I absolutely love this store! Every time I shop here, I find the cutest things and for a decent price. The employees are always very kind and helpful and just overall this store is great :)

Most unfriendly staff you could ever imagine. They act very miserable to work there, I feel sorry for them. Any time they say “welcome in” sounds like it hurt to say it lol! Makes me not want to be there. But they do buy a lot of my clothes, I just won’t spend a lot of time to shop there. I’m there to sell and that’s it.

Selection here is always changing, so its better some days than others. They buy things as well. They sometimes pay reasonable prices but I brought a big box of some popular and pretty high end brands, almost new.. I laughed all the way out the door when the told me the offer. Place is named Cheapskate! Lol! (I ended up giving away most of that box to people who could use them)

I brought a basket of clothes here a few months ago that I wanted to sell and I was told that they were unable to buy any of my items because they were out of style. So I didnt think much of it, but I came here yesterday just to shop around and I literally found my jeans that I tried to sell them. I know for a fact, 110%, that these were my jeans because of the size, color, brand, and two unique rips that I made in them before I was trying to get rid of them. I told the manager about it and she claimed that it may have been a mistake or that someone else may have brought them in to sell. That was definitely a lie, but I didnt wanna argue. So long story short, if youre trying to sell clothes here, make sure to count the amount of items you bring in and watch whoever is looking through your items. I hope this company enjoys the $15 that theyre making off of the jeans that they stole from me :)

Not a very big selection for Men, the layout was...odd... why was everything just with alike colors?? Sweaters, dress shirts, and t-shirts can all be found in one section which was weird. I would go back if I had nowhere else to get clothes from. Also a lot of stuff they had listed as XL fit a lot smaller like it was dried one too many times. Very inconvenient.

Friendly employees, good prices. They also donate your clothes that they dont accept if you want them to, which is very nice.

They had a wide selection of products most of which were great prices and quality especially due to the sale. However there was not a wide selection of many sizes and some clothing had alot of damage or were visibly dirty.Edit after reply from business: dirty merchandise second hand or not is UNACCEPTABLE in covid America

Standing in line is great and all, but after the customer that was infront of me and a line forming behind me. Its not ok to check out that customer and leave me Standing there with no communication after 5 minutes Standing at the cashier and no one helping but it was ok to be ignored. If only I could of checked my own self out.

Cute clothes. Rude staff. The swiftness depends on the attitude of the teenager you get. Doesn’t accept Apple Pay. Light skinned girl was the only helpful one there and she was too sweet for me to verbally complain

Now I remember why I stopped bringing clothes and shoes here to sell. They never take your items. New or a few years old. Some of the clothes that they are trying to sell, should have never been bought. Everything I took them was name brand. Ill just stick to Facebook market place and having garage sales. Its easier. I hadnt been there in a years and now I know why. I guess if they know you, they buy your items. Smh. Fashion is very broad and apparently some are still learning.

Such an amazing store to go to! the staff are wonderful and kind every time i’ve went. there’s so many pieces of clothing to choose from and it’s so neatly organized by item, color, and size which makes it so easy to shop at. definitely recommend!

I’m normally very pleased with the friendliness and welcoming of the staff but today was different. One out of all one girl was very kind , didn’t catch her name but she’s a pretty , light skin’d girl with curly hair. I was offered 2 dollars for each of my items , when I proceeded to going to a different store was offered triple. I will no longer be shopping here.

Im guessing whatever teenager is working that day,and base off her PERSONAL style is what items they accept. I basically had brand new items from PYTs website that I had accidentally bought two of ,and she told me she didnt accept them because of the style. So basically your telling me,one of the most famous shopping sites ,is selling out dated clothes/styles? Yea ok.....

Great experience. I spent about an hour and a half in here with my daughter and niece. The staff was attentive and polite. They were patient with the questions we had. Great selection of clothes, shoes, purses, etc. We bought a little bit of everything. Kendra Scott jewelry and Doc Martens were by far the best purchase with great prices.

