My husband and I had just moved into our first house together and we needed a new couch. This was the first place we went and we didnt even end up going anywhere else. The staff was kind, patient, and very knowledgeable. They even helped us think about how different couches would fit into our somewhat oddly shaped living room. We were fortunate enough to be able to have our couch delivered quickly and the delivery guys were nice and worked efficiently. We will definitely be going back for any future furniture needs!

Our current couch is 15 years old, so we decided it was time for an update!This place popped up on our search. With all the great reviews, it was a no Brainerd to check them out.The location itself is slightly tricky to find at first. Google says youve arrived before you can see the place. If youre traveling on 55 from North to South, turn right before the light and head down the hill.Inside is super nice with lots of different couches, tables, beds, etc. The layout is cool because you can see all the different setups and apply that to the model of couch you like.The staff was friendly, helpful, and patient.We made our decision quick- the first one we sat on ended up being the winner! Delivery is in 8 weeks, so Ill update this review when the couch arrives.

Bridgette was informative and helpful. When my mom asked questions, Bridgette went right away to research whatever wasnt already part of her extensive knowledge. The couch did come about 2 weeks after predicted, but it was worth the wait! My mom was at my apartment to receive the couch and said the guys who delivered and set it up were just great! Still waiting on a resolution for these chairs. Supposed to get a call today from a manager but, that did not happen. We ordered 4 other pieces and there has been issues with 3 of those. We have been patient through the ordering and waiting but, the quality of the pieces we received was not worth the wait.

The BEST!! Even with all of the shipping delays with covid our furniture arrived exactly when they promised us. They even called or emailed every couple of weeks to keep me updated on everything. Their prices were the best I found in the Raleigh/Durham area. Delivery was great as well. I was given a 3 hour delivery time frame and then received a text when they were about 30 minutes away. The delivery guys were awesome as well. Very professional and quick. If I could give Capital Discount Furniture 10 stars I would!!

Friendly staff, great service. Why pay for the big box when you can get the name brand here and save?We were greeted and helped, but never pressured. We were looking for a dual reclining sofa. Precisely what we wanted was not in stock and we had to wait a bit (its pandemic times, patience is important). I received confirmation the next day that estimated delivery was as expected (10-12 weeks in my case). They checked in again about 5 weeks in, to confirm the timeline remained. Then a call and email to schedule delivery. I was able to pick a time convenient for us. Delivery came on time, as expected with the same advance notifications you would want. We were very pleased.And then, a month after delivery, I received a text to check on my experience.The last great experience you have is the minimum expectation for your next experience. Capital Discount Furniture set the bar high.

Its better than you think. Great discount prices on name brand furniture. They have custom furniture where you can pick your fabrics and pillows. The sales people are very nice and dont hound you like in other stores. I give it a 5 because it had a good selection of living room, dining room, and bedroom furniture.

I would say a 4.5! The whole process was great until about the last month. We were receiving updates every 1.5-2 weeks, and then the last month we didnt hear anything until my wife called 11.5 weeks after ordering...which it was stated 2 of our pieces had arrived and they were waiting on the 3rd. Other than the absence of communication during that time period, everything else was fantastic and the delivery was awesome according to my wife. Furniture is just exactly what we wanted and needed for our bonus room. We may be back soon to spend our Black Friday voucher on the matching ottoman now that we see the space we have left.

The staff was friendly and knowledgeable and very communicative when there was a delay in our furniture due to the pandemic. The delivery and setup team was on time and very professional. We noticed a crack in our headboard right after setup and Capital Discount Furniture promptly ordered a new one and scheduled delivery and setup to swap out. We are now customers for life and looking forward to our next furniture purchase!

Amazing customer service! I ordered back in March and was quoted 8-12 week delivery for a sectional and cocktail table. I called once my date was coming up and they did not have my furniture ready yet. They explained that there had been a shortage on supplies and that the furniture was being delayed. No big deal, not their fault. The staff was very responsive to any questions or concerns that I had, and apologetic about the wait. I could have went to other places like Big Lots and had my furniture same day but the quality could never compare. The furniture was worth the wait, and when it is time to replace other furniture in my home I will certainly be returning.

We have purchased furniture here on 2 occasions; a living room set and then a bedroom set. There is absolutely no reason to go anywhere else. The prices are great and the customer service is exceptional. Kristie and Jennifer on the sales team were fantastic. I love that they call with updates on our orders. Kristie was so patient in my purchase process - she really worked with my budget and helped me get the best deal with the promotion at that time. Calvin and Damien assembled our furniture and really went the extra mile. On one delivery, they helped my husband move a grill in addition to setting up our couches. On the next delivery, they assembled my daughters bed and then took the time to bring in the box spring and mattress (totally not part of the assembly). Then offered to move her old bed frame to our garage...again, definitely not part of the job. We really couldnt be more impressed with the service from start to finish.

