Still a good place to shop, especially for halal meats at the efficient butcher counter almost a wall in length. But after new owner remodel, the space feels cleaner but the old friendly, local farmers market feeling is gone -- so are the bins of nuts and dried fruits and former bakery, replaced by higher priced packaged items. Even the guards welcoming personality is different.

They have lots of middle eastern spices. They also have fresh produce with amazing prices. I also had my lunch Lamb Shank. It was delicious. The staff are super nice.

We really enjoyed this grocery. One you get past the tight squeeze at the front entrance, it opens up into a large, clean, beautifully laid out store with everything you never knew you needed.Dont miss the fresh bread baking area, the expansive and affordable meat section, or the amazingly beautiful and delectable fresh pastry counter near the exit (not to be confused with the fresh bakery area in the back).We were only there to have a first look and still walked out with lots of yummy things.

They changed the name of the store since I had been here previously, but some things just dont change. Employees dont know the products and theyre not very helpful. Prices went up almost 40% for some of the items purchased.They have a very large variety of produce, and most of it is fairly cheap compared to the large chain markets. Bad thing is theres no organic produce, so I wont buy. Same with much of the bagged and packaged food. Ill gladly spend the extra money to buy food without poison.

This market is an Oasis of vegetarian world! Price is excellant as compared to just about any super market. Super King does business a little close to Harvest Fresh Market but, not too close. Since COVID19, Romanic and Yugoslivic cheeses are not in supply and I miss those sheep milk cheeses but, this store manage really well.

Clean and organized. The prices were very good. Restaurant, pastry department and salad and olive bars were excellent. Also outside sitting area is very nice too.

8 pound sliced marinated chicken went to trash. I cooked the 2 pound same day, awful test, nobody ate accept me, I cooked next day too and had rotten taste, and threw it right away.I had plain sliced chicken put them in freezer and I cooked them next week. It is not rotten but, had sweet taste, why you add a sugar or something on the chicken.

Great quality and inexpensive produce. I come here for produce and meat, mostly. Very well organized and clean. Use this in conjunction with your regular grocery store to save money.

A very interesting and well stocked middle eastern store....but they also have Asian and Latino products to serve their neighborhood. Outdoors, some days, they offer kabob lunch combos. Indoors they have a very excellent deli where you can pickup well made Middle Eastern dishes. I had a 1/2 chicken combo that was delicious

Excellent vegetable and fruit selection. They also have an oven for fresh bread both Persian and Arabic. With the exception of bread, all meat products marinated and otherwise are Arabic or commonly known as Mediterranean. I have never bought raw meat or fish therefore Im not in position to comment. Marinated chicken kabobs, beef kabobs are of varied spices and Simply Delicious

Just love this market, especially since the renovations...so much cleaner and fresher and the aisles not as crowded, and the deli counter not as congested. I do miss the weekly or bi weekly circulars, and when I go to the website it hasnt been updated since March, so Im not able to make my list from the ad. It would be great to have the ad back again.

Big super market for all halal meat and variety of grocery options for almost all ethnic customers. Good reasonable prices. Meat quality is good. Verity of halal meat options, seafood is available too. Deli option and cooked food options are available too. Great bakery items available, from fresh baked bread to birthday cakes and fresh pastry.

Great selection of food items. Be sure to stop by the bakery for some delicious desserts for after dinner. We also tried two kabob plates from the patio bbq grill. The guys were working hard and felt the need to rush. Make sure that the chicken is fully cooked before serving!

It became very expensive market, the price of most items are multiplied by 3. In addition, the behavior of the lady that is working in the pita bread oven is very disrespectful and tricky. She lied on me when I asked her to give me fresh hot bread, she put all the old bread in the bag and cover it by 3 hot bread on surface of the bag and lie to me that this is all fresh bread. It is unacceptable behavior, She made me very angry when I went home, while there were alot of fresh bread just produced she used decieving way I did not understand its reason.

I ordered 3 plates of 2 kebab and rice each, I was told to come back after 15 minutes to pickup my order, when I went to pickup Persian lady wanted to give me only 1 kebab when I told her I paid for 2 kebabs in each plate, she started to shout at me and called the security, I told either me the correct order or return my money, first she and the security said no then I said call the police or give what you charged me for or return my money, eventually I got my money back. They were treating me as if I was a thief, even though it was their mistake. I will never shoot here, very bad customer service.

Located near Brookhurst / Katella with large parking area. Disliked only 2 parking spaces for handicapped. Middle eastern restaurant next door to grocery store. Air was filled with aroma of lulu kabob. Harvest is Amazing Halal grocery store with extensive meat market. Extensive cheese bar, olive bar. Fresh produce,bakery with pitas bread made constantly. This item had line to pick up hot pitas. I liked that dairy area had goat milk available. Difficult to find in most big chain stores. It was overwhelming, since this is my first visit. Your eyes, ears, nose overcomes by the aromas, people, items for sale. I was previously customer at Super King. This is my new store. I bought beef neck bones, liver, gizzards. I will definitely be back for more!! I highly recommend this market due to prices very affordable. Masks required.

