Pathetic experience. In the holiday season, this store has put a limit of 10 lights total. No matter what type of lights you buy, you can only buy ten a day. This is not shared till you get to the aisle of the lights. The website and app showed lights available and did not highlight the limit. I hired a Home Depot Pro Service contractor for the installation. They wanted more lights of a particular type during the process, and the store did not let me purchase more than 10. It was a perfect way to ruin the holiday season. Clearly, Home Depot is passing its supply chain burdens to its customers by putting these limits. These items are not sales items, regular priced items - holiday lights.

The perfect shop for my home maintainance. Whenever there is a problem to fix in home I think of this store which will give me what I want including tools and fixtures. All at same place, just go and shop. Nothing is impossible here, you will find something for your home. Right from front yard to backyard everything at home depot. I know, 🙂m exaggerating too much but thats my feeling so far..

I was looking for cans of varnish and couldnt find the colors I wanted. He was in the tools department and the person in charge hardly knew his own name. It was very difficult in each department to find someone to help me. Anyway, it was not a very good experience.

Usually easy in, get what you want, and get away quick. But last time shopping was the worst ever... took 10 minutes walking about a third of the store to find someone that couldnt help but would call someone for me, then they didnt have the lumber I wanted, took 30 minutes for them to figure that out, they had the nailer I wanted and batteries for it but no charger... and it took a bit to sort that out... basically a complete waste of time.

Ive sent this as an email to Home Depot Corp as well.Apex, NC store #3644I have major kudos for Bobby, who works at the Pro Desk, and his management needs to know how wonderful he was to me.As a first time home buyer, I had bought multiple sets of blinds from Home Depot for my home. A majority of them were in the store but some had to be delivered to the store for me to pick up. Most of them needed to be cut.At this point two weeks ago, there were still two blinds that I hadnt received yet. I brought back two blinds to Home Depot I had just received, that needed to be re-cut to proper size. When the employee checked me out and gave me the re-cut blinds, he also marked off that I had received my final two blinds, when I had in fact not received them. I did not notice until a week later when I came in, to check on the status of my order, and he told me that my order showed that I had picked everything up.He told me to go to the blinds dept. and explain my situation - I went to them, explained, and they assured me that everything would be fine and they would call me when my order came in. That didnt make sense to me but I wasnt sure what else to do.Thus began my incessant calling and being assured by the employees in blinds that they were going to be coming in still, not to worry, theyd call me when theyre ready. Finally, I spoke to a woman at the Pro Desk two days ago, and she confirmed what I had suspected - since someone had marked my two unreceived blinds as received, my order was no longer open and I was not going to receive my last two blinds. She said shed call me back - she never did.So, feeling defeated and completely finished with Home Depot, I called again later that day to ask for a refund of my two blinds that I did not receive. Bobby picked up the phone, and I am SO glad he did. He listened to my concerns, confirmed my order showed I was not receiving them, then he did the most amazing thing - he not only found one of the blinds already in the store and had it cut for me, but then he drove to another store to get the second blinds, brought them back, had them cut properly, and allowed me to come pick them up the same day.He restored my faith in Home Depot, since he went above and beyond for me. When no one else wanted to even consider helping me, he did everything he could to fix the solution. He should be recognized because helping someone when they need help should always be rewarded.

Good place to buy plants and flowers. There is a wide collection of sun and shade plants. The place looks so beautiful and serene. Apart from that one could buy fertilizer and pots as well. The best part is its very affordable.

Checkout was quick and it was an easy shopping experience for me. I prefer Home Depot over Lowes, but thats probably because Im from Atlanta where Home Depot was founded.

Excellent customer service from your associate named Connor Vance. We were trying to find out if you had a grill in stock that we wanted to buy. We were sent by the folks up front to several people and departments to ask, and were told that Grant would be looking for us. Well, we couldnt find Grant in Garden, but when I asked Connor Vance, he said hed be glad to help us, which he did. After checking inventory, he helped us make our purchase and then cheerfully helped load it into our vehicle. Excellent customer service and the grill was a great price. Thank you, Home Depot!

