I needed my A/C fixed on my 2011 Volkswagen Jetta. Dub Squared was recommended to me by another shop who does not work on Volkswagen vehicles. I saw they had awesome reviews on google and yelp so I decided to give them a try and I am glad I did. I had a great first experience with Dub Squared! They are honest and professional. Their prices are fair and they sent me pictures of the new parts they put into my car. They communicated with me every step of the way. Great Service, Very professional!

We had an appointment this morning for them to come pick our vehicle up for service. We had previous engine work done here (several thousand dollars’ worth) and the Check Engine Light had started coming on again. We took it in about a week ago to have the code read and was told that it was “nothing to worry about”. Three days later the CEL actually started flashing. We made the appointment then for the vehicle to be picked up this morning for service to figure out what was actually wrong and arrange repair. After telling us they would be here “midmorning”, they not only did not show up but did not even call to let us know they weren’t coming. We finally had to call them to see when they were coming, only to be told they couldn’t actually get us in now until next Wednesday. We will find a new place that will hopefully have more respect for our time (and money).

Great experience! Doing a stage 3 clutch upgrade on my GTI, Tyler was able to help me with installing it, even with some parts needing extra repair he was still able to get the job done in good time and at a great price. Awesome customer service, definitely coming back for future jobs.

I dont normally leave reviews however my experience with Dubsquared and Tyler that works there was far and above expectations!!! I have a VW Mark 7.5R and I am very particular about whom I let work on my car. Im heavily into tuning my cars as I have had a few show cars in the past. Having that being said I recently moved and could not get my R back to my normal shop. Dubsquared came recommended from a neighbor, turns out to be one of the greatest recommendations ever! I took my little guy in for a stage 1 tune and a stage 2 clutch kit. Not only was the work done professionally and all details covered but they made sure I was pleased with their work. I can tel you it’s unlikely any other shop will beat their prices. The service was quick. Although I scheduled the service and was aware of the price I got a call to authorize the job. I was also informed about everything else on my vehicle looked good. They discount first responders and military; definitely my go to.

First time going to Dubsquared. Had APR performance software installed on my Audi S4 as well as a new supercharger pulley installed. Everything from the very first phone call I made to the product delivered was absolutely outstanding. All of the staff are super friendly and knowledgeable.They went above and beyond in many ways. I had an issue with the car making a funny noise and they scheduled an appointment, but said I could drop it off the night before. 30 minutes after the appointment time I received a call saying We figured out the problem. You should be getting an email with pictures showing the problem part and our quote.And no sooner had he finished the sentence it was in my inbox. They even recommended replacing a few tires (which isnt a service they provide) because it was a safety issue.Other times Ive called with a minor issue and instead of telling me to come down they took time to suggest a few fixes that cured the problem.Your getting dealership quality work with the customer service of a small shop.

I was highly satisfied with their service! Fair prices and customer service. Read on for my experience with them if you’d like, but I highly recommend Dubsquare for Volkswagon repairs.I took my ‘07 Jetta to a dealership nearby first to get it diagnosed for a check engine light and to fix a wheel barring. I fixed the wheel barring at the dealership for over $500 and walked out with a list of things that were wrong with my car and a 5k quote. My car did need a lot of that work, but what I was quoted was overpriced. I decided to fix my car so that I could keep if for a few more years before looking to replace it. I brought it in to Dubsquare and I received many of the same diagnosis with a much reasonable price tag. I got all the work and more done with them for 2/3 of the price the dealership quoted me. I don’t have any experience with cars, but they made it comprehensible for me to work with them and made me feel comfortable with the process.

Went few days ago super cool dude in the front but was told my car did not support APR turn that I have been pushing off for a year and a half so all was good but I wanted to be sure so I took my car to my vw dealership and they said ya we can get it done in 2 hrs few hrs later I have a car that went from 171hp to 245hp the point of this review is that I felt lied to and also upset due to this was my Christmas gift to myself after a hard year but over all the feeling they offer is a welcome and vary friendly place to come and be apart of so thank you for making feel welcome but please dont lie to the next person or make sure your system is up today with latest apr software

They did me a good job on my Jetta TDI timing belt replacement, for a good price. Less than anybody else that I have found!

Went in to get my water pump and timing belt replaced on my Golf TDI. They did a great job. My car was back in my hands within a day. Great price and turn around time.

Top notch service ! I worked with both Philip and Brandon, but mostly with Brandon. I took my 2011 VW CC at 80k miles for a DSG service and to swap the the infamous timing tensioner for the newer model. I also got a walnut blast to remove all the carbon gunk in my engine valves. They quoted me a very reasonable price and did a great job. Brandon also cleaned all the components under the hood, which I really appreciated. I only wish that they would be open for business on Saturdays.

I just moved here from Alaska and had made the trek across country, about a 5,200 mile trip. My car had thrown some underboost codes throughout and of course I panicked. I absolutely love my GTI and am always very peculiar about how I treat it and care for it. Being new to town, I was pretty nervous finding a reliable place to take her into, esp with other repair shops I’ve had to deal with in the past. Dubsquared was able to get me in the day after I got to town, diag’d it within a couple hours and we’re super professional. I had a transmission issue with my 2004 Audi A4 and had been to several online forums and local repair shops for diagnosis. The diagnosis and estimates I received were all over the map. After research into my transmission problem I began looking for a reputable repair shop. Bear in mind I have been in the retail auto business for 35 years and have dealt with many, many repair shops. I found Dub Squared on the internet then called them and liked what I heard. I took my Audi to them and they fixed it right the first time for a very reasonable charge and kept me posted as to the status of the ordered parts. I would highly recommend them for maintenance and repairs on VW and Audi products. My daughter and son-in-law have 2 Volkswagen Jettas and will recommend this shop to them.

