A great store for creative minds n good deals too

Very impressed on my first visit to an A.C. Moore location. Staff were very friendly and helpful even on what was a very busy shopping day. As someone who loves to bake, my view of an arts and crafts store typically hinges on its selection of baking-related items. This stores selection was excellent, far bigger than my local Michaels. And where other stores may stock one brand of an item (typically Wilton), I was pleasantly surprised to see multiple manufacturers for a number of products including icing colors and decorating tips. Having a choice when shopping for baking supplies in store is rare, at least in my experience. In addition, I found the prices very reasonable. Overall, I was very impressed. Given that this was just my first visit, I will most assuredly be back, and encourage any other bakers out there to check it out.

Nice store. They have everything organized pretty well at this location. If you can wait for a sale, then they have good buys. However, I generally find them a bit expensive. My cashier was more interested in chatting with the cashier next to her that conversing with me but I got what I needed. I would probably spend me time in the store if the associates were more friendly and didnt stalk you as if you are going to steal something.

Always love this store. Great store. Staff is well trained, honestly know their products. They have great ideas for their products and always offer new ideas. The store is always well stocked, is up to date on current trending DIY, and there are always employees available to help. If they dont know something they will find someone who does. Also if they do not sell what you are looking for, they can and will advise you where you can go to find it.

Great art and crafts store. If you really want the best deals get a member card or go with a member. Discounts are in the range of 55%-60%. You may not be able to combine coupons but you can use multiple coupons with different payment methods. Without the discounts the prices are not exactly the best.They get some items in very small quantities so if you dont find what youre looking for it may be in another of their stores a few miles away.

This is a fine example of the A.C. Moore storefront. One of the first I noticed was the cleanliness of the store. The normal clutter and scads of misplaced items you see in other hobby stores was not to be found here. Even with heavy holiday weekend customer traffic, they somehow managed to keep shelves organized and all walking spaces clear. Aisle displays were eye-catching while remaining unobtrusive. Staff seemed nice and overall it was a pleasant shopping experience

AC Moore always has great coupons so if you live close, you can really get a lot of great deals. They barrage you with email coupons daily. Otherwise I usually find what I need, but they dont have a great website to see if they have something specific and theyre not as big as Michaels, Jo-Ann, or Hobby Lobby. People are nice, the store is clean and organized, coupons are good.

I go here only when I truly need something and cant afford to wait for it to be shipped to me (for a project or assignment), because its the closest art store to where I live. The service is either barely passable or crummy--I dont think Ive ever had a friendly experience with any of the staff that work there. I get it: working with the public can be brutal, but being pleasant to the people are actually pleasant in return would be nice from time to time. When it really comes down to it, I rather shop for my art supplies online.

When I first moved here in 2009 the store was very limited put over the years they have updated themselves and became with the times as hair care has changed especially for African-American hair. Now I can say that they cater a lot towards natural hair. I am an African-American hair type and I like that I can find the product that I need. The people that work there are nice and always helpful. Plus who doesnt love going into a beauty store to go get what you need but come out with what you dont need plus some. Anytime you see us Alice he pretty much know youre going to find what you need.

The store itself is great. It’s the website that leaves a lot to be desired. There is no way of knowing if they have a certain item unless you actually drive there and look. I know there is some variation in all stock in stores, but there isn’t even a hint of what they have. It’s a drive and gas wasted if they don’t have the item.

Was looking for something specific and visited this store since it was near by. Customer service is non existent. Good luck finding any associate, but in case you do, they seem completely uninterested in helping out. I would rather drive that extra distance and get better service.

Cool store. Generic versions of everything leads to good prices. Nice selection of inventory. Very helpful and determined staff. Clean store, organized well.

Great store. I enjoy seeing what they have. Its always nice browsing around and finding different paper craft supplies.

I was looking for photo mats and they have an entire row, however they did not have a large selection of mats that were did for multiple prints. I ended up making a purchase of just one 11x14 mat instead of potentially a few different ones in different sizes. They did have a coupon available though online and my purchase was 55% off the item which was great.

I honestly hate to leave this review. I’ve been going to this ac Moore for years, but recently customer service has just gone absolutely downhill. The employees used to be super friendly and helpful, but the ones they have now never smile and look like they hate being there. Theyre very rude and look at customers like they’re inconveniencing them by shopping there.I’m a cashier too, and I get it’s not an easy nor the most enjoyable job for a lot of people, however it’s their job, and mine at my workplace, to be polite and friendly to customers. I always prioritize customer service because that’s what keeps me as a customer going back to stores, and I don’t like walking into a store where I immediately feel unwelcome. Joanne’s fabrics or even michaels nearby has much friendlier employees.

I wasn’t impressed with the merchandise. It felt more like I was in a $5 below store. A.C. Moore use to be amazing. I hope it finds its way back to sensational. That’s my opinion you decide.

I really like A.C. Moore. Their prices are competitive. They have very nice customer service and great quality products.