Customer service was very poor. I called before hand to see if they had a certain product in stock since at the Cary location the website in stock quantity was incorrect. The person that answered was not very helpful and outright lied that they did have the product after my explanation that the website could be wrong since it was wrong at Cary. When I arrived I saw that they indeed had none of the product I was looking for on the shelves. When I asked an employee for assistance he told me to look in the aisle I had just come from before I could even say that I had just looked and the shelves were empty. Eventually, I was able to get a reluctant employee to look a few other places in the store before they told me they couldnt find it. After that they just walked away, no apologies and no advice for other avenues of assistance. I will not be returning to the Apex location due to the extremely low level of customer service. Hell, Im honestly going to go to Lowes as much as I can now.

Poot customer serviceI went yesterday to buy some heavy supplies, I could no even get help to load it to cart. At one point there were four guys standing there throwing the bucket at each other then they all walked awayI started loading just to get the product land on the floor (20 4x8’ panels). I was confused because a product had a different price than what it said on the shelf so when I brought it to the attention of one of the ladies at the customer service counter she began to give me attitude for no reason. Im writing this review to give thanks and appreciation for Dottie in customer service, as well as the store manager (dont know his name) at the Apex, NC store.I had made an $800 online purchase and had it delivered to the store for me to pick up. When I got the item home to install it, I found that it was damaged, even though the box showed no signs of damage. I had multiple calls with the corporate office that were very frustrating and no reasonable resolution. I took the item back to the store to see if they could help. Dottie got on the phone with me to the corporate office and got it all straightened out. She asked her manager to help facilitate the solution and I quickly had a replacement shipped to my home. Dottie really went above and beyond for me - great customer service! Thanks, Dottie!

If I could give negative zero stars I would. My mother purchased a refrigerator from Home Depot in Apex and on top of missed delivery after being installed it doesnt make ice. The initial it was supposed to be delivered Nov. 12 and didnt arrive until Nov. 19. The delivery was scheduled for 12-5pm and never received a call ever. When we did try to call they say they didnt know when it would be re-delivered. We spoke to Asst Mgr at the store and no resolution.After more than a dozen calls to Home Depot they said they were not responsible for the delivery. Finally, they scheduled delivery and but it was set up but the refrigerator doesnt make ice.Now since Nov. 19th we have not had ice from the refrigerator. They sent someone out who didnt even pull the refrigerator out to see what may have been wrong.WORST EXPERIENCE EVER!!!!!! Home Depot let us down in a major way.

Horrible customer service. When something goes wrong with a delivery there is no priority to make it right for the customer. On top of that the price dropped over $600 on the item I purchased less then 2 weeks ago and the would not honor the new sale price even though I havent received delivery of my item. My item was damaged during the first delivery attempt and they told me that in order to get the new price on the item they would have to cancel the entire sale and redo it in order to get the sale price and that would put me an additional two weeks out on an item that I should have already had. Was lied to by several associates before speaking to the assistant manager. Even he was not able to do anything for us. We just moved here two weeks ago and have had no refrigerator for my family of 5. Now I have to wait another 2 weeks for a replacement and as of right now they didnt give me a break on the price. Called the store twice and left messages for the manager and still havent heard back. Piss poor customer service and they basically dont care about you or your situation at this location

Home Depot has horrible customer service and policies. I found a grill that I liked that was at a store about an hour away. I went to pick it up but they would not honor the price on the website and said that it was priced lower in my area because of the location(even though I showed them on my phone that the price advertised for pick up was at the store I went to). I traveled too far to buy this grill so I went ahead and bought it assuming I could call corporate and explain the situation to get a refund on the difference of the advertised price. WRONG!!! They would not honor the price that was advertised on the site! To make matters worse, parts were missing when I got home to assemble the grill and when I called, they said my only option was to drive back to get them.I also recently went in to buy a weed trimmer at my local store that I saw on their website. I had my store location entered and it showed the item at $129.00. Low and behold I arrive at the store and it is priced at $149.99. I again went to customer service and showed them the price that was advertised AT THIS LOCATION and they would not honor the price. I had to go home and order the product on line and wait 5 days to get it when they could have just HONORED THE ADVERTISED PRICE!!!! I thought false advertisement was illegal.....I will NOT shop at Home Depot ever again!!!!!