My daughter turned me on to this place , we originally took clothes to Platos. Unfortunately UC just doesn’t give good return for nice clothing had brand new Levi’s & some Polo Ralph Lauren items from my son and they offered $20 just ridiculous!! Last time here..

Super friendly staff! Good prices on most things. Lots of name brands, some things are new with tags but on the pricer side for preowned clothing especially the sweaters which were super nice though.

Had such a great experience. All the workers were so nice and sweet. They helped me with all my questions and I had multiple workers come up to me asking if everything was good or telling me about their offers. I found so many clothes from stores like forever 21, American Eagle, express and many more for about $10 each. I seriously love this place! ❤️

Ive been standing at the sell counter for about 10minutes now. 3 sales associates walked in my direction and turned around. Not one acknowledging my presence. I usually purchase from here, not sell...so with this being my first experience....I will probably sell somewhere else. Someone else actually walked up to pick up things that didnt sell..the associate literally looked dead at me and walked away. I tried calling to her to ask if they were still buying for the day. She didnt turn around. After another 5mins another associate finally asked me if I was selling today. I told her yes and she told me to just go to the other. There the same associate who ignored me multiple times decided to be friendly and go through the clothes. This was a pretty dissapointing experience for me and it was very unexpected since this never happens when Im just buying things here

This place has a small area for men, but a huge space for women. Tons of very nice clothes at discounted prices. For the guys, the sales ladies are all gorgeous! Something to look at even if you dont buy anything.

My wife had to drag me in here was like pulling g teeth for me to go in a used clothing store. But keeping an open mind telling my self surely they would only sale nice name brand clothing. WRONG I was seeing the same stuff at Walmart and the price were really high for used clothing. Even the clothing that was higher end I would go buy it new for maybe 15-25 $ more. So point of my store i mean if you really want someone else used pants feel free but its not worth the savings for me.

The cashier was just a doll. The atmosphere was just a nice vibe. The every piece of clothing and everything else in the store was beautiful and cool. They are okay. Young people with young clothes. I thought this was a store for 18 years old to the older generation. They sell men and woman clothing. This is for the younger generation. I did a turn around at the door, after looking at the first rack of clothes. Then I kind of glanced at the other clothing racks. Good Luck..

I love this place. He girls who work here are always super sweet and helpful. The quality of the items they sell are amazing. Where else can you get 4 pairs of Nike shorts and 5 sports tops for 78 bucks!!?? With tax! Uhg. Love it. I recommend it to all my friends all the time

My favorite place to pick up pieces for the entire family. Love love the returns for my growing boy when he grows out I return for store credit. Start all over again.

This was actually my very first time shopping at a thrift store I was with a few friends who wanted to look around. I was quite surprised to see so many clothes in such good condition. The staff was helpful. Understanding they only have, what they have, and not what I want. Overall I was very pleased.

They harassed me followed me around the store then after almost 2 hours they call me to the front then tell me they wont take any of my clothes then proceeded to spit in my basket and told me sorry have a nice daydefinitely will not be continuing business there I hope they re-evaluate their staff and covid-19 precautions.

These chicks are rude. There is no reason for that nonsense. Both of you were rude when we dropped off and when we picked up. I understand a bad day, but dont take it out on the customer. We pay your check. If you dont like your job, go get another one. Either way, DO NOT treat customers like you are better than them for some reason. Remember your role. Weve been coming to this store for years now, but lately the store has become more run down, hugely overcrowded, and their quality control is severely lacking. The last few times Ive visited, the clothing I pick up has had stains, missing buttons or rips, and looks very worn down. They claim they buy gently used to new items, but their inventory doesnt reflect that. Likewise, when Ive tried to sell to them, they wouldnt take any of my clothing that looks brand new. They give me the same line of, While its in good condition, its not what were looking for currently. Bottom line, theyve become very stingy, rude, and they think theyre a higher establishment than what they are. The workers are all young teenagers who are flat out rude, dont pay attention to you, or have an attitude. Youve lost a loyal customer Uptown Cheapskate. Ill take my business to Platos Closet.

