5/10/21 ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE! the worst experience I have ever had at a furniture store. Save yourself the trouble and go elsewhere. I paid for my furniture in the start of March and STILL haven’t received ANYTHING. Just keeps giving the round about. Supposedly will be delivered sometime this Thursday 5/13 or Friday 5/14. Definitely will NOT be coming back nor will family or friends. I will be updating about the delivery and if on time.5/11/21 aman called questioning my review of this establishment. The bizarre thing how did he even know it was me? You could have literally called the wrong person. Not to mention how nasty you got toward me on the phone (on multiple occasions at that) to unprofessional. Telling me I could make the establishment go out of business. That is not my problem you have awful customer service. Not to mention the multiple times I had to call about where order was. Or you would say you would call back on a said certain day and never call. Which is why I would have to call. Which leads me to believe many others are experiencing the same problem. Maybe you should take some customers service skills classes. Shame on you. I’ve never had an establishment call me and question my review. Ridiculous.

I recommended & came to this store to my sister & brother in law because I believe in supporting local businesses and because I have previously purchased a bed & stairs for my nieces son and the product a bunk bed with stairs that had draws in them & we paid for the installation & the service was good.We were in the store mid February & we purchased a bunk bed with stairs/storage & 2 mattresses as well as the installation. The delivery took a significant amount of time and I called them on a regular basis & each time I was told everything was delayed because of COVID & they were trying to reach the manufacturer but they were back logged. I had to contact them on a regular basis to get any updates not vice versa. Approx 3-4 months letter the bed finally arrived and the installation date was set up at which point they received wrong pieces as the bed was a full & twin bed and the steps had defects, Knicks, chips and the the finish on several steps looks odd/faded.We contacted the store and were told to take pics of damage and email them to the store so they could forward to the manufacturer which we did and again no response or resolution and I called on a regular basis for updates not vice versa. The correct parts for the frame were dropped off several weeks after we contacted them however it’s now Mid June and the steps have still not been replaced.We were told 4 weeks ago the new steps arrived and they were working on setting a date with the install company and again after 3-4 calls to the store the new steps still have not been replaced and no contact from the store. I did inform the store we were not going to pay for another install fee as we already paid for one and the damaged steps were between the store, the manufacturer & the install company to resolve not is not our responsibility to pay for. Still no follow up from store or any resolution.It is now June 10th and my last contact was approx 2 weeks ago or more to the store at which point I was told they were arranging delivery and once again no response. We have been dealing with this since January and this is by far the worst experience & customer service we have had encountered with a purchase/store and the lack of response and resolution is extremely disappointing since I have spoken highly of this store to others and have referred others after my first purchase. The general attitude of the sales & other staff from point of purchase has been as if it’s been an inconvenience to deal with us.We would never recommend this store to anyone.!

Gary was great and went above and beyond to help us out. We bought bunks many years ago. Unfortunately when we moved houses we lost some hardware for the bunks. He let us find the parts needed and did it with a smile. Great experience when we bought the bunks and service many years later. Strongly recommend buying from them.

Myself..my Mom and my son went in this store this past Saturday to look for my son a bed..When we first entered there was no greeting just stares from the people who worked there like we didnt belong in there. I did speak when I first came in but no one spoke back..It was 2 ladies and a man who worked there. We still walked through the store and no one ask us did we need help or what we were looking for so we decided to leave .Even leaving the store they did not say a word. Please work on dealing with people of another ethnicity or race because it came off really prejudice and if that is not the case work on customer service. I will not recommend anyone to step foot in this store. First impressions are everything and I could have been the best customer you ever had..Everyones money is the same color regardless what they look like.

Ordered a bed on July 22nd. Here we are almost in October, and I still dont have the bed. When we were called on August 6th stating that the bed arrived, it was the wrong one. We were told by the owner that we changed the order, which we never did. Someone wrote on the invoice the wrong thing (however, it was not on our carbon copy of the invoice). We were told they would order the correct one. Fast forward to August 28th when I called to check on the status. They still hadnt even ordered the correct bed. I was told the order would be place on Monday, and it would be two weeks - but they would deliver for free. I have called three times since checking on my order, and keep getting told that someone will call me back and no one has. We tried to give them the benefit of the doubt due to Covid, and we wanted to support a local business, but now I am regretting that we have paid for a bed which we dont have. This is beyond frustrating, and I would definitely not recommend this business.

