I dream of these bagels. I love these bagels. I get these bagels before a long day or after a long night. I particularly like their bacon, egg, and cheese breakfast bagel or their Nova lox. The line can get long quick, but the staff do a great job of keeping it moving. They also have donuts and pretty darn good iced coffee and cold brew. There isnt a lot of seating inside, but theres plenty outside if the weather is nice.

One of my favorite bagel places in the area. I grew up in the North East, where Bagels are a staple and the best I’ve ever tasted. Bethesda Bagels is the closest to a “real” bagel as I’ve found in the area. The smoked salmon cream cheese is my favorite topping. Prices are fair and staff is friendly

I gave Bethesda Bagels 3 trys because the egg and bacon is really well made, even when given an incredibly dry bagel twice! This time the bagel was perfectly made, except they burnt it to a crisp :( It was clearly burnt, so Im disappointed they just slapped it together, wrapped it up, sent me on my way.

The bagels were good. The nova bagel is salmon and cream cheese with the extra toppings or choices you order - I got this with chive cream cheese, tomato, capers, and onions on an everything flagel (flattened bagel). Others got sausage, cheese, and egg bagels. I would say the nova bagel was definitely the winner here. Only downside was we were missing the olive, and the veggie cream cheese we had ordered with the 6 bagels we ordered for the next day. They do offer salt bagels, which happen to be a favorite of mine, but there seems to be too much salt on these ones - we ended scraping them off. Aside from the missing sides and the salt bagels I would absolutely go back for a nova bagel.

Walking in I thought the prices were a bit high, but then the bacon egg and cheese on an everything bagel arrived. Its a good 40% larger than normal. Its a fresh bagel made in house. They have fresh eggs not the slurry of other places. Pretty impressive.

I ordered an egg and cheese bagel and it was awful. The egg tasted so bland and kept falling off because was 10 times bigger than the actual bagel. The processed cheese tasted equally bad. The lettuce also tasted like it had not been washed. I like the one off Adams Morgan but this sandwich was not good at all. Not sure I will go back.

The egg sandwich was delicious with the option of fried or scrambled egg. It did not take too long. The bagel was decent too. Wait was not too long to order or get the sandwich. Service was friendly.

I had to organize a breakfast for 160 people and I couldnt be happier with the service I got. Very professional, on time delivery( the guy who delivered was very kind and helped setting up the boxes) the bagels were delicious too .

One of the absolute best turkey clubs Ive ever had and I eat a lot of turkey clubs. The bagels here are fantastic.Why the two stars then? The service is just that bad. Being in this bagel shop feels uncomfortably similar to being at the DMV. It takes forever even when its not that busy, they call out numbers seemingly at random and everyone who works there acts as if you are a nuisance for ever wanting to come in.I will miss you delicious turkey club. Its not your fault. You did your best.

Seeing Bethesda bagels in Arlington I was a little confused but Im glad my curiosity got the best of me. Now looking at the prices I was expecting some quick put together bagel but let me tell you I was so wrong. I got a giant bagel with egg bacon American cheese and honestly I think it was the best Ive ever had. It barely fit in my hands and after the first I couldnt put it down. I highly recommend this place to everyone! Great customer service great prices and a great atmosphere! Parking is a little tricky. I just threw my hazards on and ran in lol.

Best place to get a loaded bagel sandwich I’m the DMV. Unfortunately, the past several times I went, they forgot the main toppings, which we were charged extra for anyway (example; cream cheese or turkey bacon). Because we do curbside pickup for COVID safety, we are unable to unwrap it in the car, so by the time we figure it out, it is too late.

I loved it. Not crowded but very steady with customers. I just had the biggest and most insane bagel sandwich ever!! I highly recommend the Nova B L A T.

Best bagels in the area. We come on the weekend with my family and enjoy watching the bakers hand working the dough into bagels. Always worth the visit especially since the metro comes up right next to them.

I enjoyed all of my to-go order with one exception. I came here to leave feedback so maybe changes can be made. My only issue was with the bagel reuben sandwich and how it was wrapped. It was wrapped in paper and all of that paper was stuck in the melted cheese. I had to attempt to dissect it to get the paper out, but I am fairly certain I ate paper as it was hard to tell what was paper and what was cheese. My suggestion is to wrap this type of sandwich in foil to prevent this happening. Otherwise, everything was delicious & will try to order again the future.

The bagels were good but a little bit too plump with too little topping. If I liked plain bagels I think it would have been great but the ratio of topping to bagel is a little offset by how fat the bagel is and there not being enough topping to account for it.

Multiple tofu options for vegans and plenty more for vegetarians and omnivores.Most importantly, they’ve had a conscientious COVID protocol in place since March 2020. I order online, get a text when it’s ready, and go pick it up. As close to no-contact pickup as you can get.Using this method, many of my orders have been ready within 15 minutes. My larger orders have taken 45 minutes and featured multiple grilled items. The timeframe has always been conveyed prior to ordering online (listed at the top of the page) and they’ve always met or beaten the deadline.If they were open on Friday/Saturday nights, I’d be in heaven.

Only one side of my sandwich had sausage on it, I don’t even know how that’s possible. Literally the whole sausage was only on one half. Adding cream cheese was a mistake. A sloppy mess. Also there were so many slices of cheese I had to remove them, I love cheese but 4 slices is way too much. Its a nice gesture to offer so much customization online, but it directly translates to the chaos and sloppiness. I’m sure its coming from a good place, but my sandwich was so overloaded with ingredients that it became repulsive. Too sloppy, couldn’t eat it. I do want to acknowledge that the flavor was good and the egg was cooked to specification but it just doesn’t outweigh not being able to eat my breakfast.

