Next Door and Window is hands down the best in door installation and customer service! We had our front entry door replaced and could not be more pleased with the results. The job was completed from start to finish, requiring absolutely nothing from us. Fred was on time, courteous, professional and did a phenomenal job getting our door/sidelights in. He cleaned up and put everything back as he found it.

I highly recommend NEXT Door and Window. This was the second job we hired them for. No-pressure sales and hassle-free design, with plenty of choices of windows and doors, as well as good financing options if needed. This job was for a custom door design and install, including removal of existing door, and removal and replacement of an existing storm door. Door was ordered promptly and updates were frequently sent to keep us advised of expected completion and delivery/install dates. Installer Raphael and his father were great! Right on time (actually 5 minutes early) for the appointment, they explained the work and listened to my concerns. They set of a dust barrier and completed the work skillfully, perfectly fitting frame, door and new molding in place (including notch for new kitchen counter) and even replaced existing wood threshold with a new one. Both men wore masks and adhered to state Covid guidelines, which was appreciated. Upon completion, they thoroughly cleaned the interior space and exterior area and walked me through all aspects of their work. A+++ job! Will definitely use NEXT Door & Window again!

I did my research when wanting to replace my front door. I saw the highly rated reviews and comments from different websites about the quality work that Next Door and Window performed. I saw the satisfaction from other customers. I am not in that category.When we confirmed the door installation, the sales rep assured me everything would be taken care of and we would not have an issues. The sales rep measured the door and someone from the installation department also came to measure the door.No problems until after the installation of the door is complete. 2 of the side panels are too short. Ok. Someone messed up. It happens but they promise that they will fix the issue. I wait 2 days with no call back from the service department. I call in and find out that the part has been ordered and itll be about 3 weeks for the next installation. No problem. The door works. Im happy with everything there.Second installation comes. They fix both sides and let us know that there arent any problems. Except when I do a closer inspection, the only fixed one side of the door and try to pass off a small hack job as complete. See photo attached. This is what passed as no issues with the repair.So I call the service department again and request a call back since its after hours. No one calls for 2 days. I call in again and I get the same spiel. We apologize blah blah. New part is due in 3 weeks on a Thursday when I will get a call from service to schedule my repair. That Thursday passes with no call. I call in on a Friday and they dropped the ball. I finally get the repair scheduled. And the door is complete. 2 months after promised with extra time taken off to cover for their mistakes.Summary: Door works fine but you need to chase them for every mistake made. They will attempt to hide mistakes from you and only admit to them once they have been contacted. You need to be on the ball to catch the issues and be on point to have them fix it.

NEXT replaced our current Pella wood front entry door with a fiberglass, maintenance-free door, with beautiful beveled glass, and we couldnt be happier. The product and the workmanship were both outstanding, exceeding our expectations, particularly the custom wood molding and trim they installed that matched our existing wood perfectly. It was far better and less expensive than the Pella door we researched, and I was much more comfortable in dealing with the NEXT salesman. He was very knowledgeable, straightforward and professional. Although it took awhile to get it installed, we were not in a hurry and actually preferred that it was installed in the spring. I would highly recommend NEXT to anyone and am considering them to replace our deck entry door.

He did a previous installation for us, and was so good that we requested him to do this installation as well.The entire process went smoothly, we love our new entryway door and the increased curb appeal it adds (not to mention the much improved energy efficiency) and we plan on calling on Next Door & Window for any future projects that we may have.

We recently had Next install a new door on our new home. We had used Next for a new door on our old house five years ago. They did a fantastic job on both homes. The second was a bit more complicated but Fred did an amazing job with the installation. Our experience with Gary in designing the door and the sale was excellent. We have been very satisfied with Next in both of our projects with them. And, they beat out another contractor by a lot. Great experience.

As you should, we had estimates from 3 different places and we went with Next Door because our salesman, Bill S., was extremely knowledgeable. We felt comfortable with him in the sense that he explained things well and we didnt feel pressured. The installation crew was professional and wore masks (life in 2020). We had a new door installed with sidelights and have been pleased with the communication and quality of work. We did have a longer delay on install, but it was expected due to Covid. We worked with Scott and he was very helpful and knowledgeable. Though a new door is expensive, we shopped many competitors and found Nextdoor was superior the the competition. We also had a few install scratches and they sent a service member, Dave to fixed our issue. I would recommend this company and use them again for any other needs. Just expect a longer timeline on the project- worth the wait!

I live in an old house and needed to replace the front door. It was not a simple decision as the interior trim work around the door was a mess. My sales rep from Next Door & Window said not to worry that his team would match the style and create new trim boards. I had my doubts on how it would look but the Next Door & Window Team exceeded my expectations. They did an amazing job! The new door look great from the outside but the interior is even better. Replacing exterior doors is not an easy job and it is worth the time and expense to trust such a professional team.