This place cant be beat! Awesome Awesome Customer Service my couches came on time right before the NFL playoffs started. They predicted a date and stuck to it and got me my furniture in a timely manner. It was unbelievable how fast it came. Delivery was quick the two gentlemen helped me get it organized and setup and were done in about 30 minutes. They listened to all my instructions didnt scratch a thing while going upstairs and got it done perfectly!! The owners are wonderful and very helpful and checked in on me even after the furniture arrived. Wonderful company wonderful owners and the employees are excellent and very knowledgeable!! We had a great experience with Capital Discount! We purchased two couches, a love seat, and a coffee table. The products we purchased are good quality at a GREAT price.We had issues with one of the couches, but it was NOT Capitals fault. The couch was damaged upon delivery to their warehouse two times. The first time they refused delivery from the company that made it. The second time it was slightly damaged upon delivery but they brought it to our home so we could have something to sit in while they ordered it a 3rd time. The final couch was delivered in perfect condition. Their customer service during these issues was great, very friendly and responsive!We will absolutely purchase from Capital Discount Furniture in the future.

It was great, the whole experience was great, except the long wait to get the furniture, but that seems to be everywhere and compared to other furniture stores they still delivered it fast, I know a couple of people who ordered furniture before i did and they are still waiting and they order from the big franchise stores. During the pandemic, it was stressful to move to a new state and find furniture, but Capital Discount Furniture helped. The staff is SO friendly! My local (Apex) showroom was in a strange warehouse looking area, but when I walked in they had tons of furniture well placed inside to get an idea of what you will be ordering. They talked me through the ordering process and were very transparent that the item I was ordering would take a long time to arrive due to lowered production (fewer workers in factories to keep social distancing, etc). They even sent me email updates every few weeks to check in! When the big day arrived, they brought in my very large couch, were mindful of health and safety guidelines, set it up where I wanted and had handy tips for protecting hardwood floors. I highly recommend them for your next furniture purchase!

I have recently purchased a new home and it was new construction. I have had several terrible deliveries during the pandemic even so much so as damaging my home with some of them. I chose to order furniture from capital because they had unbeatable prices for the size of furniture and quality I needed. I was given a time estimate of 8-12 weeks however I did not quite expect it be 12 weeks to the exact. I understand there is a pandemic and people are short staffed but regardless not having the sofa through the holidays and having a baby was not convenient. I was offered an opportunity to cancel the furniture which I almost did. I’m glad to say that the furniture did arrive at 12 weeks and the wait was over. I would have given five stars however due to the long delivery times I could not as other products and furniture from other companies arrived much more promptly. Overall, for quality and price purposes I would repurchase furniture from here. I was given regular updates and contacted by phone and email. The delivery drivers were exceptional as well as Kristy and a Jennifer.

I cannot say enough great things about Capital Discount Furniture and their team! I ended up accidentally calling Capital Discount Furniture thinking it was another local furniture store— they quickly informed me that they had the sectional I was interested in (and for $100 less). The entire process was absolutely seamless: they allowed me to pay an initial 20% deposit and the remainder the day before delivery, they called every week or so to let me know that the time frame was still on track, and the delivery and box removal was exceptional. Even came with three throw pillows I wasn’t expecting! I would recommend everyone looking for affordable, quality furniture and great customer service here and will be a lifelong customer.

We ordered two bedroom furniture sets and one living room. This was our second attempt to order during the Cov19 pandemic. The first attempt was with another furniture company, and it was a horrible experience. We ordered, paid and waited, and waited. We were never contacted or updated on our orders. It came to the point where we requested our money back after 3 months of waiting. My wife then decided to try again and Capitol Discount Furniture was a God sent. It took us about 8 weeks to get all of our furniture, but the wait was well worth it. We were given an estimated delivery date and boy did they keep it. We understand that during these times there are many uncertainties, but Capital was not one. We were updated frequently and some of our items were available earlier than the projected delivery date and was delivered earlier for free. The delivery staff were great and professional. The all around experience that we had with Capital Discount Furniture was great and I can only imagine how much better it would be during regular times.

It’s a wonderful furniture place with all sorts of collections. Price is amazingly affordable. The sales team are very professional and helpful too. We spent not even $2k but bought a bunches of furnitures, couch, shelves, dresser, and 2 big canvas paintings. Very happy experience with them!

At first glance you wouldn’t think it’s an actual furniture store but walking in you can see a lot of the furniture that they have. It is a little cramped but given the space they make it work. The staff was very helpful. Not pushy but ready to help when we needed it. The table we got from them is what we needed as we just moved in the area. I love the kiosk that is interactive that shows all the items they are able to get. Will definitely be heading here soon for our future furniture needs.