Purchased multiple beds from here, always been treated well, educated about the quality and value.In the one instance a piece of a bed came a bit damaged I was given a no-questions-asked replacement piece. Great service and incredible value. Highly recommend.

Excellent spot for your kids to pick out a bed. They are all set up for your kids to try out and the staff is knowledgeable, prices competitive and support is excellent.I had to order a replacement part for a bed I bought five years ago and they handled it quickly and Im pretty sure they didnt even mark it up ($20). Cant get that from Amazon and this is furniture which needs to be sturdy, so think twice about going online for something like this.They also have a clearance area if youre on a budget, definitely stop in if youre shopping for beds.Great experience shopping there, will definitely be going back again.

Love this place for quality childrens furniture. You can tell the furniture is built well and they dont try to oversell you for things a 5yo certainly doesnt need. Check this place out. You wont go back to the big box stores down the road if you are looking for kids furniture.

Went in on a Friday wanted a twin/ full bunk bed. Was told it would take two weeks to arrive, i said I needed it sooner so was told it would arrive by next Thursday. Thursday came no phone call, so I called and was told something happened with the delivery truck and it would arrive Monday and that I would get the call when it arrived. I was upset at that point, since I needed the bed asap, but I waited. Monday came no call all day around 7pm I called and was told the beds had arrived, yet know one called me as told. I picked up the bed on Tuesday get home start putting together the bed, was done about 90% with the bed when i realized that i got sent two full bed slats not a twin and a full bed slats. Im so upset at this point. I needed to have the bed asap, but waited a week then some days more, and then to come home and realize it was missing the correct bed slat and to put the cherry on top I was going to call today Wednesday and what do you know, they are closed on Wednesdays. Im sure it will take another two weeks to get the correct slats. I regret ever coming to this place. I would much rather have gone to a big chain or even ordered online myself to get the correct beds i needed asap.UpdateOn Thursday morning I received a call from Bunks and beds was told they got an email about my negative review. So I asked about getting the correct slat. Was told they had one at the store that I could have. I asked when I could pickup and was told anytime, then was asked if there was anyway I could remove the review. My response was the review was the least of my worries my priority was getting the slat to get my daughter off of sleeping on the ground with the mattress. Was told she had to talk to her boss about what I said. I asked if I could still have the slat she said yes. A few minutes passed received another phone call was told the slats would be dropped off at my house free of charge asap. It was dropped off new in a box so Im glad about that.Okay after all of this experience Im glad its done and over with. It was nice of the store to drop it off, but my only question is, what if I would have never written the review. Would I still be attended to asap? Im not sure. So after this experience I would still pass on coming here if I would need a bunk bed again.

They have a large selection of childrens beds that are high quality at reasonable prices. Also the owner is very knowledgeable about the furniture he sells and is not pushy like some sales people. They are able to get additional items not in the store but are from the manufacturers they sell products from. The bed I purchased was cheaper here then any place I looked online and they are willing to match prices.

We have bought numerous children’s beds and mattresses from this store over the past few years. The staff are incredibly friendly and helpful. Their prices are fair. Highly recommend them for anyone shopping for children’s beds.

Stopped here today after searching many other furniture stores in the area. Great selection with a wide variety of options, ranges of quality, and price. The prices were very fair. We loved that we could look around without being pressured (or followed!) but that when we did have questions the man who helped us was very knowledgeable and found us exactly what we needed (we had overlooked it during our browsing). Great experience!

After spending a good month looking for new bed for my daughter I was about to tell her I couldnt afford the bed she wanted until I walked into Bunks & Beds. 1/2 the price of the big stores and great quality. I also thought Gary was great no pressure or sales people breathing down your neck. Thanks Gary my daughter loves her new bed!!

