DO NOT USE!!! Even if Lowes recommends them, DO NOT USE!The women was rude scheduling the appointment and when asked to kindly repeat (due to her thick accent) she hung up. The technician was rude did not listen to how the problem I have happens. Simple turned on the over at bake 350 for the over to pre-heat and said It works.My issue wasnt that my oven cant preheat, but the handle gets overheated after about using it for about an hour.He wanted me to sign the paper work that there was no issue. I denied by signature.Lets see what Lowes will do.

Jenny called to apologize for their personalities but denied any responsibility for the damage they did. They did replace the compressor on our refrigerator which shouldn’t fail after 3 years but the door is now misaligned and they say it is not covered by the warranty even though they caused the damage. LG should stop recommending this 3rd party service!! DO NOT USE!!

Awful customer service. It is really annoying LG uses this company for their warranty repairs. I would never use them if i had a choice. I agree with most of the other reviews and had similar experiences. I had to call 3 times to get someone out to fix my fridge after filing a claim. The tech came out and had no idea how to fix it and had to call LG. When he realized he didnt have the tools he needed he said he would be back in a few days... he never came back and after contacting LG they said the claim was closed and complete. I had to reopen the claim and L Electronics took 2 weeks to get the tech back out. He was still unable to fix the issue and i am back dealing with LG. Extremely dissatisfied...

L Electronics was the first company we were referred to when our LG fridge stopped cooling. Not only was the lady who answered the phone to set up an appointment extremely rude, she never called us ANY of the times to confirm appointments. We had to use them 3 times before requesting a different company through LGs warranty service. And one of the times they cancelled due to snow, which was cleared away by 10am, with an appointment at 1pm. They then had to reschedule for the following week, even though it was only Tuesday. Through the process with LG warranty, the last step was to have a technician come out and deem the refrigerator unrepairable. We have A&E which was used by the warranty service replace 7 parts of the fridge, stating the inside was basically brand new now. L Electronics told me we would have to replace the newly installed parts, and that I would have to be the one to call and order them and then reschedule. When I asked to speak with a supervisor as I was following the warranty process, he refused, gave me the basic LG warranty customer service number and left.If not for their affiliation with LG warranty, they would not be in business due to their incompetence and unprofessionalism.

The lady who picked up the phone is very rude and her English is limited. My fridge is brand new and LG gave me this number to call. Because it’s still under warranty. The lady told me $60 at the door then $80 each hour. Obviously they just want the money yet this service is covered by LG as I was told by their representative.

L Electronics customer service is the worst I have ever encountered. This company was referred to us by LG to repair our washer. A service representative by the name of Tina was extremely rude, unprofessional, and had very poor communication skills. For these reasons, we requested to speak to the manager in hopes of getting our concerns across. The manager failed to answer our questions and hung up on us mid conversation stating “I have to go. Ok, bye”. L Electronics never sent out a technician and rejected our claim without explanation.Based on the rating and the comments provided by previous customers, this store has a reputation of terrible service across the board. LG contracts this company to provide service to their customers and they are giving them a bad reputation by treating their customers with utmost disrespect. I am reporting this company to LG so they can become aware of the terrible service they consistently provide.

I see the other reviews but have to say I had a very different experience. LG completely screwed me over and their customer service was horrible. I worked with L Electronics and they fixed my fridge. Came out a day earlier than planned, which was great, as I had already been without my fridge for A week due to LG. The tech was very pleasant and helpful. He did the work, cleaned up after himself and made sure I was happy. The work was covered under the LG warranty and he went on his way.

Worst customer service, extremely rude and angry Chinese employees! I shouldve known when I initially called because even the lady on the phone had an attitude....Anyways, the tech came to our home to fix ice machine in our LG refrigerator. He walked in, probably pressed a test button, which confirmed that the ice machine wasnt working and started writing out a receipt for $105. The guy was here for less than 5 min. My fiance called me right away, she put the guy on the phone and I asked him whats wrong with the ice machine? He told me the whole thing needs to be replaced. I asked him approximately how much will it be for a part and asked whether its really necessary to replace the whole thing or maybe he can replace the broken part (whatever that part is). He told me he doesnt know the price and everything needs to be replaced to which I replied thats crazy that you have to replace everything, charging me $105 for less than 5 min, and cant even give me approximate pricing of new ice machine + labor cost to replace it. His reply was fix your own machine and hung up the phone. I called my fiance and told her not to pay him a single penny and kick him out of our house.I shouldve looked at these reviews first before calling these people, but had no doubt that a reputable company like LG would use these people to service their products. Will be calling LG tomorrow morning.

