I could not ask for a better experience in purchasing a new vehicle, other than the selling price, but that goes with the supply and demand and the current condition we are in with the pandemic and shortage of merchandise that we have at this time. Larry (the salesman) and Bryan (the finance person) were both great. I was there the minimal amount of time. The facility was very nice and clean and everyone was very helpful. I am hoping that the service department is just as good.

I went in because I had a nail in my tire and I was loosing air pressure on it and the rest of the tire where a little low as well. I also told them there was a small scratch on the side. I checked in at 10am and after an hour I was wondering why it was taking this long, I figure because of the scratch and maybe because they where doing full service on it because I received a message that a 10,000 mile service was due on it. Another hour passed by and still nothing, I didnt complain since I thought it will be worth the wait since my baby (my truck) will be up to date on maintenance. On the 3rd hour I went to ask why was it taking so long and what other service was being done on it, he said just the tire. So 3 hours there and the only thing they did was replaced the tire, THAT IS IT NOTHING ELSE. What make it worst I also lost some over time at work because I was late because it took them 3 hours to change a tire. I would give them no star but that is not a option.

Every time I take my vehicle in for an oil change it takes them more than an hour and a half. The last time I was waiting for 3 hours. Makes me regret that I spent the extra money on the oil change package when I purchased my extended warranty. If I would have known the amount of time I would be sitting in there waiting room, for a simple oil change, I would have passed. I have more importantbways to spend my days off other than waiting way too long for an oil change.I unfortunately still have more oil changes that I have already paid for!

Unlike a lot of Ford dealers that we’ve dealt with recently during the vehicle shortage, Don Davis is not taking part in the price gouging; no ADM. We felt like valued customers instead of like they were doing us a favor by even talking to us. Don’t waste time with other Ford dealers, go see Walt Ayers at Don Davis!

I just purchased my 21 Explorer & my experience was great! I worked with Xavier & he truly went above & beyond to guide me through the process! I am a difficult customer & need every little detail explained to me & then I will question that explanation....anyways the point is I am not easy to please & their whole team went to great lengths to help me stay in my comfortable price range without compromising on what I wanted- which is truly rare in the car business! I am in awe of my experience yesterday with Monty my salesperson. He called me and told me he had a car for me to look at thought it would be me perfectly and I told him no I thought it would be too big and he said just let me bring it over and let you look at it I said okay. Well he knew exactly because I fell in love with this car and they actually made miracles happen for me to got approved for this car because I have terrible credit. I was looking for a used pickup truck, as is, with no expectation of dealer support. Boy, was I surprised by this dealership.The salesperson and sales manager were very accommodating and friendly. They showed me a 15 year old pickup in my price range (cheap). The truck was in descent shape for its age and included a new oil filter and oil, new tires and a one year old battery. The sales manager agreed to fix a minor upholstery issue in order to close the sale.Neither the salesperson nor the sales manager applied any pressure to push me to purchase.Ten days after delivery, the sales manager also agreed to correct a brake problem, something he did not have to do.This level of customer support is expected from a new car purchase with a warranty but not from a 25 year old truck. Combining the friendly dealership and really good service / support, I would not hesitate to purchase another car from them in the future.

Terrible service. The service manager doesnt call. I have called twice. I have even called my salesman Walt but he cant get the service manager to call me. DONT PURCHASE YOUR VEHICLES HERE IF YOU WANT GOOD SERVICE AFTER THE SALE. They dont offer a loaner vehicle if you have an issue due to warranty. Guess they are going to make be a GM buyer

Every time I take my car into this place, the service gets worse. This past time was the LAST time Ill be there. Shoot they dont look like theyll be in business much longer anyway. Maybe thats the reason for their lack of service. I took my car in for a recall notice and they didnt even fix it. They literally had my car for 8 hours and didnt even LOOK at the recall fix. ABSURD on so many levels! Ill drive into Dallas and even further before I take my car back to this place again. Im DONE! Take your car there at your own risk!

