By far the worst grocery store in Apex. They are always out of everything; the produce, bagged salad and vegetables are never fresh; prices are high; they have sales to push bad product like coke with no carbonation. Convenient location but doesn’t matter if you are always out of everything. Employee Dean is the best part of this location and sadly, works the gas portion most days. Hire more folks like him and improve your ordering/stock levels on popular item that regularly sell out…..

In the triangle you have a large selection of grocery stores. But this is by far my favorite. The bakery is delicious. Want a beer while you shop? Who doesnt?!? Also they have the best selection of beer that Ive found. They have a great selection of other products. No qualms with anything at this store.

Im a delivery driver and one of the workers a young man brought groceries out and I watched him be very gentle with the bread and eggs when placing them in the car. Now thats good customer service. Keep up the good work!!

Today I found one of their mousetraps, with a live mouse stuck to it. I am so upset with the inhuman pest control tactics they are using! If I hadn’t found that mouse it most likely would’ve starved to death while stuck to the sticky trap they used. I understand the need for pest control, but please go about it in a manner that does not allow an animal to suffer.

Friendly staff, clean store, nice selection, fair prices. We shop here weekly. They have a nice bakery, seafood and fresh meat selection. The produce section is well stocked and they have a gas station.

This is a really nice grocery, if you havent been there yet. Definitely an impressive craft beer section, including kegs, compared to HT and Pblx. The produce is always very good and I love their bakery sweets selection.

We were able to shop while sipping our wine/beer from Beer Den, without being hassled about wearing a mask. Thats why we shopped at the Apex Lowes vs the Cary Lowes. Sorry, Cary, you missed out on a $225.00 sale due to the mask mandate!

Dont bother going here. the only nice person i interacted with was a man at the deli counter. the two other employees that helped me were so rude.one of them acted like it was a burden to help me out for two seconds (the machine wasnt reading my card) not even bothering to tell me that another employee would help me finish my transaction. he just took the ticket and walked away to hand it to someone else and stood there chatting with her.that other employee couldnt be bothered to speak to me besides telling me the total amount i had to pay. i thanked her multiple times and nothing. im not saying they have to kiss the ground i walk on but a simple smile and a youre welcome goes a long way

I love Lowes. I normally buy all my produce and meats there, and you can find a lot of bargains for canned and prepared goods to. Typically never a line at the checkouts, good service and friendly staff.

Lowes foods is generally nice for some of its extra options. I really like the fresh sausage counter and the variety of spice flavors they offer. Also, the fresh herbs are really convenient. They also have a beer/wine counter if people want to have a drink while they shop, which is cool. It would be nice if they made something a little smoother or less shaky for the drinks, but I understand thats very difficult.

Love the service and the people that do the shopping are great

I just want Lowes customers to know that when they have their groceries delivered the delivery driver gets no tip we get $3.25 for delivering 40 50 60 items driving 10 miles or more sometimes and Lowes must keep the tip if youre tipping!

Very disappointed that Eli didnt want to bag our groceries. We had to ask him for help after he walked away and stood around. Then he put all our canned foods in one paper bag. We had to go back inside and ask for the manager. She said, Oh no! Thats not okay. When she picked up the bag, it tore and cans went everywhere. She replaced the damaged cans, rebagged the groceries properly and said the training issue would be dealt with. It wasnt a training issue, but it was a spectacle. Probably wont go back there.

WONDERFUL Smokehouse department.On the negative side it wasnt as friendly an environment as the Holly Springs store.Will definitely go back for the Smoked meats.

The only reason I am giving it one star is because of the service I received at the deli counter, eggs, and at the register by Jake. Every associate besides the 3 that helped me, seemed like they didnt want to be there or I was a nuisance by asking them where something was. I explained to Brandon the cashier 3 times that I was an Instacart shopper and the orders needed to be separated. Was I heard? No. He continued to just ring up whatever he wanted and acted like I was I the wrong when I corrected him and told them they had to go in a specific order. Besides the fact that I have OCD, my JOB requires the orders to be scanned in a specific order. Too many adolescents working here makes it like a high school cafeteria up front with them all joking around with each other. I will not be accepting any more orders for this location, nor will I shop here for myself. Absolutely horrendous experience.

I visited today first time to Lowes food. Im visiting from Boston. The best thing I like is their customer service. I have to ask three different people about some different items, as I dont go to grocery store to often. To my surprise all of these people are very friendly and respectful. They have very nice collection of beer and good cheap wine. I will visit again and explore more.

Quickly completed my Valentines Day shopping.

Lowes used to be one of my favorite go-to stores, but sadly, finding out that is not longer the case. I couldnt find the bacon I wanted, no precooked frozen sausages, no off brand refrigerator biscuits, only high-end sugar free ketchup (not all are created equal and cheapest was $5/ 16oz). They were out of Ms. Millies medium egg noodles, little things like this made it not enjoyable. The staff wore masks, but none sanitizing carts that I could see. Not sure there will be a next time for me, too many other grocery stores nearby. Great if you want a beer while shopping.

Solid Grocery store with an awesome Beer Den that has a huge selection. Never been to a grocery store other than this that serves beer while you shop and has a sit down bar in it. Shopping on Thursdays is a good choice because the beer and wine is half price. All I talked about in this review was Beer because thats what is unique about this store that other grocery stores dont do. It is just a grocery store after all.... You can get all the normal stuff you could anywhere.

