I called first to make sure that they did walk ins or if you had to have an appointment. Which you do but they had availability that day. An I went in signed all the papers was told the price etc and then they cleaned the room and had all the piercing jewelry and material cleaned and sanitized which is awesome! And the girl who pierced me kept a conversation going with me. She was so sweet an very careful and gentle. The piercings went smooth and I was out with in 7 minutes. Definitely will be coming back for more piercings and tattoos. They are so kind an warming and greet you as soon as you walk in. Hands down the best tattoo and piercing shop now in Mesa :)

My sister recommended Rad-A-Tat Tattoo for piercings, so I called in and was able to set up an appointment same-day. I got 6 piercings - Tom did both of my second lobes, and both Tom and Mike teamed up to do my two helixes. They were very patient with me while we figured out the placements, and they were so gentle that I hardly felt any pain. When I felt faint, the Rad-A-Tat team let me hang out in one of the private rooms while I recovered. They chatted with me the entire time and made me feel very welcome. Its the next day and my ears dont even ache. I would 100% recommend these guys for ear piercings. Thank you so much Tom and Mike!

I took my daughter here to get her ears pierced. My sweet girl has had some medical trauma and she was so scared to go, but also wanted her ears pierced. Mike and Collin were so patient and they waited until she was ready and they did a beautiful job and got both ears done at once. I am so grateful. She left feeling like a boss because it was hard for her to face another needle because it was HER choice! I would recommend this place to ANYONE!

I dont know who did my friend and Im piercings but he did a great job! He helped my friend when she got dizzy and lightheaded, and when he did my bellybutton I didnt even feel it. 10/10 would go again to get pierced. He chatted with us while my friend recovered and kept bringing her water. It was a fantastic experience.

Mike did a FANTASTIC job piercing my septum. I had come in two weeks prior and gotten it done by an apprentice (unknowingly, wish I had been told by her). I had come in from the amazing reviews and was sad to leave before with my septum so crooked.. but Mike called me back in to get it fixed and he did it himself after 2 weeks when it was healed. I am so thankful I went back and gave them another shot, I would recommend this place to anyone I know!

I really recommend going to Collin if you’re getting some piercings! A couple of friends and I went in for my 21st birthday for some ear piercings. We ended up getting 10 total but we weren’t exactly sure what we wanted going in but Collin was super patient, kind and helpful during the whole process! He tested out different spots on the ear to make sure it was exactly what we wanted before we got it pierced! The business itself was super nice, clean and the staff was all friendly. Overall a really great experience for an amazing price!

Had my nose pierced today by Michael and the best experience I could hope for! He was very nice and professional and explained everything and was very informative. Was very patient with everything. My sister came to get a part of her ear done and had a tough time. He talked her thru it and was so beyond awesome! The guy at the front was also very nice and helpful and it was all around a great experience! 10/10 would DEFINITELY recommend anyone go here for piercings.

I went to go get a new barbell (again, went to a different Rad A Tat that gave me a too long of a bar) for my tongue piercing that I broke from eating. I provided them the size I have used for 4/5 years and the piercer did let me know that the bar would be smaller but said it should be fine. The same night I got home, I noticed the bar was way too small and it was leaving a divet in my tongue since it was hugging it so tight. I went to Club Tattoo for a same exact bar I initially had, paid $20 more but got the relief I needed from the tension being put on my tongue. The place is nice and clean, just hated having to go twice for the same kind of issue.

I went here to get my ears pierced and I was very uninformed and they helped me throughout the whole process of how it’s going to be done and paced me on when they were going to insert the needle and made it seem effortless and comfortable. They are very communicative on their work and don’t rush you and are very patient! I’d recommend to others to get their piercing done through here!

I was getting a under boob tattoo. My tattoo artist (Damien) made me feel comfortable even though I was laying on the table with just stickers over my nipples, lol. He took breaks as needed and made the experience a positive one. Its not done yet but I will be back to finish it up. I love it!!!