Im not a big review writer but wanted to make sure I took the time to do this. We had our front door and sidelights as well as the back sliding door replaced in August. We received 3 other estimates and Next was not lowest or highest but they were the best - most helpful in every way. Decorating and design is not our strength so we were nervous about picking out all the options. Our salesman, Roberto, was an expert at giving advice on color and style and knowing exactly what was going to be done structurally. We were able to find a product that had one color outside to match our siding and shutters and a wood grain on the inside to match our woodwork! He even had a computer program that put the doors/windows colors in place on a picture of our house so we could see in advance what it would look like! We were changing our back french door to a slider and were told by another company that the opening was too small for a standard size patio door and we should have it enlarged, which also required a new larger joist header - $10K more. Roberto assured us they could custom make the slider and the existing opening would be fine. The products took a while to arrive, once ordered, because of Covid, but once they were in the installation was a breeze. The two-man crew worked on both doors at the same time. They were friendly, kept a drop cloth over doors to prevent dust from entering the house and finished that same day. The one issue we had was with the outside crown molding above the front door. What they had brought and what we imagined it would look like were very different. So we called Roberto to let him know it wasnt what we expected and he had them hold off on installing the molding so they could make the molding we had hoped for. A few weeks later they came to install the final piece. Roberto and NEXT were adamant that we were completely satisfied. AND WE ARE!Thank you NEXT DOORS AND WINDOWS!

I looked at previous reviews, that is why I decided to use Next Door and Window. There was a little confusion by the installer as to what was supposed to be done, but all in all, it was a a superior job. There was much more than just putting in a door. New indoor trim, new outside frame and flashing, weather stripping, etc. It was quite expensive, but well worth it.

Many of these reviews are far too glowing. Read the ones that had issues, especially at the Better Business Bureau. After doing research, I cant do business with these guys.

Overall a great experience. Jason our sales rep was very knowledgeable and Fred our installer was meticulous and experienced. We would definitely use them again.

After speaking with several of them, we decided to visit the Next Door & Window showroom in Arlington Heights. Based on that visit, we chose to go with them and were not disappointed. The quality of the work was first-rate and the price reasonable. Bill Stahl, our salesperson, was terrific both when we visited the Arlington Heights showroom and when he came to our home to take measurements. His suggestions were very valuable and much appreciated. The two of technicians (Gedi and Volodymyr) did a terrific job with the installation. They were professional and personable. Well be happy to use the company again.

I needed a screen replaced in my Larson storm door. I purchased this door several years ago and just noticed that it wasnt holding properly in place. I called the service center and spoke with Art Lehmann who directed me to send photos of the door and damages so he could determine exactly what was necessary to correct the problem. He told me they had to special order a replacement screen which would take about 4 weeks. The replacement was installed as promised on (8/23/20) at no cost to me. Ive purchased Front and Back storm doors and an oversized Patio door from them. This company does an excellent job and truly lives up to their promise of excellent products - workmanship and service. Just the kind of place you want to give your business to.

Gary and Mike are the best! Gary was able to show me exactly what my new entry way would look like with the new front door. he had samples and color swatches for every style and color and answered all of my questions. 4 weeks later (almost half the time quoted), Mike showed up and was 100% professional. he got right to work and gave us a detailed rundown of how all the new hardware worked. the whole process was totally painless and when Mike left, he cleaned up the whole area so you couldnt even tell any work had been done! any time i need more work done on my windows or other doors, Gary and Next Door will be at the top of my list!!

Found them via google, called and made appt. They were great on the phone and scheduled the appointment. Showed up on time, gave a thorough and detailed quote which seemed reasonable and competitive. They had to check on a window permitting issue and said he would get back to me with the final quote. That was on a Friday and I never heard back. I did received 3 follow up emails but never the updated quote. I also sent emails wondering where my quote was and they finally responded via call saying the quote probably went to spam (it didnt). I’m giving 3 stars because they were great up until forgetting about me. I know theyre busy but over a week later?

I would have loved to give you guys a 5 star review but I did run into a little problem with communication with when I would get the install or when the rest of my screens would be back. Frank and his guys are the heart and soul of the company and they work very hard for them the do get 5 stars the sales man was great he did show us all our options with was great but you have to work on telling people when there is a delay or other problems or when a bad window gets installed due to shipping and you are waiting for the replacement oh wait still waiting with no ideal whwn im getting it only god knows!

Next Door Window is Awesome. My parents home was built in 1958. With a large double entry door way. So from start to finish. Took 9 weeks. My parents were so happy it was getting done. Our installer was not only courteous but very clean. The doors are perfect. Not only do they work perfect but look great.Would like to thank everyone one at NDW for a wonderful experience.

I would put 10 stars if it were an option. From the moment we met with Amer and the sales team I knew these guys were thorough. He not only educated us about our options he also painstakingly measured 25 windows in my house to give me an accurate quote without coming back later with add ons like a lot of these firms often do. He also explained the process of completely sealing off each window as they do the installation and the precautions taken due to lead paint since we live in a very old house with young children. I wouldn’t have trusted this job to just anybody. This was zero pressure even though we spent a lot of time deciding. Once we made our decision they kept us informed every step of the way and finally on the week of installation Frank came with his crew and made this all happen beautifully with as little interference in our lives as possible. Our house was built in 1871 and I admit I couldn’t understand how they would take out very old windows without something going wrong, but the end result was beautiful new windows that look like they have always been there. We almost considered moving because our house was so old and drafty but now that it’s getting cold out we can feel the difference is night and day with these windows. No more blankets and sweaters, no warm spots and cold spots. David came to touch up the paint, they cleaned up and left the place cleaner than they found it. I don’t usually write reviews but I was beyond impressed with these guys.