I too had dealing with this Mark regarding recalls.. Very rude and vague about the recall. I set my appointment was there @ 7am as scheduled. This guy was not even there. The girl that was didnt know anything.. I left my car only to be called around 12 to be told they dont have to part.... HUH then why would you schedule an appointment if you dont have the part... So I have to wait for the call when they do come in... More loss time from work.. Yeah I am not happy !!!!!😡😡😡😡😡

Disappointing. Got there for an oil change and was told “recommendations” based on mileage of car and that my car was out of basic warranty and would have to pay for my car to be put on a diagnostic machine.Being upsold, my fault I fell for the bait, I have always had Toyota’s and they’re low maintenance super reliable. This is the first Lincoln I’ve had. Anyways my issue is the device person telling me my car was out of warranty and that I’d have to pay for it to get checked and then maybe depending on if my flickering tail light is covered under power train not the basic since it’s expired. My car is not out of the basic warranty yet. I have a few thousand miles before it is. After being given misinformation and realizing I had been upsold things the vehicle didn’t necessarily need, I have lost trust for this dealership. My car was returned with mud on the drivers mat, no paper for cleanliness also. I won’t be back and I don’t trust them.

The worst experience with a service department in my entire life! Had an appointment for Tuesday at 11am. a week later the car is still waiting to be looked at. During this time I have received zero updates on the status of my car. In the meantime I am renting a car with no end in sight! I have sent emails and left voicemails for the service manager as well as the GM with no replies. They should rename it the “no service department”! Buying the car everyone was so helpful, now that it needs service no one is helpful! Again, the worst experience with a service department in my life!! I will never buy a vehicle from Don Davis again and will pass the word!

I will NOT go back to this dealership! The Service Advisor MARK PRESTWOOD is unprofessional and rude!I called on 3/23/2021 to set up an appointment for a recall notice. After being hung up on once, I called back and eventually got transferred to Mark Prestwood in the service department. He was very vague about an appointment time, finally he stated that an 8:30 am appointment was available for April 1. I was very specific and explained to him that due to this being my familys only vehicle that I needed it back that same day. He stated that the recall could be done in one day. I then asked if they had the part on hand, he said we should; again, not a definite answer! Once I arrived at the appointment the service rep stated that they may have to keep my vehicle overnight due to the service department being 30 cars behind schedule. 30 CARS!!! I was able to talk to Mark P. that day in person and he is unprofessional, sarcastic and still so vague with setting up a future appointment and how long they would need my vehicle. I will NEVER take my car back to this dealership and I will NEVER refer any one to Don Davis Ford of Arlington! Horrible service and communication skills! I expect better from a Ford dealership! You all should do better!!

Everyones experience is different so here is mine... I havent had to deal with a car dealership in years, but this year I decided I wanted to purchase a new truck. I get why people often have anxiety and trepidation about going through the new car buying experience. Well my experience with Don Davis Ford lived up to that experience. The feeling that your best interest was not in their mind, sales person. The fast talking, beat you down with add on options, finance manager. And of course, the car sales manager who pops in to seal the deal. Despite all of that I actually moved forward with a deal. I told my sales person I would be there the very next day to sign paper work. It was less than 2 hours before I was to head to the dealership that I got a call that they sold the truck I arranged the deal on. First come, first serve they said. There was no heads up, no warning from my sales person that my deal was in jeopardy. The time I spent gathering all the information, negotiating terms, and preparing myself to get the truck was all disregarded by the entire team at Don Davis. Its your choice who you do business with, and this is the type of service you can potentially experience at Don Davis.

I drove from the Houston area to purchase from Don Davis, I bought a new used truck and had a great experience. As soon as I pulled up I had some waiting to greet me to get started right away. They had the truck I was buying cleaned up and ready to go. The entire process was very smooth with no games that you will experience with most dealers. My sales guy was very friendly and professional and was very patient with all of my questions. I did speak with the used car director (Gus) also, he was very down to earth and helpful. Gus is top notch and someone I would like to do business with again at some point. The dealership was very clean and well kept, I cant say enough good things about Gus and his team all the way from Sales to Finance. I buy a different truck every year, and I will be calling these guys when Im ready again.

