Great store. Bought the best pair of boots Ive had from here. Ive worn them for the last 4 years everyday to work. Carolina brand work boots (Made in the USA). Great service and received a great boot education as well. Headed back to have new soles put on.
WONDERFUL customer service! Extremely helpful and friendly, took time to size me correctly and get the right shoe for my foot. Also GREAT work. Soles and heels were EXCEPTIONAL. Boots I purchased are of great quality and have held up very well over the years.
Dropped off a bag to get a new strap put on, was told 6-8 weeks. After 8 weeks, I called and was informed We didnt mean 8 weeks on the dot, itll be another week. After nearly THIRTEEN WEEKS, with NO phone call, I just had to pick up my bag and get a refund. They could not do as they said they could, and NOTHING had been done to my bag. They then chose to notify us that the person that was supposed to be working on my bag was fired. EXTREMELY disappointed in GEM Shoe Repair.

First impression was fantastic! Tammy took the time to know what I wanted and what I needed. She got me different types of shoes to try on, and before I knew it we had shoes all over the floor. I can’t wait to feel comfortable while at work in my new shoes. I would recommend them to anyone.
Very disappointed. After calling and being assured that they clean thousand dollar boots everyday and they knew what they were doing. I took in my leather wallet to be cleaned. After about two weeks I got a call saying my wallet was ready. When I got there to pick it up, my heart sunk. My wallet looked as if someone tried to paint it with paint that was way too light in color and had what appeared to be brush strokes all over it. I was heart broken. The wallet was a gift from a friend and means a great deal to me, not to mention it cost over $100. Thankfully, I was able to find someone who could make it look slightly better. Unfortunately, its still not the same. I would never recommend GEM Shoe repair to anyone.

Bought brand new Thorogood boots from them, within 1 week the boots were coming apart on the side and they refused to fix or exchange them, despite having a warranty on the boots!