Worst experience ever in any hom depot. I went to buy a product.. which was shown 5 in stock in website.. when i asked employee over there no one wants to help.. finally one employee told me its not available and to order online. I ordered online and went home.. but within 10 minutes i got message that order is ready to pickup in same store.. so clearly they did not check and told me its not available.. then i turn my car midway home and went to pickup order. While picking up.. box was beaten up.. i asked them may be item is damaged as box was torn and to check the item.. they told me its only box and put vanity in my suv..I went home and i did not even have to pull up the vanity.. i can see vanity is damage as soon as i open one flap of the box.. i went back again to exchange.. but it took me abt an hour to exchange.. and finally i just returned it and went to lowes and got the vanity.. this experience put me to point where i will think twice before i will enter any home depot in future..

Apex store- We went there on a beautiful Sunday afternoon for a large curbside pickup and a quick return. We were expecting a crazy, disorganized situation. And thats not what we experienced.The return went quickly and no issues. We then went outside to and parked in the designated parking spots for pickup. This is very different compared the the long line of cars at the Fuquay location. Before I could even finish calling the number on the sign, someone was at my window looking to help. Within 6 to 7 minutes, he reappeared with my order. We were shocked! I expected the order pickup to take much longer.Fast, friendly, and well organized. Nice job Apex!

The staff is always helpful. The guy who helped me went from one end of the store to the other to get the things that I needed. He helped me find the right tool for a job. The tool was unique and they happened to have one left so it wasnt an easy find. He gave me good advice based on my project. I got in and out with exactly what I wanted and within my budget.

Been looking for ceramic tile on many different Home Depot locations and I been told that from Home Depot associates that the ceramic tile has been discontinued, however I found some in Cary and the Cary store which because has been discontinued they dropped the price half of the original price. The peoples from Cary location send me to Apex location and when I got there they would not honor the price from Cary location even if that was the same product and specifications. Store manager Ashley was very rude and talking to me about policies which she never show me just to prove her words about what she’s talking about. Worse experience customer service!!! Will never buy anything from Home Depot.

Ordered some things for pickup including a garden hose. I get a call this morning from the store saying they couldn’t find the hose even though it’s clearly listed in their inventory so they cancelled it from my order. I went to the store to pickup my order and within two minutes of walking into the store I found the hose they claimed was missing. I took it to customer service to get it added back to my order and I was greeted with a rude attitude from them because they were clearly embarrassed that I showed them their mistake. I’m sure it was an honest mistake so I wasn’t annoyed about that until they showed me such disrespect for finding the hose I ordered.

I believe they dont understand, they may be a VECTOR! I also saw many shoppers without face masks and gloves. A Vector is someone who is carrier of the virus yet is not having any symptoms. The main idea of gloves and face masks in public is for the wearer not to spread the virus if they have it. We must all wear PPE to stop the spread, DONT BE A VECTOR!!!

When I placed order at online it shows 11 item in stock, the order confirmation not received and when I called the customer service, they routed me to the store, the store says item is not in STOCK! so your online system is FAKE! when I log in immediately after the call, it still shows 11 items at stock in APEX store....your online system and your store is absolutely not in sync.