I had an oil leak on my VW and I was sent to one shop (NOT DUBSQUARED) that I was told did great work, but they would not list out the price of why they were charging me so much to do. Which I asked how much they were changing me per hour to fix the car, I was told anywhere from $85 to $120 per hour, which completely sent red flags flying everywhere...what do you mean you cant tell me how much you charge per hour???So a friend of mine had told me about Dubsquared and Im sooooo very happy he did. These guys not only are honest about ALL work they do, they treat women just as well as they do men and they dont try to take you to the bank on the repairs. I not only got the oil leak fixed, I also had a torn boot replaced and my oil changed and it was still $400 cheaper than the first quote (NOT DUBSQUARED) where they were ONLY REPAIRING THE OIL LEAK!!!!They list their hourly rate right on their website, which is a HUGE plus for me. Plus, if you are in the armed forces, EMT, Police officer, Teacher and or some other things (listed on their window) you receive 10% off the price! THIS PLACE IS AMAZING....I was in and out in a day and I will definitely always be going to Dubsquared for all of my VW needs.

Took my Audi A8L in for noise it was having and did a full inspection for $85 and gave everything wrong with the car. things i had no idea were wrong. gave me a list of things i needed to fix now and things that can wait. they are awesome did it in two days and they give fire and police a 10% discount. had an oil leak (so i thought) but found out the last place did not know how to do oil changes on this car. did not replace the crush washer after oil change. they send you an email to give you updates and also give you pictures to see the damage and progress. you will not find a better place to take your audi or VW!!!

Weve got two Volkswagens in our family with over 120k miles... Every time there has been an issue the folks at dub squared (Now run by the very capable Phillip) have been able to diagnose and fix it without trying to give me the run around. They are thorough, trained, quick, friendly and priced very reasonably for the amount of work it actually takes to fix these cars when something goes wrong. Ill never have my Volkswagens fixed anywhere else as long as I live in the area. I own a 2001 Audi TT Quattro Roadster. I am extremely happy to find a shop that I can trust to work on my car. (I just wish that they worked on makes other than VW and Audi so I could take my wifes car there as well.) They treat my car as if it is their own and I couldnt ask for more.I ran across Dubsquared when I had an APR performance program installed. I returned when I went ahead and performed the regular maintenance of replacing the timing belt (early as we know the original timing belts are known for early failure...). I had shopped around and Dubsquared had the best pricing. They also replaced a CV boot and some bushings on the suspension that they found were bad. They gave me options and explained the advantages & disadvantages of each.While making these repairs, they found a brake line leak. They patched the leak with an epoxy patch on their own (no charge) and then informed me of what they had done and gave the option of replacing the line if I chose to do so.I recently had a failure in a coil pack (again, they told me that they could replace one, but it would be the same labor cost on my car to replace all four...my choice). They also diagnosed a braking problem that another person had told me would require replacing the whole ABS block...turned out to be a sensor beginning to fail...which they diagnosed correctly.Finally, my A/C stopped cooling...Texas...Dubsquared diagnosed the problem as it was found the compressor casing was cracked open. The compressor was replaced and, upon testing (yes, they tested it for an extended period rather than just saying, hey, its ready and me having to bring it back) the compressor failed. Long story short, it was a rare problem that I researched (Black Death) and found occurred on Fords, Chevy, Honda....but could not find Audi/VW occurrences. Dubsquared spent days taking apart my whole system and individually flushing every component. I did have to replace the condenser, but Dubsquared worked with me, offered to help out with a rental (which I refused as they helped in so many other ways), and charged me a fraction (about a third or less) of the work actually done.I read up on this rare problem and found people spending thousands of dollars only to finally have to replace the ENTIRE A/C system...Black Death is what it is called online. Dubsquared kept apologizing for the length of time, as they had never seen this before...(years of being the top mechanic at the dealership, training, certifications, and finally having their own shop)...and yet, took ownership and I was the one to benefit.I know this is a long review, but the guys at Dubsquared have made that big of an impression on me. I have given out cards to those I know...even had a fellow employee convinced to choose a VW over another vehicle just because it is that important to find a great, dependable, and trustworthy mechanic that will treat a vehicle as his own.Thank you Dubsquared!

We VW owners in the Metroplex are lucky to have Dubsquared available for repairs and mods. Ive had an APR stage 1 tune and rear sway bar installed there. All work done quickly and proficiently. For oil changes they use the excellent Motul oil for VWs and Audis. Phillip is very knowledgeable about our cars and mods. As a bonus, Krispy Kreme is right down the street.

VERY TRUSTWORTHY! BEST VW SHOP IN DFW.Came in to get a repair on what I thought was a broken cooling fan.They could have easily charged almost $400 for the fan repair, and i would have gladly paid it considering the daily 100+ degree weather here in DFW. Instead they were HONEST and told me that all it needed was air conditioner service for less than $100.I have been going here for years to get my GTI worked on and recommend it to everyone! Especially VW owners.
