So earlier today (10/18) I had contacted the staff at party city because my daughter misplaced her phone and we thought it might be at party city. Over the phone and when I went to the store the staff was very pleasant and helpful and really appreciate them with their assistance during our search. On top of that, when we had been there on Saturday we were able to find the costume items my daughter wanted for Halloween and it was a great experience.

Friday at 4 oclock was busy. The people working here were doing the best that they could. One young lady was not feeling well at all but still hung in there! In todays environment it is refreshing to see good work.

Very dirty and not maintained at all. Just kids running the place. Way over priced.

Horrible experience...the line was out the door. The guys behind the counter didnt seem to care as they work on balloons only for online customers. I watched 4 customer leave their stuff and leave the store. Ill most likely drive an extra 20min out of my way just to avoid this place. I hope ur company reads these reviews if you want to keep up with the time and keep making money cause this crew is just letting it leave the door.

Jim the manager is always very helpful and cheerful! He as well as other employees and managers at that location consistently offer excellent customer service. They seem to really care about your event and getting you what you would like. When comparing shopping Amazon or other stores this is the place. The staff was helpful in assisting me in getting something down from a higher shelf but I was surprised they had not refilled the lower accessible shelves since I had been in a day or two earlier. There is merchandise being stored above that could come down. They are missing out on sales if people dont notice the stock above and its not brought down where there is space. And people, like myself, are looking for the supplies. Thanks!

I wish things werent so expensive, but they usually have a lot of options. This past week a lot of the shelves were empty. Someone said it was because they didnt have people to stock shelves.

Walked in, choose two pre-packaged number balloons, for my daughters 25th birthday. We saw another balloon, on display, that we asked them to inflate, so we could purchase--a simple task that wouldnt have taken two minutes. There were two employees inflating balloons. They refused our request because they were too busy, and they suggested we stop by HyVee, to see if they could accommodate us. They did, however, immediately check out the two packaged balloons. We were the only ones at register. 🤔 Next time, well take their advice and try HyVee!

Still a lot of costumes left, a bit short staffed but very helpful!! Got a costume for less than I was expecting!

They didn’t get our online order with 2.5 hours to prepare. Then when my in-laws went to go pick up the order, they said it wasn’t ready. It took an hour for them to fix it, and then accused my in-laws of not paying for the balloons to be inflated. Now six of the balloons are so deflated that they don’t stay up. I’m so done with them. Once you accused us of not paying for inflation, I was done.

They never answer the phone

The store itself is quite outdated and not a very inviting place to be. I havent generally had great experiences with the employees, theyre not exactly cheery or seem happy to be there. Items are cheap, which is great.

This place has seriously gone down hill ever since Cody left. He was the only person in the store who made things happen for us customers. This store lost a lot of business. Including mine!

They have everything imaginable! Ive come here for M&Ms in a specific color, a hat for a womens party, multiple dress-up items for the kids (tons of fun hats!) and of course for Halloween costumes. They have a wall of costume cards divided into girls, boys, adult women and adult men. You scan a QR code on the wall, allow location tracking, and then put in the costume # and choose your size. Enter your name, submit, and within 5 minutes, someone comes out from the back and hands you your costumes to try on if you wish. They tend to run a little small, so I highly recommend trying them on before you leave. The dressing rooms are not available due to Covid, but you can just step off to the side and have them try it on over their clothes. My size 12 girl fit snugly in a 14-16, my size 10 girl in a 12-14, and my size 8 girl in an 8-10, so think a size bigger.

I like going in here but on Saturday they had a lot of order and they couldnt inflate my bollons, so I had to go to another location. Also they had a display of a bollon that I wanted but they didnt have it 😒

There was a line to check out (5 customers) and the person at the front of the line was purchasing a lot of balloons; there was only one working cashier. Yet, another worker was pre occupied with emptying new product boxes next to the cashier area. We (people in line) waited and waited and finally a young worker came from the back after about ten minutes. Horrible customer service.

Great price...Online ad said 🎉 2.99 for 12.00 and store was 3.99 for 12.

I appreciate the availability of items at this store however the staff doesnt seem to have it together, at least not the ones that I had experience with. I understand being new, but when you arent sure how to do something, its better to ask than to assume. Doing it wrong then having to do it again correctly is time consuming for both the customer and yourself.. My issues were resolved eventually but not without some frustration.

If u dont have a Ballon in stock find a way to cover the ones on display. 3diff ones I asked about they didnt have. Nor store close by when computer said they did

Busy and good selection but the kids at the checkout counter are not well trained to handle all the questions and explanations on delayed orders it seems. Spent about a half hour in line on a Friday afternoon!

Got a couple mylar balloons here. Service was quick and friendly despite me not ordering ahead. Amazingly, 2 weeks in, one of the balloons is still touching the ceiling.

I want to thank Sam for making the curbside pickup experience excellent. He was friendly, helpful and extremely professional. I spoke with him several times trying to plan for my daughter’s birthday. He was generous with his time and offered the ideal customer service, especially during this time when we are not able to shop in person. He made the experience stress-free. Thank you!!

