I needed a new vehicle, but wasnt entirely sure of what I wanted. I talked to the sales manager, Brandon, at Cousineau Cars and after going over a few different options, and what my needs were, he finally recommended a Subaru Impreza on their lot. It turned out that was the perfect fit for me! They had a great deal on the vehicle and made the buying process quick and painless. Ill definitely recommend anyone to check out Cousineau, and talk to Brandon, if they need a new ride!

Best car buying experience Ive ever been involved with. Brandon was amazing to work with. He was laid back and easy going, but that doesnt mean he was complacent. When my credit union wouldnt approve my loan, he secured financing through another lender. I will definitely buy from Cousineau Cars again.

Buying from Cousineau turned out to be a huge fraud. They have no problem cheating you if they think there is a way to succeed in doing so.My wife and I bought what was promised to us to be a clean titled vehicle from them at full retail price just to find out later is was a salvage. We offered to settle with them for the difference between a clean and salvaged vehicle, but they refused saying it was our fault for not knowing what we were doing. This is the level of honesty and integrity you can expect from Brandon, and Bill at Cousineau cars. I would Highly recommend that you buy from a reputable dealer, and steer clear of these cheats. They have no problem looking you in the eye, smiling, and shaking your hand as they steal your money. The long story:My wife and I purchased a vehicle from Cousineau early in 2019. We were told by Brandon that there was slight front end damage that they (Cousineau) had repaired. He told us that the title was clear and after Cousineau had completed the repairs it was brought to a certified Nissan dealer and fully inspected. We were assured the remaining factory warranty was fully intact and the vehicle was 100%. After waiting a few weeks for the title to transfer to MN we received a letter from the DMV stating that the vehicle was a salvage and needed to be inspected before the title would be granted to us. We brought my vehicle to a local Nissan dealer and asked them about any history and remaining factory warranty. We were told by Nissan that the vehicle had no remaining warranty because it was totaled the year before. We called Brandon to ask about all this and was told that Cousineau was not responsible for knowing the laws in every state that is not Wisconsin (were Cousineau is based). We were told that this was our problem not theirs. At this point Brandon handed this mess off to Bill Cousineau the owner. We told Bill that the MN DMV would change the status of the title if the Insurance company which sold Cousineau the vehicle stated that this vehicle was NOT a salvage. After many weeks of asking Bill if there was any progress he supplied me with a letter from the insurance company stating that the vehicle was indeed totaled with over 70% of the vehicles value in repair costs. We contacted the Wisconsin DMV and explain the situation to them. They said that the title SHOULD have been branded as a salvage and could not explain how this had not happened. Bill, claimed that he had no way of knowing that the vehicle was a salvage because the title was clear. Obviously he knew full well exactly what he was doing. He was aware that the title was unbranded but should have been based on the information from the insurance company when he bought the vehicle from them. The insurance company clearly stated the amount of damage when the vehicle was sold to him. Cousineau, used this mistake as an opportunity to sell a salvage vehicle at full price, and if caught in the scheme they have an out saying, We didnt know it was a salvageOn top of this. Cousineau does very poor work in preparing to sell a vehicle. They replaced the front brakes but left the rear brakes nearly out of pad. Also, they did not charge the AC system. Being that we bought the vehicle in the winter we have no way of knowing the AC did not work until summer. Anyway they can squeeze a dollar out of the customer they will. This is what you can expect from Bill Cousineau and his ilk. I fully expect to see a reply from him to this review. See for yourself if his response has an ounce of sincerity, or nothing but empty excuses.

I contacted Brandon at Cousineau Cars in Appleton Wi hoping to find a safe and affordable vehicle for my daughter and granddaughter. He explained the title situation and the types of vehicles they sell. He held nothing back. We found a wonderful car with low mileage for more than $4000 less than any dealer up north PLUS they stand by their cars with a 12 mo/12000mi warranty!!! We had a small air conditioning issue the day we got it home and Brandon and the Service manager made it right with 0 out of pocket!!!What a deal! I would highly recommend Cousineau Cars for all of your pre owned vehicle needs. Go see Brandon and he will hook you up!!! Service there is beyond great!!!