They sell low the lowest quality furniture and they say its not like that Ikea stuff cause ours is hardwood. Yeah well, pine is far from Hardwood. since when is stapling drawer boxes together any type of quality

Ive been going to bunks and beds for years they are Definitely not going out of business!!! I have always been treated great. The costumer service is wonderful and the prices are reasonable. I always recommend them to my family and friends and never had a problem.

Awful customer service and problems with their product.I have a three year old and were in the market for a twin size bed. We have heard about Bunks and Beds from friends and decided to check it out. At first, Gary, was polite and helpful (putting on the salesmans ​charm) and assured my wife and I that our bed would arrive in two weeks. We put half down on the bed and left feeling good about the transaction.After two weeks had passed and we did not hear back from the store I called to check the status of our order. I was assured that the order was coming in on that day and I would be receiving a call when it was ready. The next day we received the call and was informed that the bed that came was the wrong bed and needed to be reordered. Gary informed me that it was their mistake and that he could reorder the bed or give us a refund. The refund wouldnt have helped us at all so we decided to go ahead and have the store reorder. I was informed it would be another two weeks at least. When questioned if they do rush delivery for mistakes like this Gary said no because beds get damaged that way. Im sure they just didnt want to pay for the service.Another two and a half weeks go by and I call back for a status and Gary says that it would be coming in that day and he would contact me when available for pickup. Two days later after no call, I call the store and Gary says that he hasnt taken the order off of the pallet yet and would call me in a few hours. An hour and a half later he calls me and says it is ready to go.After getting to the store there is no apology or sincerity for the mistake or delay and I have to pay the remaining balance.Gary helps to load the pieces into the truck and assures me that everything is present. As Im putting the bed together with my daughter I find that Im missing half of the hardware needed to assemble the bed completely. My wife calls the store and Gary answers, puts her on hold, then answers and tells her he will have to call her back because he is busy with a customer.Half hour goes buy and he informs us that he has the missing pieces and that the store closes at 8pm so that we can come and get them.After returning to the store the hardware is just sitting on the counter and no one is present. Finally a woman comes to the counter and we tell her why were there. She told us that she would have to get Gary. Gary comes out with a cocky smile and says he put extra pieces in the bag in case. Could have saved him the fifty steps and the woman could have just given us the hardware.It couldnt​ be more blatantly obvious that all they cared about was my money because as soon as they got a portion of it they no longer gave a damn about us.Save yourself the trouble and shop elsewhere.

Small place and doesnt have a lot of full size bunk beds. Thats what I was looking for, specifically. But the staff is nice and its quiet there too so thats a plus! :)

I have a bed in purchased in 2011. When we recently took it out of storage(we have guests coming) we discovered several parts were lost during a recent move. I went to the Greenfield store. Gary(the manager/owner) was very helpful/professional and was able to source parts for me, despite the fact that the model was discontinued. To find service like this today is extremely rare. I highly recommend the store and service for your bedding and furniture needs.

Its a nice and quiet place with friendly staff and so much selection for beds, especially for kids! They have so many different designs and styles! Its like a wonderland walking through! I, myself, bought a junior loft for my child with stairs leading up and a small crawlspace underneath the bed. It was neat! But the concern I have is for the way it was composed. Although it was a great design idea, some parts of it were annoying. It was made out of wood that must have not been sanded correctly because every corner was sharp and hurt if you rubbed against it. And the stairs had an annoying piece that was hard for my child to climb into bed at night. All in all, good place, but some flaws in the design.