For a Halloween selection this year it was pretty slim and very disorganized! All other party needs it was ok. Very short staffed at the checkout line all the way to the entrance.

This location didnt have much selection on childrens party decorations. Most of the shelves had very little on them or were completely empty. The staff was very friendly.

Most of the time I do not have a problem. The staff is friendly and trying to do their best.That being said, I was heavily disappointed upon finding they only had two staff members at the registers on the day of Halloween. They were both very sweet but obviously they were failed by their management. Hopefully they do better next year.

This place has amazing prices to decorate your home on all occasions, just bought tons of items for Halloween for a very low prince, must come and see for yourself. Thank you PartyCity

My son wanted a wrestling birthday party and I couldnt find stuff without having to ordering online. Love party City, they had everything I needed and it was all in one spot. Also, I like how they organize the stores, easy to find what your looking for!

We had some balloons filled for our daughters birthday party and they are reasonably priced. There wasnt a huge wait to get them filled either. Typically we get most of our party supplies here as they have a pretty good selection. Would definately recommend to others for party needs.

They kind of had what I needed, but didnt have a huge selection. I just needed some birthday stuff for my wife and some balloons. If its not themed or for a child there wasnt really a selection. I got what I liked from there selection and moved up to the counter. There was only one cashier and one person doing balloons. It took about 30 minutes to get everything taken care of from being fourth in line in the check out to getting my balloons. And the checkout took the longest. The guy was super slow, never called for a second cashier and kept completing order and then going oh you wanted this too? Fine. Somehow he literally missed something that was sitting on the counter with everything else. With almost every customer. At one by the time I got through the line there were about 12 other people behind me. On a Friday morning.Would I go back? Probably. Because theyre the closest to me. Would I recommend them? Eh, not really if there is somewhere else you can go. Was it the worst experience ever? No, just kind of irritating.

Great selection of costumes gets you 4 stars.3 stars for changing rooms I think by now you could update them some.

The staff have been very friendly, the store is usually well stocked. The bags they use now, though, are very perfumed. This is VERY disappointing, because any item in the bag ( including items to be used for food - plates, plastic ware, napkins ) absorb the perfume scent from the bag !! Please go back to unscented bags.

We are not huge fans of party city. We needed some helium for a halloween costune... the jumbo tank was 49 bucks. We went to walmart and it. Was 29 there. We also needed 500 paper wristbands. Party city charges 75 dollars for this ...yes you heard me right. At Lintin in Minneapolis we get that amount for around 25 plus tax. We throw events so need supplies often and party city is always much higher than the other options. They are always our last resort.

First of all, I went to Party City to get my dearest mother a happy birthday balloon because I’m such a great daughter. It was not busy there at all, IN FACT we were the only ones there. There was absolutely no line and the girl asked me what balloons I wanted and I told her. The whole time she was getting my balloons ready she was rushing for no reason at all. And THEN she doesn’t even ask me if they are floor balloons or how high I want the balloons to be meanwhile she is rushing. We then proceeded to check out and she doesn’t cut the strings shorter nor ask us if we want a weight for the balloons, so then I ask her if we can get a clip for the balloons and then she had the AUDACITY to tell me that they don’t have them and that I would have to get a weight. And did I forget to mention that she didn’t even ask us if we wanted a bag for a balloons. We left the store very unhappy with our purchase thank you.

No wonder so many of their locations are closing. I purchased $50 worth of balloons online - not only were they not ready (not even blown up) at pickup time, but half of them deflated before I got home from my 15 minute drive. I called the manager the next day and got no apology, only excuses. Terrible customer service and obviously poor quality items. I will not return.

Kayla was beyond rude. After spending over $60 on balloons the service and attitude was unreal. I had to ask for anchors and a bag. Three Transactions later. . They didn’t suggest those to a person blowing up over 10, some even huge balloons. She popped two of my balloons that I paid for and didn’t even apologize. I had to ask her to compensate me on those she damaged. She told me to pick two under the register. I asked her about a product showing online and she said “well we don’t have it so” no sorry no empathy. I told her I’d be contacting her manager and she said have fun. Seriously a horrible attitude. I also heard her giving a lady who didn’t speak very clear English trouble. She told her “ ma’am i can’t understand you” no effort into helping her find her items. Kayla is horrible.

Do NOT get their hifloat balloons!! Ive gotten them elsewhere and theyve always lasted a couple of days. This was the first time Ive gotten them from Party City and they SUCKED!!! Not only were they overpriced but some started drooping after 4 hours and most were almost to the floor by 8 hours. Their sign says they last 8-10 hours. I guess technically they stayed off the ground for that time, but thats just ridiculous. Ive had better luck with regular helium balloons from the dollar store. Sorry Party City, youve lost the only business youll ever get from me. Your quality sucks and prices are too high. Ill stick to Michaels, Hobby Lobby, and A.C. Moore for my party supplies. Just like the name says, a party supply store. They keep a good amount of branded stuff on hand for a party. I was in need of a Harry Potter cauldron and found one there (in February).