Ive been shopping at this place around 7 years and sadly Im living a bad review this time.I bought a couple of lbs of almonds Jordan mix item number # 6043 served to my guests at home and we find out theyre bad and Luckily no one got Sick.Overall, I got embarrassed with my guests and they got offended off me thinking Im serving cheap stuff or our leftover.Thanks.

Harvest Fresh Halal Market is literally the best halal market. You take a number and there are so many meat section employees they’re so nice! They always have fresh meat. I always come here between one or twice a week. I drive from Montebello to come to this market. Their prices are unbeatable for halal meat. I used to go to Pak Halal Meat Market in Artesia but the meat is very expensive. Once my cousin told me to come to Harvest Fresh it’s a tradition now. It’s so nice they have everything from box Indian mixes to a large vegetable section to a whole wall to wall section of meat. I even get my garlic and ginger paste here. I always get excited to come to Harvest they get five stars in my opinion. Also when I go we have a tradition to eat at Sababa Falafel Halal which is right on the exit of leaving Harvest 🥙 after or before we shop. I love cooking Pakistani and Indian dishes and this place is literally the best! Thank you Harvest don’t ever change!!! 😂🌹❤️- Always your Halal Chef Rose 🌹

Super wide selection of all kinds of goods! They boast that their entire selection of meets is halal which is pretty neat. They have a good selection of pre marinated meats ready to cook.They have some small bakeries located inside that look pretty neat. Prices are alright, remember to do your research to get the best deals.

Owners are very good people and helpful. Their Persian kabobs are good. Looks like they are bringing lots of good changes, which is nice. Also they are becoming more creative on restaurant and bakery items. I wish their kabob price is more competitive like wholesome choice.Sangak breads are delicious when baked fresh.

This is the very best supermarket for your fruits and vegetables even if you dont live in the immediate area. Its worth the drive. Large selection, premium quality and low prices. In addition to the traditional youll find at Ralphs or Vons they also have products from around the world such as jack fruit I have seen only in my visit to Thailand. Admittedly I go there mostly for the fruits and vegetables but I have noticed the large meat department with many people always huddled around waiting for their turn to be served by the butchers. When you visit be sure to walk over to their bakery department. Everything there is fresh and delicious.

This was my first time at this market. It was very clean, very nicely organized. I was pleased with the fresh fruit and vegetables. They had a large variety of exotic fruits. They had fresh made baklava and Turkish dellight. They have a bakery with fresh made bread. They have Halal meat. I will definitely be back. Every worker that I came in contact with were very nice and helpful and they all were wearing masks and gloves.

The reason why I give it 3 stars is because the renovated version of this store is much more organized and looks nicer. It also looks more clean. However, during times of pandemic, safety is first! I dont give it the full 5 stars because as I was observing my surroundings in the store, I saw that probably more than half of the employees did not have their mask on correctly. They technically had it on their face but not on their nose, which is one of first parts that should be covered with the mask. Others had it completely on their chin, mouth and nose uncovered. So that is of no protection what so ever. Also, I saw that one of the employees did a fist bump with another employee. What happened with the 6-feet distance rule? Lastly, they let all people in. In other words, they are not counting the number of people inside the store, they just let everyone in. So although it is a very nice store with good products, safety is the same or more important than anything else.

Excellent place for grocery shopping. Very low price, fresh, quality merchandise and HALAL meat choice. Beef price is lower than any other stores in Los Angeles even Restaurant Depot. I bought a few pounds and they are very fresh. The store is packed with everything you can think of except alcoholic beverages and pork products. Actually to my knowledge they offer much more verities of products than any other grocery stores in Los Angeles. I really want to rate this grocery store highly. It is my go to for ethnic groceries and halal meats. But unfortunately the customer service sucks, the cash registers and meat counters are always backed up forcing people to start competing to be first like a marathon making it harder to come back here everytime.

To the owner,I think you should know what’s going on in the store. I was in the store on Saturday and the cashier she over charge me. I didn’t not pay attention till I got home, I called the customer service and the manager Laura told me that’s okay I can come back and bring the receipt with me. The next day I came, I found another manager her name is AMALIA 👎🏻 And she was giving me hard time to refund me and bad attitude😡😡😡. I think you will lose a lot of customers because of her. She should not be in that position. She doesn’t know even how to count, I don’t know how she got that position.

Walnut prices cant be beat but the Baklava is not good. Tried all flavors and disliked them all. I usually love Baklava. Thats all Ive tried, so far, but Id go back to try some of their other stuff but only when I need walnuts. Dont think Id go otherwise only because om not familiar with most items. Personnel were friendly so thats a plus.

Very nice grocery. Everything is cheaper than Walmart, Ralph, starter bros, smart and final. They do have $6.99 BBQ package on weekends. Vegetables, meats like chicken, beef, lamb, salmon, shrimp, spices all are available here all the time. Great place for everyday grocery.