Best bagel sandwiches in the DMV! The best staff, easy to use Toast app for ordering pickup , incredible amount of toppings and great quality ingredients! I live 20 minutes away but it worth every drive every weekend morning ! Abu is also the best staff he gives me smile and make sure everyone feels welcomed!

I tried the spinach bagel today for the first time. There are a lot of options and I took a while to select the one I wanted to satiate my Lunch hunger. The price was great, they have little seats at a corner for you to sit and eat if you want and its right across the Rosslyn metro station, so youre not far from your commute route.I think the normal bagels would have been a better choice and I overdid with my choice of melted mozzarella and spinach which was too much for me. Thats why a 4 star. Ill try one of the individual bagels, maybe that will increase my rating for bethesda bagels.

Im a big fan of salmon on bagels, and Bethesda Bagels doesnt disappoint. Since they make their own bagels, I expected this key ingredient to be of a high quality (and they are). I can also report that the other ingredients that make up their salmon bagel are also both tasty and of fair portion. The price is maybe a dollar more than Im used to paying elsewhere but still worth it. Also as a plus, they do offer variations of the salmon bagel, so if you prefer peppered salmon instead of simply smoked, they have you covered there, too. Definitely worth checking out.

Wow. Went on a Sunday around brunch time and the place was packed. Staff were working hard to pump out the orders in a timely manner but did not let that affect the quality of the food. While I waited on my order I enjoyed watching a staff member making bagels in the window! I got a sausage, fried egg, and cheese on the everything bagel. The bagel was very fresh and the sandwich was just what I wanted.

Ordered a bagel sandwich, and it had tons of every topping except the ham. It basically had the equivalent of one slice of ham. Its like they forgot or something. Disappointing.

Double parked this morning to pick up a half dozen bagels; two with cream cheese.Both were delicious.Highly recommended bagels; unfortunately location does not provide for easy parking access.

Being from NYC area and having lived in Manhattan many years I can honestly say that these are NOT true NY bagels. No taste whatsoever. The true test of a good bagel is when you eat it plain with nothing on it and this bagel fails that test. I had high hopes since Brooklyn bagels is so expensive but this is a no go.

I would give this place five stars if it werent for the consistently bad customer service each time I go, from one employee in particular. The same cashier has helped me on a number of occasions, and each time she has made it clear to me that (1) she didnt want to be there (2) felt entitled to say next in a soft voice and then stare at customers in a rude way when they dont advance right away and (3) complain to her coworker about customers right in front of them (I happened to be that customer this morning). The bagels are great, its just a shame that the positive vibes of the rest of the employees dont rub off on this particular one.

Handmade bagel quality is obvious when you take a bite. Fresh texture and delicious flavor. On top of that, portion sizes are very generous. Bagel sandwiches come LOADED with innards. So much that it is actually pretty difficult to keep the sandwich together while you are eating it. I think when thats the only criticism, thats saying something.

Went this morning for the first time. Ordered two bagel sandwiches and both were wrong. Pointed it out to the staff and they kindly remade them, but then my sandwich was wrong again. I didn’t want to hassle them to remake it again because they were busy. Tried to eat it, but only made it through half. It was just not good. The egg white was really wet for some reason, the bacon tasted like cardboard, and the bagel was a strange texture. Bagel seemed way underdone, almost raw. I never write reviews but I was really disappointed, I had heard such great things about this place! Would give 1 star but I did appreciate their customer service efforts.

They make their own bagels. You can watch them work in the window. The bagels are big. My first time, I made the mistake of getting two. At lunch time, they have pizza and sandwiches. Seating is limited to six stools at a counter at the window.

Their bagels are great, and their bagel sandwiches are greater. Great place to pick up breakfast.

So happy they opened here in Rosslyn! About 85 percent there when it comes to matching the bagels of the 60s in NYC - but I dont think you can easily match them there any more, either. Consider getting a mini bagel, with one in reserve perhaps, rather than a full-sized one. It will be a less weighty opportunity, if you know what I mean.

Finally Bethesda 🥯 makes it to Va. If youre looking for a mean breakfast bagel look no further. Bagels are made fresh throughout the day and are ready for your fillings of choice. Multiple cream cheese options, cheeses, meats and veggie options are all available. Service is prompt even when its busy.Might I suggest a visit to nearby Compass Coffee to wash down your delicious bagel?

I live in Rosslyn and have avoided this place for awhile because I thought it was an overpriced Bethesda gimmick. Shame on me. This place serves filling and delicious breakfast sandwiches. I cannot finish a sandwich in one sitting. This is a great place to start your lazy weekend.

Their bagels are amazing, but what melted my heart and will definitely make me go back was that the manager spoke Spanish with his Hispanic employees, despite not being Hispanic himself. It is obvious that their employees are treated with respect and dignity, and everyone was upbeat and positive despite being incredibly busy.

Fresh pastries. Didnt appreciate the store not having a restroom for paying customers. I asked the manager & they allowed me to use the employees restroom

We started out LOVING their everything bagel toasted with butter. We would go about once a week but then the quality started to be a little inconsistent.

Ordering bagels from Bethesda Bagels is extremely frustrating. I try to always get delivery because of COVID and they make it very very hard to order from Uber Eats. I’ve started an order on Uber Eats countless times, where half way through or upon checkout, I’m told the store is “closed”. At 9:45am on Sunday....This has happened multiple times. It nearly tricks you to assume that you can order from their location but then suddenly, you can’t. I don’t know if there is a manager turning uber eats on/off, but they’ve got to improve.