This place has really bad customer service. They are frugal with coupons... They give me a hard time almost every time I try to use my coupons. I dont know what gets under their skin with actually helping their customers. Cashiers almost never smile. If it wasnt the nearest A.C.Moore to me, I definitely would not come here. Ever.

There are so many options to choose from! If you dont already have Project to work on, check their various kits that can make it easier AND give you inspiration!And, if you need any help, just ask! So many knowledgeable employees.

A nice store- kind of a Po Folks Hobby Lobby.I bought too much stuff here and would have bought more if I could have gotten some help on the floor with questions on some items.I enjoyed browsing and will be back.

Great place to get crafty for the kids. Lots of projects and/or supplies to come up with your own.

One of the managers is incredibly rude and loud and wouldnt let me even finish a sentence. Really makes me wonder why she has a job where you regularly speak to people, when she so obviously hates it. Wish I had caught her name.

Best place in town to get all your crafts materials, baking supplies, decorations for every season. Excellent customer rewards program. Sales items and discounts for almost every shopping visit!

Tons of yarn. Good art supplies. Prices arent usually the best, but theres always a good coupon with the app.

I gave it two stars only because they always have what I am looking for but...I have visited this store on several occasions and each time I have went to the checkout lanes there is usually only one or two lanes open. Today was the last time I will ever shop this location again. I have stood patiently in lines that were 7-8 people with no one, including managers, standing within a close distance attempting to open another register. One manager yelling out that customers could even out the lines by going to the other register.IF you have to visit an AC Moore, I would suggest visiting the one in Cary at Crossroads. The people are friendlier, they will open a new lane when there are more than 3 people in a lane AND the managers are willing to work those lanes with the associates.

If I could give this store a negative 1, I would. The lines are always too long and the staff who work there are the rudest people I have ever encountered in my life and I am originally from the north east! They dont smile, are not helpful, and demean you and speak to you like you a criminal trying to take money from them when using your coupons/discounts. I would rather travel to Holly Spring to Michaels, where the customer service is fantastic, then visit this store anymore.

A candy store for people who enjoy decorations, crafts, and art. They also have great sales and coupons especially if you get the app.

I go here usually instead of Michaels for everything. This time though I’m in awe. There are literally no normal sized Christmas ornaments, trees, tree skirts, lights - NOTHING. Don’t come here for Christmas stuff. I can’t believe I’m saying this but go to Hobby Lobby or Michaels. This was pathetic.

AC Moore has a lot going for it because it does have a lot of items to offer and has some good deals at times, but avoid this store! It is worth it to go to another store for better customer service and management that cares about the customer and that realize if they take 2 coupons the same day from a customer and make a sale that it is better than not and losing a sale and possibly other sales in the future. FYI a lot of people wont come back to buy that 2nd item! Think about it!

They had exactly what I needed.. a special gift to take to a graveside service for a friends brother.. wanted him to know that his friends were there for him even if we didnt get to see him.. so I got a chaulk type message board and we all wrote messages and signed our names.. he really appreciated it!

I went in here to buy some yarn for a sweater I REALLY wanted to make. I got to the register and my bill was twelve dollars and some change all I had to pay with was a one hundred dollar bill. They wouldnt let me use it to pay for my things. Im pissed! probably will never come back to this location! Ill stick to the Raleigh location they always serve me well! And their attitudes are way better!

Much better and economical than Michaels.....They always have coupons and items on sale....Our first choice for all crafts / arts / decor supplies.

For a store going out of business this week their prices have not been marked down very much at all.

I couldnt find what I was looking for and the few times Ive been there, no one ever seems to be around to answer questions. I prefer to shop at the AC Moore or Michaels at Cary Crossroads.

I want to give a shout to this store.. although I travel 15 miles this is the place I always go, when the others stores are out of my item.. The inventory is GREAT!!

The staff are always nice and helpful but they dont keep stocked up on items. It may be weeks before they get certain things in. Weekly coupons are awesome!

Agh i go here a lot and most of the employees just seem grumpy and pretty ill-informed.... Im not saying anything heinous, just that its not the most welcoming or helpful.... lighten up people! :)

I like the stuff they sell, but return something was a pain. I buy some shoes and they didnt fit the person who I give them. The shoes came in a hanger. I didnt bring back the hanger and the person doing the return made a big deal about it. If you buy something there be sure you dont need to returned.

The place has good enough arts and crafts collection for both who like to DIY or those who want ready stuff. Love to find great discounts too

This is the best AC Moore in the area. Unfortunately, what AC Moore carries anymore just rarely jibes with my craft needs. Theyve just cut back way too much on stitchery kits, books, and supplies.

The staff were rude and showed clearly that they did not want to be there. Makes the customer feel like theyre being a nuisance. I dont ask for much from an employee other than basic respect and I did not receive this. Not the first time either.

Having never been to this AC Moore, I was excited to go in there. Wow, I was disappointed. Very messy and the staff wasnt very friendly.
