There are many beautiful and unique pieces of handcrafted jewelry. Gabriela took the time to show me several pieces, after getting a sense of what I was looking for. It was very hard to decide because I wanted to buy all of them. I finally settled on one item, but now I have a wish list of a few others. While visiting family in Arlington Heights over Thanksgiving, my daughter found a ring she adored. Its not like the big chain jewelry stores that you are intimidated to go into. I had a few rings that needed resizing and a couple of items that broke and needed repair. Manzano Jewelers is a fabulous jewelry store! My girlfriend Kay took me there when I was in town to check it out. Custom, Vintage pieces, and a lovely collection of turquoise/silver Native American/Mexican pieces. Alfonzo (designer and jeweler) & Gabriela manager and front person, are delightful, helpful and clearly have an eye for a find. Prices were well priced with some offerings that seemed a steal. The quality was outstanding. They also do repairs, and in the store upsized a ring I was purchasing for my sister. I also found a lovely little vintage ring and bracelet - match set. I wish I lived closer - I would be there more often. And they have a delightful Basset Hound....I cannot remember the name but he was a doll....I was too busy looking at all the goodies :-)

I purchased an adorable vintage silver charm on a necklace that is from Mexico and is a little purse that actual opens, similar to a locket.