Our LG fridge stopped cooling after 2.5 years. I called LG and was given a ref number. I called the phone number that was given by LG (of L Electronics) and setup an appointment. Ted, the tech came out and replaced the compressor and dryer unit in about 2 hours. Fridge is back to new like cooling.

This is the WORST repairing company I ever had to dealt with. My LG refrigerator was not cooling so I called LG customer service and they referred me to L electronics. First, their tech guy came out and said that I needed to get the compressor replaced. So I told him do whatever you need to do to fix the unit. He came back in 2 weeks to put new compressor in. Then, first few days the unit worked fine but after that it stopped cooling again. This happened to me like 4 time over the 5 months period, where the guy will come in and do something and unit works for few days then goes back to not cooling again. Their technicians didnt understand what I was saying nor would they tell me what was actually wrong with my unit because of the language barrier. I ended up wasting $400 and some dollars plus 5 months. Also, it was hell to schedule service every time because their representative would tell me that they will return call to tell me the service time but would never do. Eventually, I called the LG customer service again and this time they sent one of their technicians who fixed my unit in the first attempt. DO NOT RECOMMEND L electronics!!!!

L Electronics came out to my house with a contract from a home warranty company. My washing machine was not working. I was told put smaller loads in! I explained to him that that is not an answer to my issue and putting smaller loads in is not worth my $100 trade call fee. I paid them as part of my contract (wrote a check) and my home warranty company sent out someone else. L electronics CASHED my check (this was in March 2016) in September 2016 they called the home warranty company and told them that I did not pay them and I was charged another $100. I showed my home warranty a copy of the check that L electronics cashed. They tried to not only rip me off but get me suspended from my home warranty. Dont they know that you can view deposited checks online? COMPLETELY dishonest, not trust worthy. I would NEVER allow them back in my house. EVER! Be careful they will steal your money!

Horrible. Tech was here this morning. Less than 10 minutes. Not one tool or gauge used. Didnt check wiring. Put his hand in my freezer and said its working. Really? Showed him the light in fridge how it dims but then next time you open the door its bright. Showed him the melting ice - he took it and threw it in my sink. Told him the food had thawed in freezer and had to throw half of it away. My husband told him its probably the circuit board. He claims not---how would he know since he didnt even look at the circuit board and put a meter or gauge on it!!!!!How do you determine there is nothing wrong in less than 10 minutes and not using any gauges, checking wiring, etc.????? HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE!!!!!

We had no issues with L Electronics. They came into our house - they were very neat and professional. They replaced the compressor in our 4 year old Whirlpool fridge. We were very happy with the service from L Electronics. I would recommend L Electronics.

Worst experience of all / an the lady on phone VERY RUDE / NEED TO GO OUT OF BUSINESS ASAP ... NO customers skill service at all !!! Do not use these guys. They came out to fix our LG washer since they were the company LG told us to use. Was told in limited English we had a broken drum (which was under warranty) and this was also indicated on the receipt. Next day we get a phone call that there are other parts needed that are not under warranty and itll be over $200 to fix (plus the $105 we paid for them to come out the first time). I dont know what changed between the engineer being here and the phone call... its not as if they took the machine away to look at it. My guess is they were out to make some more money. As for complaining to LG themselves... forget it. They took my complaint and indicated it would be investigated but that I wouldnt hear anything back from them. I guess I wont be buying any more LG products.

They dont care about the customer or their reputation period. They deserve nothing but bad reviews. They are contractor for LG warranty. Together, they deny to fix the same issue came out within 60 days of they service, because by their count (starts from the day I called them not the actual date service was provided), its 61 days. Really?!?!