Had a Drs apt @ Scott White Baylor in Dallas stopped at a Quik Trip and filled up with diesel in Arlington. We made it maybe 2 blocks before the truck died & wouldnt run. Had it towed to Don Davis Ford.. This was on Jan 4 2021. We picked it finally @ 5:00 pm on February 4, 2021. It was a horrible experience exacerbated by Don Davis Ford suggesting we contact our insurance company and utilize our towing and rental insurance on the truck. Long story short the Farmers Insurance Company drug the ordeal out because of their demands on testing the gas & then declined the claim. Quick Trip paid for repairing the vehicle we drove from Arlington to Odessa that half way home we stopped and got a bite to eat and when we started to leave died, fortunately it restarted and we made it home. Not certain if it is repaired or not. We had multiple calls that we left messages and calls were never returned. They would not give us a definite time when it would be ready knowing we had a long trip there to pick it up. Was told probably Wednesday, maybe Thursday. We called at noon Wednesday and were told it will probably be ready tomorrow come around 5:00pm. When we showed up it took at least a half an hour to find the vehicle and bring it up front. Then although prior arrangements had been made with Quik Trip to pay for the repairs we had to wait for this process to take place. Nothing but a headache!!

My vehicle was there for 5 weeks. They charged over $800 for an uncommon part that was supposedly out of production. I would have called it a wash if the problem was fixed but it wasn’t. The vehicle went in with the same code I got back. I replaced the relatively common part myself indicated specifically by the code. That part was $45 and has been TROUBLE FREE ever since. Vehicle is great. The service department couldn’t even read a trouble code. Now I am permanently enlisted in Don Davis Sales spam which reminded me I need to leave a review. MR DAVIS – TURN OFF YOUR SPAM (…and fire your service dept.)

My first experience was great in the beginning but after my car that Ive only had 50 days started giving me some problems I found out my paperwork was incorrect which caused me to have to run back a forward between don Davis Ford and don Davis Nissan after getting paperwork corrected now I go back to the auto shop where still no help my license plate light is already out and Ive only had my car 50 days so now im driving home with no help at all in the beginning I told everyone this was a great place to buy a car from now ill be sure to do the opposite everywhere I go as well as all 5000 of my Facebook friends theyll do whatever to get you in a car but if anything goes wrong you are on your own !!!!!

I had the pleasure of purchasing a pre-owned vehicle from Willie Woodard. I am a slow buyer in general and to top that off I was purchasing from out of state. I had many questions about the Lexus vehicle that was for sale and even though they are a Lincoln/Ford dealer Willie worked hard to get answers for me. Since I could not see the car in person before buying Willie even accommodated my having a 3rd party PPI done by a local company. We negotiated on the price and it was straight forward and quick with no games. Once we were sent on a price I had the challenge of having the vehicle delivered to me in the Northwest suburbs of Chicago. After looking at options (none of them very good) Willie on his own accord offered to deliver the vehicle himself driving the 950 miles! He did this immediately! For a more than fair price after closing the sale at 4pm on Friday, by 2pm Saturday the vehicle and Willie were in my driveway!! The car was exactly as expected. Willie must have been exhausted but remained patient and polite as we went through the paperwork.I would not hesitate to recommend working with Willie for the purchase of a new or used vehicle. He is a joy to work with and a stand up guy.

I felt that the waiting period was appropriate. They had me finalize everything with the cashier and I was out the door in a couple of hours.

I was very pleased with the service. I brought my MKX in for an Oil change and a State Inspection. While the vehicle was there they ran a diagnostics on it and found a dead cell in my Battery - replaced it under warranty. I am very glad they were proactive with finding the issue with the Battery because this is my wifes car and the thought of her being stranded out somewhere is not good. Thank you Don Davis.

I Love my new Ford Foucas! It is a great car.I always take it in to the Don Davis in Arlington.Their service has really started to go down hill ever since the General Manager left and they got a new one.I had to have my car towed in due to a dead battery in April and when we picked it up and took it home we saw the battery cover was in the back seat of all places..not great service for 250.00 then on 7/29 I spent another 100.00 on a front end alignment and thought that the battery cover would be taken of at that visit because I had complained about..but no ...then they topped of my fluids for the full service routine that I usually love about them ...but they broke my windshield fluid container. I have called at least 7 times and spoken to several people and even my service adviser ....and when he did not call back I found out he was no longer with the company. I left several messages for the service manager and General manager to call me back. I have not heard a word from anyone . They have taken my money for 4 years and have now on very simple things have gone radio silent. I have been trying to get the level of service that I have always received when the old General manger was there for 5 months now to no avail. They have turned over a new leaf with this new GM and it is quickly making me think I need to go to another Ford dealer and hope that I can find the same level of service which has always had myself and my family as loyal Ford customers unless this is the New Ford WayStill no response..no help

