you are looking for an international chain, employees who dont care about your order, and ridiculously over roasted coffee, this is not the place for you. However, if you are interested in friendly, individual service, and carefully handcrafted drinks this is the place for you!

This place is amazing. Have a meeting or want to work on homework in piece? Drop in or reserve the community room. The coffee/tea and food here is always great and everyone is really respectful. 10/10 would recommend over starbs.

I love this place! Me and my boys love coming in. My children love their cream slush drinks with boba. Unfortunately we make it in only a couple times a year since they close so early. It would be nice to see the hours extended a bit so we can make it in for after school treats.

Such a great place. It is my go to for lattees and my newly discovered love of lavender milk tea with boba. Really wonderful, I am constantly craving it. Quiet lovely place to study, there can at sometimes be limited seating but they have sweet little cards on the table that occupants can display they are willing to share the table. The only thing I would be hopeful of is a larger variety of pastries, and more breakfast burritos (because they are delicious).The wait is never long and the staff is always very kind. Thank you for being here, you have gotten me going many a morning.

Wanted to support a local shop when we ran out of coffee beans at home. So I went here instead of Starbucks right next door. At 6 am-ish, with a grand total of 2 customers (myself included) in the shop, the barista could not have seemed more annoyed by my questions about the coffee. the shelf has a couple of labels I dont see coffee for. Do you have anymore or am I missing something? Id like to get organic but cant find any (though labels suggest its there). Help please?So I wind up buying regular roast- not the end of the world. Get home the beans are super dry, the coffee weak and generally unpleasant. Go through the whole pound of that over the next week or so. With every sip I wondered how mom and pops can hope to survive against big bad Starbucks if they cant manage good service OR a good product.

We needed an emergency shelter for fire victims and 5340 stepped up to help. The proprieter and staff stayed long after closing to help those in need. These folks deserve the thanks of their community.

Great coffee and customer service. The layout is friendly and cozy with comfortable chairs and lots of books and games to play as well.

Its really cozy since there are couches, board games, and everything is served in glass coffee cups and plates instead of the usual paper or plastic cups.

Seemed okay. Nice storefront, simple interior. Standard prices. Came in at 2:40pm amd theu close at 4pm. Lemon cake was SOOO dry and old. Coffee was an Americano, which i screwed up when i ordered. It was decent, but dat lemon cake though tasted a few days old...

Iced coffee was not good. Was poured from a pitcher in the fridge. Cashier was rude. Seating was nice, bring your own coffee.

A hidden jewel in Arvada! This coffee shop has great coffee and tea and is very quaint. I was at my sons basketball game in Arvada and needed to get on the internet to do a little work between games and found this coffee shop. Love it!