My wife and I just purchased a twin over full staircase bunk bed from Gary. We went in the store twice as a family (thats 2 adults and 4 kids under 4) and although my wife was a little stressed out that my kids wanted to try every bed, the staff were super relaxed about it. I have read a few reviews that state the staff was unfriendly or rude. To me it felt like a family owned business, no one was rude, but you just have to ask if you have a question. Personally, I prefer this - it give you the freedom to look at your leisure without feeling pressured. BUT, when we had questions (and I ask a lot of questions) everyone was super attentive. We took some pics with our cell phones, left and decided later what we wanted - all I had to do was pick up the phone and call to place my order.I cant speak to the negative reviews where individuals stated they waited more than the standard 10-14 days for their items, but I can tell you that when we received our order 14 days after the order and I opened up the boxes to put it together, I could see (and smell) that the items were recently stained per our order. So its possible some of the delays were not on Bunks & Beds end, but on the manufacturing end.I did have to call a couple of times to check on the status of the order, partly due to my own personality. I would say that if you:1) Go in expecting it to be a low-sales-pitch environment where someone is not trailing you through the store, but know you can ask questions at any time and get a pleasant response.and2) Anticipate waiting for your merchandise if you order something that has to be made (and being ok with proactively calling them for updates)You can expect to have a very pleasant experience. The quality of the furniture we purchased was extremely good and less than we would have spent online (even on Amazon). And I do believe they price match if you do find something online. They have an excellent display of bunk and regular beds for kids - more than anywhere else I have seen - it really helps to see how the kids can get up there and how high the sides on the top bunk are.Sorry for the long review - Give them a shot, just set your expectations up front that it will not be pushy sales and you may have to be proactive on the back end to see how your order is coming along (when you do call, they treat you well).

We have purchased furniture here multiple times over the years and have always had great service. Quality is great and furniture is the same as you find at places like Colders only at a fraction of the cost. We even bought our king size bookcase bedroom set here that has held up wonderfully for our bedroom so it is not only kids furniture! We will always go here first when in need.

Please read the reviews before you purchase anything. My husband and I found out the hard way. We were looking for a headboard for our daughters bed. Gary was sleep when we went in to look at the headboards. He woke up and we looked at the headboards. We left and came back because we had purchased bunk beds for our sons when they were younger. That is why we thought to go back.We purchased a headboard because it had a bookshelf and lights. When we paid for the headboard Gary said, we could pick it up with our car. I wanted it delivered. Gary insisted we pick it up because it would cost $59.00 to deliver. So we picked it up. When Gary put the headboard in our he let the headboard slide down and it scratched our car. Gary looked at our car and said that there is a scratch on our car. He did the damaged and now he is denying it. Gary refused and lied to the insurance company so they dont have to pay to fix my car. I called and talked to Kathy when I said I was going to FOX6 News and Better Business Bureau. Kathy said if I go that route that they cant help me and then I agreed to give them another chance. Then she called me back within ten minutes saying that she needed to give the insurance my information. The headboard was scratched and it did not fit the new bed frame. Kathy called the people I bought the bed frame to see if it was an universal frame. The delivery people came out and forced the headboard on the frame and now the frame is bent.Since February when we picked up the headboard and I called about the car and headboard they have refused to do anything about the problems I have had. Kathy did call me back about the headboard but not about our car and bed frame. Finally when Kathy called me back she said the bed frame is not there problem but they forced headboard on. I called them multiple times to get this problem solved they only called me back only a few time.

2 years ago we purchased our sons furniture here. Friendly and knowledgable staff. That, and add the quality of product for the price you wont beat it. Well be back again shortly for our daughters set up without hesitation.

Not very friendly in store. Promised us our bunk bed would be in/available for pick-up within 10 days. We had to call on day 11 to check status. Was told it wasnt in, no apology or explanation offered. My husband called the next day to check status, and he was informed by the owner of the store that they sent an email to the shipment facility and were awaiting further information. Both owners avoided my husbands calls and were unapologetic for the fact that our bed FINALLY arrived 7 days late. We asked for some sort of compensation, to which they refused. Will never shop here again, and hopefully my honest review will keep others from shopping here as well.Update on my review above: One day after I posted my review, my husband received a phone call from the store, informing him that they had seen our review, and wanted to know what they could do to make it right for us. Gary apologized and blamed the freight company, but never once took ownership for the mistakes that his business made. My husband explained to Gary that the end-user should not be penalized for their poor choice of freight companies. Garys main interest was the removal of this negative review, as negative reviews result in possible loss of future business.Gary offered my husband $50 to make this post go away, to which we respectfully declined. $50 was less than 10% of our total purchase. Sales tax alone is 5.1%. Hence, 10% was an insulting offer.Its unfortunate that it took a negative review online for this business to offer a resolution to its customers, when we initially asked for some sort of compensation due to their poor service to which they declined.Your most unhappy customers are your greatest source of learning. -Bill Gates