After making useless trips in order to make money off of me, the repair guy cleaned the fans of the compressor cooler and left stating that the fridge is fixed. I payed him 170 dollars for the work and thanked him. Next day I find out the fridge is still not working and was just wrongfully charged 170 dollars. I called them to take another look and they came and charged me another 120 dollars for replacing the fan motor. Still, the fridge did not work. I called another technician to look at it and all signs pointed to a faulty compressor. So these guys either dont know what theyre doing or theyre scamming like no other. Please do yourself a favor and call another tech center because most likely these people will just take your money and not fix your problem. Horrible service. NEVER NEVER CALL THEM!!

This is the worst repair company Ive ever dealt with. My repair guy tried to fix the motor on my 2 yr old samsung dryer. Two trips and still not fixed. Actually made it worse. Repair guy wouldnt even address the new noise while putting it back together. Now they have to come back to replace the motor AND blower wheel because the guy tightened the bolt instead of loosening the nut on the wheel. Seizing the wheel in place. Took him 40 min to get thw bolt off and another 40 to mess with the wheel. 3 or 4 phone calls later he gave up and put it back together. Said he would be back for a third trip to replace it. I believe he even brought the wrong motor.

Terrible experience. Very hard to understand. Tech came out once and said everything was fixed. Our washer problem was worse than before when he arrived... We have been over 2 weeks without a washer.... Hope we never have to do anything ever again with them... Terrible

My Samsung refrigerator was not freezing properly and melting all my food. I explained the urgency of the repair and L Electronics sent their tech the next day! They fixed my freezer under an hour. Their prices were the lowest compared to the other 2 repair shops I called for estimates.Support local businesses!

I usually only type up my good experiences. I hate leaving bad reviews, but this one has to be shared. I took in my Nikon Coolpix camera because the shutter button wasnt working. When I went in I had a little trouble getting the persons (two) at the counter to understand what I was saying but once they took the camera and tried to take a picture the problem became obvious. A couple of days later I received a call that the camera was fixed and that I could come pick it up. At the shop I was able to take a picture with the camera and assumed that the problem was fixed. I paid them the $150 they charged me to fix the problem and went home. When I got a chance to play with the camera a bit more I realized that the shutter button was extremely tight. I couldnt get it to auto focus when you press the button halfway down like it usually did, it just took a picture right away. I took the camera back and it was impossible to get them to understand what the issue was. They kept showing me that the camera took pictures. I would tell them I know. When I tried to explain that the problem was with the auto focus he kept telling me see, it wont take pictures if its not focused, to which I replied I know. No matter how many ways I tried to explain the problem they kept showing me how the camera took pictures. I took my camera and left. I dont know if the people there are fantastic repair people or not, but if we cant understand each other how can I make my needs known? Im going to have to take my camera somewhere else and hope that they can fix the new problem...and spend more money. I feel robbed.

Through my HWA I called this company. Part I needed was going to take 5 business days took 9, then they wouldnt come out after 4. They close at 5 are in Arlington Heights and Im in Elk Grove and that wouldnt work for them. Then when I made the appt for 3 (left work early) they didnt have my appointment anymore when my appointment day came. Called my HWA and had to make another appointment with a new vendor. I NEVER write reviews, figure everyone has off days, but to have off weeks? Please dont use these people!!!

I went to L Electronics to fix the autofocus on my Sigma lens. When I explained the issue to them, I was assured that it could be fixed because the repair man worked with Canon for 30 years. In addition, they also wanted to calibrate the lens to the body of my Canon 7D Mark II. The camera was in fine condition when I left it with them, but they remarked that it was in bad shape and that they had to make necessary repairs to the camera body, too. They made claims that I dropped the camera or the CF card slot was damaged with a hammer. Neither of those accusations were true, but I was charged $800 in total for a repair! It cost $600 to replace the autofocus on my lens and then an additional $200 for repairs on my camera body. This business is a definite scam, especially since they only accept payments in cash or check. I will never do business with this company again.

I called about a tv problem I had with an lg tv I purchased and lg referred me to this place. I got on a call with then someone answered and instantly transferred me to someone else and then I could not understand the lady talking nor could she understand me. Terrible service
