This place is always fun to wonder through. I usually find something useful at a great price. Some of the prices are getting a little ridiculous. Ive watched the price of the flooring and carpet just keep soaring to the point where youre better off going to a big box store. Its a great business motto and benefits a good cause. But like most nonprofit organizations, I have to wonder how much goes to actually building houses for the needy.

All Habitat Restores never disappoint! We all have that project or thing that just needs that one little part or screw...thats where the Restore comes in. Walk the asiles and you never know what you will find. Front smart home products on the cheap, almost new appliances or even a one of a kind vintage lamp that you just have to have because its $10 and orange tags are 75% off that week. YES, just like Goodwill, Habitat Restores also have a color for the week. But unlike Goodwill they have a 25%, 50% and 75% off color every week. That helps keep inventory fresh and always something new to find!

The ReStore is not just used light switches and scraps of lumber anymore. These days they have plenty of new things along with the used. Paint brushes, roller covers, hinges, spray paint, rugs, the variety is amazing, and of course always changing.

A lot of their merchandise seems way over priced, like the furniture or flooring. Other things like cabinet/drawer pulls, door knobs, small hand tools are reasonably priced though. However, if youre not a middle aged Male / Senior citizen you arent treated like a valued customer. Ive noticed the workers tend to be quite rude to me in comparison.

J
Review №28

Prices are outrageous on more than a few items! My understand they are donated items and the workers are volunteers and its all to help the community, That big money has to be going to someones pockets. Lobe the concept and the volunteers, bit when your reselling a used/damaged or incomplete item, it shouldnt be around 80%-90% of the cost at the big box stores. They are selling quantity not quality and the prices should reflect that. I see the same stuff there since pre-covid. Anywho... Thank you to all that donate and thank you to the hard working volunteers !!

Great place to buy new and used items for your home. If your looking for a certain base board, tile at a really reasonable price, stoves, refrigerators, freezer, yard equipment. Look here first before you go and purchase expensive items. This place is really helpful for those last minute forgotten items. I have purchased just about all my yard equipment here. Its used but still in great shape and at inexpensive prices. Looking for a door, they have them, looking for a window frame, they have them. Paint, brushes, handle for cabinets, they have them. Definitely a place to recommend.

Review №75

Their prices used to be good, but now just about everything is severely overpriced. Used doors cost the same or more than new ones from the local big box stores. Carpet remnants also cost more than the big box stores. Ive even seen well used power tools priced higher than they cost brand new. I used to go here a lot, but now its almost always a waste of time.