Great place for finding cheaper clothes that are actually in style. If you plan to sell your clothes here don’t expect to get rich, they have to buy your clothes and sell them at a lower price so they have to buy them pretty cheap. It is a good way to get rid of clothes you don’t need anymore though. I personally thing choosing store credit instead of cash is better because they have a huge collection of clothes for you to choose from, especially for females.

Friendly staff. Never know what great bargains will be found. Daughter found shoes including converse and Jordan. Also bought a $150 dress for $10. Inventory seems to rotate pretty well. Really great for mens clothing.

I would like to recognize Tobie for being so helpful . I went in to purchase my daughter some clothes and Tobie went out of her way to help handpick a whole bunch of things to surprise my daughter with. She was wonderful! I will definitely be coming back.

I shop every now and then at UA and have never had an issues with any thing Ive purchased for my young adults. Their clothes and prices are good. Their Sales are even better!

Why do I even bother shopping anywhere else?! I love this store. Bought 3 adorable summer dresses and a belt during their summer stamp sale for just over sixteen bucks.

Took in mens and womens Banana Republic clothing not more than a year old. As well as other top brand pants and a few shirts. Was told this is not what they were looking for. I figured it would be a little more fashion-forward given the area but the mens clothing they were selling was more Goodwill looking than anything else. Or really used so I understood why they didnt want my higher end clothes. I ended up giving them to a lady shopping in the store. She was very greatfull. Looking around it seemed as though the customer base seemed a little Goodwill as well. The prices were to be about a dollar or two under what you could buy new. The place was busy so Im sure they have a good business model. Its just not for me. Better than Platos closet for sure. Customer service and attitude were forced but nice. I think the poor girls were worn out and worked to death so I understood. If you love to shop its definitely worth the stop as Im sure you would find at least one little thing to buy.

WARNING PARENTS!!! STORE HAS NECKLACES THAT ARE FLIMSY AND DEFECTIVE RIGHT IN ARMS REACH OF YOUR CHILD. Thankfully, the Necklace Choker that my daughter was wearing broke around her neck without injury from small parts...Loss of Respect for Arlington Uptown Cheapskate today, after supporting the Uptown Stores from the very beginning and spending chunks of money here. Uptown Cheapskate does not have integrity during sales transaction with paying customers. Nor does the store take responsibility for accessorizes they sale. Necklaces that are flimsy hanging right in hands reach to all the shoppers babies in strollers, toddlers etc. Hopefully a Mom will not have to deal with a broken necklace part in the mouth of their sweet child while browsing the counters. Staff member that identified herself as a manager behaved short and superior with me as a paying customer. Behaved as if my purchases and hard earned money was irrelevant to her as a store employee. On last evening, I purchased a large amount of items I liked. Decided to purchase about $35.00 in accessories that fail apart in 3 hours of wear...Rude Manager received the necklaces back in a unpleasant way after refusal to give me my money back nor placing a credit on my account as she stated...SNOTTY, RUDE & ON A POWER TRIP AS A STORE MANAGER... Do not buy that junk!

I bought vans shoes here for 20$. Seemed like a good deal. Problem is the right and left shoes were different. They were the same size and color, but manufactured in different counties. The right shoe was narrow with a slightly different cut and didnt fit the same as the left. Worst thing is NO REFUND OR EXCHANGES ON SHOES.

They have really cute items are over proceed and I didnt get the best value for the items I sold.

They said waiting in store would 20-30 minutes, it took an hour. Then they only gave me $8 for several items. They need to figure out better buyers because some things in the store are good quality and priced very high while other things look like theyve been drug through a sewer. Dont even bother trying to sell here, they have no idea what they are doing.

Very friendly and big selection. I always find cute things. Very trendy clothes and accessories. The only downside is they over crowed the racks so it takes time to shop.

