They have been my electronics dealer for over 15 years.They carry Sonos, Martin Logan, KEF, Dali, Sony, and other products.Unlike other dealers, they let you try their products at home beforeyou buy and they take your old electronics in trade toward your purchase.Staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. They have helped me build a top notch sound system. No high pressure sales techniques from them.They let the products sell themselves. I recommend them most highly.

Sleezy salesman. Sold us 2 Sonos ARC soundbars. Never told us Sonos doesnt support DTS sound (which most DVD, BluRay & Ultra 4k exclusively use - thus left with using TV speakers only when watching movie collection.) I spoke with the sleezy salesman by phone and he admitted he wouldnt tell a customer that the Sonos doesnt support DTS unless the customer specifically asked - obviously the info would be a sales killer. Yet the sleezy salesman is the expert and the customer is the novice. I purchased a new Sony sound bar (supports DTS, etc.) from a competitor after the phone conversation. I would give zero stars if it was possible.

Each and every time I go to sound world I get great service. The employees are friendly and are not pushy on selling you something. They also have a good variety of televisions and speakers on display. I would recommend stopping by before visiting the box stores.

Superior customer service! I have a teenage son who is very into electronics and he is actually quite knowledgable. Some places disregard him, but he has always been treated with respect at Sound World, especially from Paul. Apparently Paul is amazing, and that is high praise from a teen! The service and post-purchase support that has been provided far exceeds what we would see from any big box retailer.

I set up an appointment to have them hook up an amplifier and woofer which I had removed from my last car before selling it, to the stock stereo of my current car. They told me it would take 3 hours and it only took 2 hour and 15 minutes. After the job was completed and I was able to look over the work once I got the car back to my garage I saw that the wiring and mounting of the amplifier was meticulously and professionally done. I also spoke to the dedicated installer before leaving and he thoroughly explained what, how, and why he wired up everything the way he did. I would also like to say that the couple members of the staff of whom I spoke to extensively during my wait were very very knowledgeable about the stereo components they sell as well as the evolutionary advancement of stereo technology. These guys run a first rate operation and know their stuff ! Highly recommended.

Sound World, you cant delete me here...Your technician blew the channel in my factory stereo head deck whether he is willing to admit it or not. Dont worry. Ive had to replace that at my own expense, but I got a great deal on a used one as that is all I can afford. Youve tried to rip me off when I tried to get my money back, Paul Kietzman, salesman from Appleton. Shall I show the public your receipt that I called you out on, Paul Kietzman?? No, you wouldnt like that, Im certain.The installation of the stereo (minus the part where your technician blew my left front speaker channel on the head deck and is trying to hide it) sounded EVEN WORSE than the factory stereo I was running from. I paid $740 for it to sound worse??? Youve GOT TO BE KIDDING ME!! YOU CAN DELETE MY COMMENTS TO TRY TO SHUT UP THE BLONDE LADY YOU HAVE TAKEN ADVANTAGE OF ALL YOU WANT TO. TO THE PUBLIC PEOPLE I WISH TO WARN, when Sound World ruins your equipment and tries to hide it, or when the salesperson is only concerned about making the sale and isnt concerned about whether or not itll work for the customer, or when they hide from what theyve ruined in your car, its time to go somewhere else. You, my friends at Sound World in Appleton, will be reported to the Better Business Bureau unless one of your higher ups calls me to make this right. Paul Kietzman, and also Isaiah, (I think thats the installers name) you are trying to cover your deceit, and I dont think its you who should be responding to this post anymore to make it right, as your attempts should be better placed where they belong... At ripping off the poor people who dont know anything about the installation process but just want it to sound nice. Id imagine any attempt to work this out should be made by your bosses or the person responsible for the store, because your attempts at plausible deniability are unacceptable. All youve done thus far is fuel the fire. You have both lied. You have both cheated. I dont care to hear what either of you has to say. Is there anyone reasonable that I can talk to so I dont feel taken advantage of again??

Best place for car stereo work in town!

Purchased a very expensive piece of equipment and never used it (gift for a family member). Brought it back a few years later to get it tuned up (as it did not work) and was told that it was worthless. No warranty from company and no backing from store, even though store tech agreed it was still in new condition. Several hundred dollars down the drain and no concern or help/offer from Sound World. I will never go back.
