Normally good but this time I was not able to locate what I wanted

Its not very offen Ill go into any harbor freight and not get what Im needing OR what Im wanting. But the people are the difference! This location has good people. Thats has merit with me. Got items I went for and I was not escorted to the door for my crazy antics! If you dont have humor at work, your just not needing to be there. Easy as that. Picked up 2 folding chairs for my RV and few other items.

Bought Bauer battery chainsaw. Plug in, say full charged. 2 hr,s cutting, on 1 battery, swapped out to finish up. 5.7# I liked this did a great job. More to cut,just tired.

I usually have good experiences with this store, but I recently purchased a scroll saw, and when I got it home and opened it, it was USED! It had already been unpacked and assembled, was covered in saw dust, the knobs were worn, etc. It was still in good shape, but the fact remains that I paid full price for an item that was supposed to be new, but was not! Why that item was put back on the shelf as new is beyond me!

In the same way the Dollar Store outfits your party, this store can help you keep your DIY project affordable (much cheaper than Home Depot.) Some things are great quality, other stuff will just be good enough for a project or two. I found the staff at this location very helpful.

This is a good store for the non professionals who need good tools at a great price point for work around the house.

Tools can sometimes be low quality, but people are nice, and if you shop smart you can get some good deals.

I had an excellent experience at this harbor freight location. The manager Joe went above and beyond with his customer service. I didnt even have to ask for help. He made a point to to go out of his way to help me. He got the item I needed from the back, brought it to the register for me. After I completed my transaction, he brought the item outside for me and helped me load it in the bed of my truck. This was the best experience I have had at any harbor freight. It is further than my usual store. I only came here because they had the item I was looking for in stock. The arlington store will be my usual from now on. If anyone from this store is reading this, lets get Joe a raise. He deserves it.

Lots of interesting tools and equipment st fairly nice prices. I usually know what im.getting when I go and sometimes when I wander Im the store aimlessly I find things I didnt know I needed. Sometimes I buy and sometimes I add the new things to the parts list in my head. 😉

My favorite tools store. I shop all my tools, machinery. Gardening stuff and a lot more from here. The prices are much cheaper than Home Depot, Lowes, Nothern tools and the like stores. They have many convenient locations in Dallas. If your phone no. Or email address is registered with them, you always get coupons and sales alerts. They mail out lot of coupons for discounts and FREE stuff.

Been buying tools there for years never had any problem with them the only downside is now all there cordless power tools are sold all parts battery charger separately to get more money out of you

Spent time shopping and picked out an expensive storage cart. The employees told me it was in stock but they’re unloading a truck just come back tomorrow. I get better service at Walmart even. Poor service!

I had to do a return. The lady (so sorry I didnt get her name) working the register was nice and handled the transaction great. They even send a copy of the return to your email. Perfect!

I’m amazed aHarbor Freight is still in business & ANY good reviews. NO customer service & when we finally got a man to help he said they didn’t have any left & couldn’t buy the display & walked off. I was mid-sentence trying to ask a question & he was gone like a shot! JUST WOW! We went to Northern Tool & was pleasantly surprised to be greeted & offered help without even asking! He actually asked if we needed any other assistance! The prices were just as good, better quality item, store clean & nicely laid out. Will never walk in Harbor Freight again & Northern Tool has our business! Great job Northern Tool!

So I’m newer to the Harbor Freight stores but have been in and yes for little items they are decent. But when they have these 20% off sales I’ve noticed they never have any big items in stock. I’m at the Arlington Tx location on the first day of there “Spring break sale”. I drive a good bit to buy a 46” tool box. Great deal at 349.99 . Mind you it’s the first day. I go in and they have 0 in stock on all colors. Look at the next model down and step up and 0 In stock all colors. In fact all big ticket items that are great deals. Yep, 0 in stock. So I’m told yea you can presale it. Takes 5-6 weeks . Lmao think they know not many gonna wait 5-6 weeks. Told it’s cuz some membership club, you have to pay for gets first crack.o mean how many are available? 1 of each color ? Literally ever big ticket item every color gone on the first day of a HUGE sale. Seem pretty shady. I was about to buy several 100 in little ticket items that are no where near the deals of these big ticket ones. But these aren’t what I came in for so I was so angry I just left. Not gonna shop at a place that seems like it’s a bait and switch scam. Every time.

Harbor freight is a great place for a lot of great items at affordable prices. Many technical tools for small scale jobs.

Few staff members were very smug and rude...seem like they were having a bad day and taking it out on us.. all I asked was if they had anymore more small portable vacuums in the back and the guy didnt even bother to go check for us and had a rude attitude...will be going somewhere else for sure.

Unhelpful staff.6/16/21- I asked two different employees where the pipe wrenches were located. Both were dismissive, just waved their hands in a general direction and basically said “over there”. After 30 mins of wandering around checking every aisle, I put down the rest of my items and walked out. I’ll stock my workshop with another store I guess.

Good pricing, only downside is that most things are sold in packs. Needed 4in diagonal cutters but only had it in packs with other tools. Other than that very good store.

Needs work on computer systems. I call to see if a certain tool is in stock and on several occasions they tell that they do have it available but when I go to pick it up, they cant find it and I end up having to order it anyway.

Standard HF, place was clean not alot of staff to help but I found what I needed.

Great tools for the price. If you need a tool fast for a fair price its the place to go. I have a few tools from here that have outlasted my Snap-on and Matco tools. I have also put a buffer from here through alot of abuse and after 5yr of daily use is still going strong.

Went here for bolt cutters. They had a selection of about 6 different sizes. Only 3 in stock. Not the size I needed. This was during Covid-19 so I cant fault them.

I forgot how low priced everything is here. I bought a drill (5 years ago) for $17! It was nothing fancy, I just needed to mount a TV, but it still works great! This last trip, I bought a giant tarp for $54, and a magnifying headset with lights for $4. On another note, waiting in line is never fun, but Im glad they were taking precautions against cv by limiting the amount of people in the store at one time.

Stores are roughly the same layout and merchandise. Prices are often lower than for similar items with brand names. Coupons and advertised specials make HF a good alternative.They dont carry as wide a variety of items as big box stores. Once you know what they do stock you may prefer their version to others.
