I frequent this store weekly. I am always greeted by the kind and welcoming employees. Each experience I have at the store is a positive one and all that work here are incredibly knowledgeable in their store merchandise. I enjoy being a customer here and recommend this store to everyone. I have noticed that all of their products are fresh and great quality. The store is, overall, very neat, clean, well-stocked and everything I need is always easy to find.

Great selection of all different kinds of foods: Russian, Ukrainian, Lithuanian, Polish. I was amazed. The store owner Ina that runs the place is really cool. Super clean store too!!! Awesome service all over the store and great assortment. Definitely love going there.

My kids and I wanted to try authentic Russian food and they found SMAK online, so we thought we would give it a try. It turned out to be a GREAT place! The staff is awesome, the variety of different European foods is superb, and I highly recommend this store to everyone!

Extremely nice staff and owners with very wide variety of goods from all over the world. Only place we were able to find a quality large outdoors cooking pot/cauldron with lid and hearth as well as portable barbecue grille which are now being used almost weekly by a community of 30-50 people. I would definitely recommend this business and will shop at this location myself again in the future!!!

Our to go grocery store for delicious European food and sweets away from home , most of the European groceries that we had growing up ! Cakes and sweets always fresh and staff is always happy and friendly ! Bread is baked fresh! A lot of different variety of sausages and kielbasas and smoked fish .

This place is really small but they have all kind of exported items. From leave tea,cookies, spices, perishables and none-perishable items even a small bakery section . I just only wish was a better customer service. More kind and friendly.

Nice spot for eastern European delicacies. I couldnt read much which made me trust its authenticity.I must add that the pickles I bought were perfect. But their selection is so large I will have to go back a few times to try them all and more if the ones we already tried.

You’re not living until you have had their honey cake. My sisters and I were looking for a dessert place and this came up, we weren’t sure what to expect when going in. I will remember this place for the rest of my life. We went to get some sweet treats and than a few minutes later came back for sausage and it was hands down the best I’ve ever had. The sweetest people you’ll ever meet working and when we were heading out they gave us a half a loaf of bread for free!! Please get out and support small businesses especially this one!

Go get yourself an entire honey cake! Hands down the most delicious piece of cake I’ve ever had. Fun sweet treats galore. Also, Do. Not. Forget. The. Sausage. Cheese. And. Bread! Such a gem in Anoka. To top it off, MOST helpful staff around!

This place is beyond amazing! From their fresh cake selection, honey cake is my personal favorite to the large selection of European teas and wall of candy (that you get to try first). I cant speak more highly of this perfect little shop. If you are lucky enough to come on a Saturday around lunch time, they have a delicious homemade treat of meat and spices in bread! My mouth is watering as I type. The staff is beyond helpful and kind.

A slice of the old country, with products unmatched by what you can find in your local supermarket. The freshly baked bread and honey cakes taste of home and rival that of the Dutch Maid Bakery. With delightful knick knacks & snacks, you can get your fix of Eastern European fare here and proper! My only complaint is that it needs more floor space that it truly deserves!

Smak Delicacies has become a regular stop for me and I would highly recommend it to anyone. They have a wide variety of foods that I generally dont see anywhere else. The smoked fish and meat selection are extensive and very high quality. The bakery is really top tier excellence. Ive preferred baked goods from Smak over any other bakery in the area (and I really like my bakery foods!). The staff in-store is always helpful and very friendly!If you have a chance, stop in and look around. I guarantee itll be worth the trip!

Honestly the nicest Eastern European grocery store in the metro and I have been to them all over the past 18 years and even worked at one. Very clean store, friendly staff, well-stocked and most importantly reasonably priced. Great selection of all the products I miss from home and an amazing bakery. Absolutely worth the 22 mile drive for me.

I stopped in with my MIL, and we each found some treats. Almost everything has a foreign label on it, so I had to go by pictures on the labels, but its an import store so its much expected! There is a very welcoming feel to the store, from the moment you walk in. Nice music, very well organized. Something for everyone! We will be back!

This is a great Russian Store. They have a very large variety of merchandise from fresh cakes and meats to canned goods and candies. I have been going there since i was little, and I really like how the employees can speak both English and Russian. I especially think that the employee named Valya is great at her job! She is super friendly and knows about everything in the store.

Also have a bakery at the checkout. All the baked goods looked delish. Customer service is excellent and they were very helpful with our questions. This place is a little gem for sure. Go here. Seriously go here; I cannot stress enough how AMAZING it is. This little Russian bakery and grocery store. They have tons of unique small treats, candies and cakes upto full food items like sausage or fish filets. Many of the items are imported from Russia, Ukraine, Germany etc. And they taste much differently then our American counterpart. Less refined sugar, more natural ingredients and less artificial junk.Vayla was the gal working and she was just an amazing warm-hearted woman. She gave us samples, and a loaf of bread that is very popular.The cakes are divine and soo many ginger treats! We stopped in again and met another lovely gal Elvirya who took time to help translate a few Russian items that my Google translate struggled with.Please check it out, support this place so it can remain open forever. They are following social distances and mask, hand sanitation at the register and a very clean store.We have stopped a few times and the most recent change was the addition of *meat pockets*. These are only on the weekend from 11-12 on Saturdays Scrumptious little dough wrapped meat things. The gal who was working was unable to explain what it was to me. Very delicious!

I highly recommend SMAK Russian grocery store, their food is always super fresh, they have the best cakes for celebrations, staff are super nice.On the weekends they sell freshly baked beliashi and other bulochki with potatoes or cabbage yummm 😋. I also like this store because it’s appropriate and they play christian music, I like that a lot.