So far we have had a terrible experience with Capital Discount Furniture. We ordered a couch through them that they gave an 8-10 week lead time based on production delays. We are currently on week 15. They promised to give weekly updates on the status but after about week 3 only call back if I leave a voicemail first. After we paid for the item upfornt, from my perspective, they do not seem interested in delivering or providing any updates on the delay. They refuse to take any responsibility for the delay. Their attitude is negative and I have been spoken to aggressively as they continue to make excuses.UPDATE: My couch has finally been delivered after a total 138 days nearly double the prediction we were sold on. It was a stressful and unfortunate experience. They seem like they are trying to do good but unfortunately currently can not manage their supply chain or deliver on their services.UPDATE: I got a call from the owner after the couch was delivered and after I left the review. It would have been useful to hear from him during the delay to assure that they had not committed fraud on me. I thought I was going to get an apology, but he was just trying to get me to change my review and accused me of lying in my review. It was all just adding on to the terrible experience. Bottom line they will not take responsibility for not delivering on their word.ADVICE: If you want better reviews have better customer service and deliver on your sales team promises, and when you do not meet them take responsibility and try to correct them.

With the nature of the pandemic at hand , Capital Discount Furniture Customers Service still excelled beyond measure.I ordered at the end of September and they definitely gave me full disclosure regarding the ETA’s from the manufacturer as 8-10 weeks. They kept me updated and informed throughout the wait and I was a little nervous as they told me there may be a delay at the end of November but somehow someway they came through and I received my furniture in the original time frame I was given.The delivery team was very courteous and nice , they answered my questions and the set up took roughly 45 minutes as they built my products on site.I would definitely recommend!

My girlfriend purchased a bed set here. Took forever and was 5 weeks past expected time of 6-8 weeks. Once delivered quality was not what we expected. No return policy either. Won’t be back.

Bridget was always there to answer any and all questions and they were even nice enough to give me random calls just to update me me on the order as things are moving quite a bit slower with demand during these strange times. Capital went above expectations and ensured my dining table was to standard. The shipping team was helpful and courteous. We had to get a replacement on the bench because the tools the manufacturer provided were not correct. Capital came to my house 3 times but found a solution we are happy with. Thank you!

I was nervous about buying a couch without trying it out first so Im very glad I found this place--and they were right down the street. Cant beat that.When I went inside, everybody had masks on and practiced safe social distancing. My mom and I found the loveseat for my apartment pretty quickly. The kiosk at the front helped me find a matching chair to go with it. The staff were super nice and helpful and the prices are more than fair.Ginger Casbon told me itd take 8-12 weeks for delivery, so I was pleasantly surprised to receive the call a month after ordering. She even emailed me two weeks after placing my order to check in, which is a plus. The delivery guys did a great job carrying the furniture up to my 3rd floor apartment and disposing of the packaging.The furniture is very comfortable, looks great, and fits perfectly in my apartment. Glad I could support a local business. Also kudos to the owner for checking in to make sure everything went well. 11/10 would recommend.

Absolute 5 from start to finish. This is the 2nd time we have purchased from Capital Discount Furniture and each time we have had a great experience. I wanted a sectional, but didnt think it could fit in our room. They took the time to sit down with me, sketch it out, and find a way to make it work. It turned out beautifully and looks perfect in the room. They kept in touch with us regularly during the building of our piece, and it was ready and delivered earlier than promised.

We went in looking for a sectional after we have been to every big name brand store. We found one we loved and couldn’t believe the price. Aside from that we have had the very best customer service. We were aware that because of Covid the arrival dates were going to be around 8 weeks and Ginger the store manager kept us up to date on our order every step of the way. They delivered to my third floor apartment, set everything up for me and took all the packaging with them, so I wasn’t left with a mess. I would absolutely recommend them!

We just got our delivery and we’re so happy! Every piece we got is beautiful. When we did our shopping, the salesperson was helpful but not pushy. We changed our minds a few times and she was patient and helpful. The delivery people were on time, quick, and so nice. The prices are super reasonable and the furniture is made in NC 😊. When we need more furniture we will surely choose them again!

If you are looking for new furniture this is the place to go! They have unbeatable prices, super knowledgeable staff, and best part they are local. We got a dresser from here that was several hundred dollars less than what another brand name store was selling it for. They offer white glove delivery for a very reasonable price or you can pick up yourself. We ordered our dresser when the pandemic started so it took a little longer than quoted to get it but they kept me in the loop throughout the process.

My husband and I purchased from here back in October 2020. Due to Covid, we just received our furniture in January but because of the excellent shopping experience and customer service, we still enjoyed everything.