Clean store. Friendly staff. But consistently need to check best by dates of dairy, eggs, and meat. I purchased eggs on 8/30/2019. I didnt look at the best by date, and I decided to make dinner a few days later to only discover the eggs were best before 8/17/2019. Ive seen it on eggs and meat, and this needs to be addressed by management.

Lowe’s Foods is a great grocery store to purchase brand names and even locally sourced dairy, and other items. The store is always clean and it almost feels like visiting a Farmers Market. The staff are amazing and seem to love their job.

Theyre better price than Harris teeter across the street. My favorite coffee, counterculture, is 1150 something at Harris teeter. Its on sale for 8:33 at Lowes foods. Not to mention I can drink a beer while I walk around the store

We had a bad experience shopping online to pick up in store on Apex, NC. First of all we chose to buy there because their site said they had toilet paper and paper towel available but that was not true (and their site still says they have it at this moment when they dont). Also, we allowed substitutions to our order but we received products that were NOT substitutes for what we ordered. We didnt see their call to say that almost all the products were replaced, before picking them up and In the end we tried to return some products because they were not at all what we wanted but they said it wasnt allowed. They didnt mention returns were not allowed anywhere before we purchased. In the end we paid way more for some products that they replaced and we didnt get the products we needed more. They should update their site to reflect their stock and should advise that the purchases are non returnable at this time even if they commit a mistake.

The best bakery in Apex. Kelly makes delicious and beautiful cakes. She always gives us what we want for our special cake orders, and she does it with a smile. The cakes are always fresh. I highly recommend! Thanks, Kelly!

I normally love going to Lowes Food. This store however has a VERY limited selection in the fresh deli case, and an even more limited selection of almond based milks and creamers. In addition, all of the products that I buy at my home location (about 30 mins North) are noticeably cheaper ($1-$2/item). To say I was disappointed would be an understatement.

I visited the day prior to Mothers Day, on a last minute hunt for flowers. After stopping by Target, Walmart and Food Lion (whose flowers may have been priced lower, yet the obvious reason was due to the poor quality) someone stopped and recommended Lowes Foods. Im so glad they did!! Even after the rush of early birds picked through, even only hours before the next day came, and only 4 minutes prior to LF closing, I found the most BEAUTIFUL bouquet of roses and arrangement of lilys!!

I love their baked goods ! Always clean and the staff is friendly.

They had the exact item I needed. Cashier was friendly and pleasant. Only issue I had was at gas station. I wanted to pay cash but there was no one in the booth.I walked back to my car to leave and then some entered the booth and turned on lights and assisted me.

Very disappointed today. Who puts chips in with chips and then milk wit bread. Baggers need to be trained. Very upset that my bread is flat and we spent over $350!!!! UNACCEPTABLE!!

This is my favorite grocery store to shop! It always looks beautiful with clean shelves and floors, new displays of flowers and end caps plus Beer and a cup holder. Why go anywhere else?!

One, hire employees who dont know how to roll their eyes when a customer needs assistance. Two, hire employees who dont make you feel stupid by staring at you after asking a question. First time I had been to a Lowes grocery store, definitely a step up from food Lion or Giant. Comprable to the newer Safeways and maybe just a little bit down from Wegmans. Had a great selection of all foods wines, beers and bakery goods

So I went into lowes foods tonight and they required masks but no one at the bar is wearing one. I asked the manager about it and he told me that you are only required to wear a mask if you are shopping. You dont have to wear one if you are drinking. WOW

They have beautiful flowers and customer service is great.

I love this grocery store! Great meat selection and the Sausage works is a cool idea for a side area of the meat department. I love the fresh cut produce area and who doesn’t love the idea of the a Beer Den where you can buy beer or wine and the walk around and shop! The staff is always helpful and I’ve never had to wait long to checkout. The prices can be a little on the pricey sides at times, but they run a lot of specials each week.

Today I was supposed to have interview with the hiring manager at a certain time and i was there before the time. The hiring manager doesn’t show up for 30 minuets so I decide to leave because I didn’t honestly expect that. Also, I didn’t get a phone call back from the manager to apologize for what happened! Not fair at all and this is really unacceptable. I really request talking to the hiring manager about this because I came looking for a job and that is not how applicants should be treated.

Never thought Id write a grocery store review but I do truly enjoy this Lowes Foods. They always have a race car grocery cart available- crucial for surviving the trip with 2 under 2. The produce section is like a farmers market, very fresh. Isles are wide and well labeled and they carry a fantastic selection of local products and beer. Staff is always amazingly friendly as well.

The staff here is amazingly helpful and makes you feel like family. They will go out of their way to make sure you get exactly what youre looking for, as well as have a great experience. All of the specialty departments are incredibly high quality and are well educated in their crafts.

Wow!!! Has everything.....unexpected beer bar. Hot foods, cold foods, specialty items, and grocery items. Could spend the day here. Wow!! Highly recommended!

Neighborhood grocery store with a great produce and deli section. They feature homemade sausage in the meat department and regularly offer good sales on meat. They offer a decent specialty food section, including gluten free options. Customer service is usually good.
