I love shopping here. I like to shop at independent grocery stores. They have regular sales that make it worth shopping here. There meats are really good. Product isnt bad either. My only wish is that the cashiers mostly the young ones would say thank you. We have many choices & have a nice day is not the same as thank you for shopping with us.

Great Neighborhood store. Been going here for about a Year. Stocked and friendly staff. The Self checkout service is always helpful when needed. Affordable prices and they have a Green Valley card if You need it.

Good store to find most of the groceries youre looking for. It can be a bit pricey but if it saves you a trip elsewhere, thats worth the trip. Id have to say the employees quality of work life seems obvious. They dont seem to want to be there.

This place is the perfect cross between Safeway and trader Joes. The staff is awesome, they make great food. The prices are right. You cant go wrong shopping here. See you there.

I always have a great experience when I shop here! Store is always clean, employees are amazing especially Thea Bittner. She is an amazing customer service representative. I always get a warm smile & greeting from her when I walk in and from All the other early morning employees as well. ( I go at 7am ). My health isnt great and I need a certain frozen icy for my stomach and Donald, the frozen food manager, always makes sure the product is always in the store for me. They go above and beyond and treat everyone like they would their own family.

It would be nice to know our local stores care enough about their customers health that they would at minimum provide hand sanitizer and wipes at the checkouts. Apparently management is under the impression the pandemic is over. You never see anyone wiping down carts or self check. How about do the right thing and spend a few bucks and provided just the basic sanitizer to your customers?

Great little neighborhood grocery store. Thats what you think when you first go there but after your first visit you realize they have a little bit of everything...and more. I love running in here when I visit on the Western shore!!!

I love coming to this grocery store. Not only is it close to home I have yet to be disappointed when shopping. They carry Jarritos Mexican soda which was a pleasant surprise. The fresh produce is always well stocked when I come in rushing around looking for the one item I have forgotten.

Wow wow wow the prices are amazing at the store! This little convenience store has everything that I need for my family when I need to get something quick an affordable. I moved to the area not too long ago and when I dont have time to drive to any other Supermarket this one is literally not even a mile down the road. Well stocked for a small Market. Found items that I couldnt find in the big chain supermarkets. Deli selections were very tempting. It was crowded and busy but lots of registers open and checkout went quickly.

Love green valley grocery store. The only drawback is that they require a face mask in order to shop in store. It has been proven that these masks do nothing to prevent any virus from entering your respiratory system. I believe that management are forced to comply with these mandates that actually harm the public by breathing in our own carbon dioxide. What will come next in order to shop at green valley? I can predict that we will be required to show proof of vaccination sometime in the future. I believe that we are giving up our freedoms for so called safety. Do your own research and stop relinquishing your freedom just because the media tells you what to do.This is my opinion.

I love this grocery store! Its the best one weve had there. I specifically love the personable treatment I get from Mr. Doug and crew in the seafood department. I think I order steamed crabs every weekend and they definitely recognize my voice when I call. They already know what Im about to order and they make sure it is satisfactory every time. Everything is always well stocked and prices are fair. Its nice when I get greeted there. Makes me feel very welcome.

Recently moved from PG county and what a difference from supermarkets over there! Great selection of everything including fresh deli meats, pre-made meals, grilling needs, and even donuts that are better than coffee shops.

Carries a lot of organic products. Great, fresh-caught seafood. Polite /courteous staff. Always clean facility.

Pretty good grocery store for being such a small chain (only 2 stores in the central Maryland area, I believe). Very good prepared meals that take minimal effort to cook at home. And, they even had Clorox today. Whoop!

Great store. Would have given 5 stars if would put HU chocolate bars on sale!!! You kinda owe me; I had groceries delivered and you sent instant oats instead of Old Fashioned like I requested, so I gave them to my neighbor.

The closest grocery store to me. Its usually very busy. They do have everything you need in a pinch. Definitely dont go on Sunday thats a very busy day. Some things are a little pricey but they do have a lot of organic food. Seems like a clean place.

Always in stock items. The produce is top notch. The floors and well kept and cared for. I liked how friendly the staff was. I gave 4 out of 5 stars only because the bathroom was not as clean as it should be.

Wonderful place to shop. They feature many items you can take home, heat and eat that are freshly prepared, not frozen. They have much to offer.

They are a quaint store thats actually quite big. They have a great supply of healthy foods too! We have recently started trying to eat vegan and I always find everything I need here for whatever recipe we are trying. Lots of vegan frozen meals that are easy to find and quite the health selection with sugar scrubs and essential oils.