This store has poor customer service. They offered me $48.00 for 3 Coach hand bags in perfect condition and a new MK bag. $60.00 if I use in store credit. I was told to put my bags on the floor until they can get to them.They treat your items like they are worthless yet they are willing to buy them for way less then what they are worth. This is my second time trying to do business there and I want be going back.

I love this place. I always find great name brand stuff for my kids. They are 17-26 and all have such different styles. I find everything here and even a few things for myself. I love that its not cluttered like some other discount stores. I just got 1 of my daughters a Nike outfir for less than $12!!! At Christmas I think bought 70% of their gifts here. Love love 💘

Its not as cheap as regular thrift stores, but you tend to find better quality stuff with minimal searching, which is good. Prices are close to real market prices because they actually buy some of the merchandise you shop and some stuff is on consignment so dirt cheap bargains are rare at least in my experience. You will still save money to shop here, and you may even find something you can resell, but rarely.

They are horrible! I went in with a few Ralph Lauren shirts super nice and clean. 501 Levi’s never worn some Levi shorts and some khaki Jordan shorts and the only thing they wanted to offer me was 3 bucks for the Jordan shorts out of the whole suitcase. I will never go back there or recommend anyone to go. Their loss everything I saw there was trash nothing like I brought in. And most of it just came from the cleaners and they said they were damaged they were nice and ironed up still had tags on it lol what a joke!

I go here often. While I love the selection and prices, customer service says a lot. The girls are young so I dont take it personal. Ive met one nice employee there and I wish I knew her name. This store is simply amazing!!! Resale? what resale. the store is so organized and it so clean. visually is beautiful and so easy to shop around the store.

Great prices and amazing selection (especially the mens section. Nice to have a resale in town that isnt exclusively geared towards teens. The staff have always been nice to me. Ive never sold anything to them, but anyone who complains about not getting much obviously doesnt understand how these stores work.

Bad lighting in some areas of the store particularly in the dark colors section makes it hard to see. Some racks are overloaded its a struggle to pull out 1 item. Purchase prices are decent but when your selling expect a Cheapskate offer literally. There is a huge variety of brands, even brands you dont find in a high priced mall. Cute store setup. And in a convenient shopping area.

I took some clothes to sell here and they only took a couple of pieces but they explained that they arent in need the type of things I was selling. I know they are older styles, thats why I was selling them 😁 However I appreciate how they took the time to explain. I also found some great stuff for way cheap so it was worth the trip.

I went for the first time yesterday and I absolutely loved this place.. not only did they give me a good price for my old clothes.. they also had nice updated fashion. (I walked out with a blazer and boots for $20!!!!) Management was really nice and offered free chocolate almonds and coffee while i waited and shopped... seriously an awesome store and i will be going back.

Horrible establishmentWhen a customer is using a debit card YOU DO NOT HAVE THE RIGHT TO ASK THEM FOR AN ID ESPECIALLY IF THE CARD IS SIGNED. I had to first say hey can I pay for this stuff as I was the only person standing at the counter being ignored. Then she asked me for my name and phone number I said I dont want to give that. The cashier told me it was their policy and that it was a private owned establishment. So I made up a name and number just to spend $22 on my debit card. I made this purchase 1/11/18 at 6:16 pm I asked for a Mgr and guess what at this time of the night the Mgr was on a conference that was more important than a customer and I could wait for her to get off her call.Again customers have the legal right to make a purchase without giving out their name and phone number. We also can use a signed credit or debit card and not provide id and you the merchant are supposed to all accept it and let us be on our way.No one said hi to me or anyone else shopping in the store in order to find out what was on sale you had to find an associate not busy talking just to say the items with stickers. How you train your associates and what they are allowed to do is pure representation of you THE OWNER. I AM A STORE MGR and conf call or not if I am needed by a customer I am going to attend to that while excusing myself. No signs anywhere saying I have to show I.D and give my phone number. I dont like doing that

They only take certain clothes in to buy, nice workers. Though very picky on accepting clothes to buy from you to resell.And for a used clothing store, Uptown Cheapskate is NOT so cheap! Theyre actually kind of high priced on a lot of their clothes.