I was warmly greeted when I walked in, and quickly taken back to the piercing room after signing the necessary forms. The woman who pierced my ear was exceptional. She made me feel comfortable, talked to me like I was an old friend, and most importantly, expertly pierced my ear with minimal pain. I’ve been spreading the word about how great this shop is, and how crazy good the prices are. I’ll definitely be back for my next tattoo and maybe even another piercing!

Damien created an absolutely gorgeous piece of artwork on my arm! I have quite a few tattoos and this lovely flower is bright big and beautiful. It is my favorite tattoo of all! I’ve been coming into rad-a-tat for nearly four years now. I’ve had tattoos and piercings done from the location and have sat down with probably every artist there. I recently got my nipples pierced and had the best experience. They have private room and the piercer was fantastic and talking me through it, not to mention remembered me just by looking at my tattoos. Very clean and professional, and an amazing environment!

Recently got a tattoo on my left calf just bigger then my hand. Black ink. My artist improved on my tattoo idea and the detail is awesome. Great price for it too. I was also told I could come back within the year for a free touch up. The crowd is friendly and the shop is very clean. I would recommend to anyone.

I love my double nose piercing! It healed super fast too, no more swelling and redness was gone within a day. The piercer was courteous and the piercings were so fast I didnt even feel it. Would recommend to anyone! I will definately be back in the future. Thanks for everything. :)

Husband brought me in for my birthday to get my tongue pierced, I was SUPER nervous. The guy who pierced my tongue, Goat, was extremely nice, professional, and relaxed. He made the experience so much better and helped me feel more relaxed too. The piercing didnt even hurt and he did an awesome job! Definitely would suggest to others and will go back in the future!

A few months ago I had agreed to have both myself and my daughter get tattooed at this location. We had chosen a VERY simple design, but being symmetrical was very important,(mind you, they ended up unsymmetrical). I got mine on Saturday, and my daughters was scheduled for the next day (we had to go home to get her Birth Certificate, this was not an issue). By the next day my tattoo and the surrounding area started to get red, and I thought maybe I just had an allergic reaction to the ink. My daughter got the same exact tattoo, by the same artist. By Monday the redness had spread on mine, and my daughter started having the same reaction on hers. On a side-note, I have had 16 previous tattoos by a couple of different artists and have never had this happen before. My arm got so swollen and red that it went about half way around my forearm. Due to the reaction to the ink, both of our tattoos ended up deformed even more than they started. We ended up scarred and now have to have them redone by the artist I normally would have gone to on my side of town (we drove about 60 miles to get to this location because of a recommendation). The ONLY reason I gave 2 stars instead of 1 was because the people were nice and the price was decent.

Got daith piercing done. Left side did not hurt at all slight pain when the needle went through on the right side. But not bad. Surprisingly I can sleep on my sides Sean was gentle and for a newbie he was perfect!! Very thorough!!

Had my nose pierced here a few weeks ago with my friend. Was a good experience overall, the piercer was good and knew what she was doing. The business was clean and a nice atmosphere. I would go back here for future other piercings and tattoos.

My boyfriend and I went in there and hes a veteran and Damion no longer works there, so we had to deal with Jerry, bad attitude. My boyfriend who is an Army surgical PA wanted medic underneath the current tattoo. Jerry could not find the stencil needed to match up with U.S.ARMY that Damien did, so my boyfriend gave Jerry 20.00 deposit and stated that its for keeping the appt if he didnt cancel within 24 hours and we did cancel, so we got screwed out of 20.00, when he said it was refundable. And the price of 80.00 which he couldnt spell MEDIC correctly and spell it out 3 times. Unbelievable.On top of that he referred me to as baby girl. HOW DARE YOU. I am military also, have respect. He appeared to be impaired, so I got a hold of a friend of mine with no deposit and only charging 40.00. So Jerry keep your 20.00 and have fun with it.