This was one of the WORST car buying experiences I have ever had in my lifetime, and I am in my 50s. I flew in from out of state spending a lot of money on a flight. I paid multiple Uber/Lyft fees to come out to this dealership to look at cars, and the people who work here act like its no big deal taking your money with no conscience with the lemon used cars they sell. I paid over $5,000.00 for a used piece of junk from this dealership, and after one month of barely driving the car, the transmission is out on the car sitting in my driveway non-operational. The repair is going to cost me more than I paid for the car! Between the money I spent for the flight, the Uber/Lyft fees, the hotel costs, the gasoline back home & the cost of a new transmission, I could have bought a brand new car instead of the junk they sold me. The temporary tag is still on the car and its not even driveable at this point! I am furious as to the behavior of this dealership, and I will never come to this dealership or this state again to buy a car. They totally screwed an innocent person who did the right thing spending my money in good faith selling me a piece of junk that I cannot even drive at this point.

Repair service is always excellent, the customer service reps help you as best as they can but as with most companies management never hires enough staff to do the job properly. You leave messages on voice mail, then no one calls you back. You have to keep calling until you finally get someone. I would recommend this dealership for its mechanics because their work is excellent, but for what you pay you should get better customer service.

I had my car in for Recall issue. When I got it back my tire pressure monitor system did not work nor my remote start. I called back and Marc Prestwood made me another appointment and fixed it right up in less than a couple of hours. All good now.

We landed at Don Davis after a couple of terrible experiences at other dealerships in the area (think of all the horror stories you know type of experiences). When we connected with Chad (Sales Mgr), I was straight up honest on what we were looking for. Start to finish the process took 2.5 hours, everything Chad said he would do he did. It was a refreshing experience that came together better than expected. I HIGHLY recommend Chad, his sales team, including Jesse Bravo, and the amazing finance department. Thank you for confirming to us that buying a new vehicle can in fact be easy and pleasant!

I have now been to the service department here twice and it is funny to say this but it was enjoyable. The Staff and I mean everyone, are so friendly and kind, this makes your wait not so bad! I took the shuttle with Sam behind the wheel to Whole foods and he made me laugh most of the way there and back. Now the only reason that I didnt give 5 stars is because they take their time on your vehicle! That means if they say its going to be a couple of hours add about 45 minutes to that! Not really complaining because of the thorough care they give but just give me a more realistic time frame so I can plan accordingly! Love this service center though!

I made an appointment at the beginning of December to have my transmission fixed under an extended warranty. When I arrived this morning 12/26 at 7am for the appointment I was informed that the guy who works on transmissions is out on vacation until 01/06. This doesnt work for me because I specifically took time off to bring my vehicle in to the dealership. They cannot offer a loaner car if I were to bring the car in at a later date. I understand schedules change but to not even call your customer to inform them and reschedule is incredibly terrible customer service.

Don Davis was amazing. They were very friendly and actually listened to what me and my husband wanted in a new vehicle and only showed me the vehicles that matched. They went out of their way to help us and get us approved. This is the second vehicle we have bought from them and will come back if I need another vehicle. If you want a great car buying experience come to them first, you wont need to go anywhere else.

Best car buying experience ever!! Larry Hinton and Clark LeDoux took such great care of me and I couldnt be happier with my new 2017 Edge Titanium! From the very beginning of locating the perfect Edge (within my price range), to receiving the highest trade in value on my previous car, and then securing financing for my new vehicle, everything went smoothly! They took care of EVERYTHING for me and were so friendly and always available for any questions or concerns I had. At no point was I stuck waiting or wondering about any part of the process... they kept me well informed and always had everything ready for me. There was absolutely no headache or stress with this new car purchase (which was not the case with my last purchase elsewhere). In the finance department, Tony followed suit and kept the excellent customer service streak. He was just as helpful, organized, and friendly! I was in and out in no time... 2.5 hours to be exact- from start to finish (that includes my 35 min drive from North Dallas to Arlington, getting my new edge, and driving back home). Seriously cant say enough about these guys!! Im in love with new Edge and they made car buying fun!!