07/16 update:In the recent days I have seen multiple improvements and wanted to share that. We could go to a curbside and text or click a link from your order email, and they will bring the order to your car. They seem to wear masks as well. This a huge improvement and I feel much safer to shop there now.There were couple times I went inside store as well, felt safe. There are shields and spots marked to maintain distance and employees also wore masks. Thanks to HD for making this improvement.OLD REVIEW:COVID19 TIMESThere is something called curbside pickup which is great, but for most part people who are doing this curbside pickup is wanting to maintain social distance and not want to go inside a store. This is a joke here. They could have easily taken my order number once I called from curbside pick up area. But NO they had to come to my car without a mask and take the order number with 1 FOOT distance not six foot. I did have a mask but not my wife and baby. My pick up experience with other stores were flawless. If you are wanting to follow guidelines maintain six foot distance AVOID this store unfortunately. I get it you may not like to wear a mask, but you could have taken my order by phone and brought the items to car. Why have to come in close contact?????

My refrigerator broke on 10/23. I went online to The Home Depot to order a new refrigerator and at that time the earliest available delivery for a refrigerator in our budget was 11/5. We couldnt wait that long so we went to the nearest The Home Depot to see if they could find something sooner since we are a family of 5 and they did. They found a refrigerator that was 600 dollars over our budget but had a delivery date of 10/31, so we purchased it. On delivery day, the driver showed me that the refrigerator was dented and damaged and recommended refusing the delivery. The next available date was 11/11. I was upset that we spent 600 over budget to now have a later delivery date than the original refrigerator we wanted. Now today, no phone calls or emails from #HomeDepot to give me a time slot for delivery, so I call them and they show me on the delivery schedule but Samsung never shipped the refrigerator. Home Depot called Samsung who shows it in their system as a cancelation VS replacement. I am at a loss, home depot has my money in limbo (apparently issued a refund on 11/3 without notice, still dont have the money), I have no refrigerator and I will NEVER spend another dime in this store. As someone who spends most of my free time as a DIY remodeler, you just lost a great customer.

Have been here many times and I have been through a whole circle when it comes to requirements. In all the aspects, I have had good customer experience. I did order online and picked up at the store - the process was seamless. Their website will tell you where you can find whatever you are looking for.I used their moving boxes and bubble wrap. Found them to be more sturdier and cheaper than the ones in Lowes.Couple of times, I didnt have the patience or didnt know what I was looking for. In both those cases, the staff were friendly and helpful in guiding me. Their recommendations has worked most of the times.These days, I look to find whatever I need from Home Depot. More often than not, I find it there.Bottom line: Good hardware store for all your needs.

I came to this store for price matching a thermostat. At the service desk, I placed the thermostat on the desk and as soon as I mentioned price matching, the lady was ready to deny it. She was almost holding her breath and shaking as if I was there to argue. Without hearing what and where, she started telling me conditions of price matching and what they dont price match. As I try to speak, she kept telling me about not price matching online stores as if I am just wasting her time and she has other things to do. As I already mentioned Lowes, she finally gave me chance to speak and I mentioned Lowes again, showed her the item at Lowes website. She started telling me that they dont price match their online item before asking me if they have them in the store. I told her that on their website, they show the closest store that have the item is in Cary, which is 8 miles away. She said no, they will not price match because it has to be in a store near them. The nearest Lowes close to them is half a mile away.I ended up going to the Lowes half a mile away to see what thermostats they had in the store. They actually had the thermostat I wanted but their website didnt show it. I was happy about finding the item at Lowes but still upset about my experience in Home Depot.With what reason would I come to Home Depot for price matching if I can get it from the closest Lowes or another store?The point of price matching is to draw customers to your store instead of them spending money in another store. That day, they didnt only lose my money from that thermostat, but also lost for other items I bought that day. They have also lost my future business. Not only in this Home Depot but overall unless I absolutely have to.You represent the place you work. You may not care about the store but this is where you work to make money. Your job is to help the business make money. Take ownership in what you do.

Great store. Use The Home Depot app to find exactly what youre looking for. It shows the aisle and bin number and even shows if its in stock. No need to look for an employee that way. The self checkout is very easy to use. Ive been to this store at least two dozen times. Never had a single issue.