My husband and I came here looking for new mattresses for my kids and we were really impressed with their selection and their great customer service. They had what we wanted in stock and even helped us load them in our vehicle. If you are looking for kids bedroom furniture and/or mattresses- look no further!! Awful service and traumatic experience. We went to buy a full bedroom set for our little son. The owner of the store was not friendly and seemed uninterested in selling. We placed the order and were expecting to receive the bedroom set in 3 weeks. No word after 3 weeks. I called the store, the owner responded saying that they sent him the wrong bed size and that he needed 2 more weeks to redeliver. He was not apologetic and asked me immediately if I wanted to cancel the order. I was puzzled and I said we paid for the bedroom and we need it. Two weeks passed and again no follow-up, I called and the owner said the dresser was no longer available and asked if I wanted to replace it. I said yes and he provided a delivery date of Aug 3. The worst part was the delivery company that they deal with. It is called Service Delivery Inc. On Aug 3rd, two men arrived and one of them looked drugged and angry and started rubbing his face and screaming profanities because I did not give him $125 in cash before they even offloaded the furniture (I gave an entire online review about Service Delivery Inc). I called Bunks and Beds to complain about the behavior of the guy. The immediate reaction by the Bunks and Beds owner was These guys do not work for us. He was concerned about defending himself rather than worrying about his customers safety. I reminded him that he recommended and put us in contact with this company otherwise they would not be in my house. We had to fire the delivery service and threaten to call 911 if they did not leave. And we ended up cancelling an order that took 2 months. All is all terrible experience.

Gary was SOOOO helpful. He knew EXACTLY what I was talking about when I called, even though I had never head of a split box foundation for a full until a friend on the east coast mentioned it. Gary made this process SOOO easy. I had called another store--one that is a national brand--I got sent to two different people, and they told me what I was looking for didnt exist. HA--they should have been trained by Gary. Thank you Gary for SAVING MY BACK. I LOVE sleeping in my bed now :-)

3rd visit hoping they would change inventory bit have had the same things for the past five years. They must of had a water leak because they have ceiling tile missing and mold all over the tiles. The water buckets were sitting on beds we were looking at.

This was the worst I ever had. I was recommended to come here and I gave them a chance. Well I should have just saved my money and time. I went in and paid for the bed set and the mattress about early May. They did advise me that it will be about two weeks for the mattress to come in. So I said OK and I ordered delivery service and they advised there would be a call from them. Well I waited and waited and it was like a month later no call or anything so I had to call them I was advised Ill get a call back well still no call back so by this time its the middle of June now and I happened to call and asked where is my bedroom set and the lady then advised she will call me back again it took a while for a return call so by this time I said Im going somewhere else. Because they wanted to play the blame game on delivery and when it was sent so I said well now Ill give someone else a chance so then the manager called and and i gave another chance which was stupid of me and then get to delivery day no call Im just waiting again its me reaching out to everyone no one actually reaching out to me as I was going to call to let them know this was it because I have called and called and then comes a knock on the door then the delivery person gave a number of which I have no idea to. I just advised them that I was about to call and cancel because this is ridiculous. I will advise that if you yourself cant get the product that you want that same day or next then dont you will be waiting forever. I have waited two months for a kids bed set because of lack of communication errors .

Great place. So much value for your money

Even though they are going out of business which I can tell why. These people took $305.00 off my card and did not want to own up to it or give me my money back. They had my address wrong for the delivery and stated they I did not pay for delivery and set up when I was told it was included in my payment that I had already. This place is unprofessional and dont handle business right. I can see why they are going out of business.

Rude and dispondent staff. We walked through and we were treated as if we were an inconvenience. None of the seeming related and extremely odd staff did a thing, or said a word to us, or offered any sort of guest service. They all seemed very concerned about anything but the store they were running. I wouldnt buy a thing from these people even if they were selling 10 beds for a dollar. Dont bother going here, kids are in bunks for such a short time- so do yourself a favor and look on Craigs list! This place is a hap-hazardly run joke!