Great supermarket for quick stops. Green Valley is children friendly, and I have never had a problem finding what I need to get here. The store is neat and well organized. The employees and friendly and helpful. The prices could be a little better, however I would recommend this place to others.

Produce quality and price is great, meat and fish very good. Deli products and price s are excellent. Bakery is super, and there are more brioche choices than I have ever seen!!

This particular location is amazing. I came in on my sons birthday on a break from work, I work on a school bus and it was between schools while still on the bus. I realized after going in that I had a total of $8 cash because I had forgotten my wallet in my car. I went to the deli area to ask if they could split the small crab pretzel up fromcteonto one so I could get a single one for my son for his birthday and I didnt have the cash for the double. He said sure and I headed to do something else while I waited for him to make me a single small crab pretzel. When I came back he had a big crab pretzel and a small single pretzel set out with the barcodes marked so i could have them for my son and my sons lunch table at school. It left me with money to pick out a card for my son. Its a little out of the way for me from my house but I still make the trip there because the employees are so wonderful.

This is one of the best places to get my weekly food supplies. True some of the specific products I look for are hard to find, but the staff here are always more than happy to hunt the whole store to help me find something. Its convenient and friendly, just a stones throw from many communities in the area. 5 stars all the way!

I always find the store clean, and most stock neat on shelves. Staff is friendly and helpful. If they cant answer your question they try and find someone who can. They dont send you on a wild goose chase, or just say we dont have it. Best part is, every isle has a product list so you can find what you want without having to find an employee. Have really missed that feature in other stores.

Great local grocery store... they have a pretty good assortment of pre-made meals... you can get everything from chicken potpie, orange chicken w/ fried rice, pretzel with crab, ribs, mac & cheese, etc. Seafood salad = delicious😋

Do you like a grocery store that makes great food, and everyone gets the discounts they provide instead of special club members, then this place is for you! Never had a single issue at the store aside from the small isles. They also have a build your own k cup isle with local distributors there as well! Every weekend or so, they would have an outsider BBQ!Go there and you will be impressed!

I usually really enjoy the Seafood Salad their Deli has, but I came in expecting it to be fresh, and it just tasted like sour mayonnaise. When its made fresh its much sweeter than it was. I asked for a pound, and got a bit over which was fine because I enjoy it, but I didnt enjoy how it tasted. Please consider updating how often you rotate the food. Just because it looks okay, doesnt mean it is.

I live in DC. My daughter is a college student, who lives near Green Valley in Arnold.I save my shopping until I am up in Arnold in order to go to Green Valley. Excellent prices, wonderful selections, and courteous and competent employees. Last week near the seafood counter, a very helpful employee behind the counter came forward to recommend pre-packaged and oven-or-microwave-ready enveloped meals to me. I took a salmon meal home and cooked it in its envelope, per the instructions. DELICIOUS!!! Today I returned and picked up two more meals.This is a truly wonderful store, with things you dont find in other grocery stores. They support local food growers and coffee bean roasters. I cannot say enough about the enthusiasm I have for this store--civic-minded, consumer-oriented, and green. Bravo!

For many years we had sub-par grocery options in this shopping center. Its been about a year since Green Valley moved in and I have to say they are getting better every day. This weekend we were in a bit of a bind trying to get some crabs for a family get together with a lot of stores either out of crabs or charging extra-ordinary prices. My wife suggested calling Green Valley, with in 45 minutes I was heading home with 5 dozen fresh, steamed crabs that our family enjoyed. Couldnt ask for a better grocery store so close to home!

A little pricey bit worth it for convenience.

Hands down, beats Safeway or Giant any day. Love this store. Frirndly staff and the Prices are very competitive and weekly sales help with costs.

Love this place. Clean with a good range of groceries and fresh seafood. People are fantastic and it gives off an amazing local feel. 4 stars only because not keen on the fruit section.

I really like the store but I wish they sold lamb. And back when they opened they had a hot breakfast bar in the morning starting at 6 a.m. and they shut it down I miss that as well.

We usually stop here for lunch during the week. The hot food bar always had a great selection of choices, the salad bar is always fresh, and the prices on groceries are decent.

I walked into the Store at 530 pm on a Wednesday. The Store smelled of bad fish. I walked directly to the deli to get a rotisserie chicken. There was one left and you could tell it had been there a while. I asked when a fresh batch would be ready, the two deli workers behind the counter never looked up, just responded with there isnt any in right now so and continued with what they were doing. I left with nothing and drove 2 miles to the Safeway where I found 11 chickens and an employee bringing out some more fresh with different seasonings on them. Thats where I will go from now on

Unfortunately they didnt have what I wanted. I do understand.
