Pam and Ryan made selecting cabinet hardware and lighting for our new construction home an easy and enjoyable process!! They were so patient, helpful, and knowledgeable. They really helped make our new home shine! When we received everything it was organized and packed with diagrams so our contractors could install easily. They really made the process stress free. They made sure we had everything we needed down to light bulbs and switches. I would recommend them over and over again. Everything we bought was good quality and at a good price!

Excellent place - always have what I need at a good price and are extremely knowledgeable.

We have to give mixed review and it is primarily due to one sales person. Virtually everyone we deal with here is fantastic, with the exception of one who was ultimately fairly rude. First, the products. Great lighting selection and best display (and knowledge) of cabinet hardware that we have found. Some of the same brands and fixtures can be found elsewhere for a fair amount less. Having said that, we believe the service and ability to view the choices can often justify a higher price. They also carry unique items tough to find elsewhere and when we had a problem with a Minka ceiling fan we purchased (actually, problem with two), they handled it easily and quickly. Having said that, they knew the fan was prone to problems and did not share that info. at purchase. Over the years we have purchased a fair amount here and purchased most of what we needed for our current project here (price difference on a few things was just too significant to overlook). We ultimately decided to deal with Rochelle in hardware and the fabulous contractors counter personnel because of the issues with the salesperson. So, definitely shop them. Just do your research.

Jessi helped us choose lighting for a remodeling project and her help was priceless. She invested time ahead of our appointment to understand our project space, needs, and style preferences and because of this was able to quickly steer us to things we really liked. This made what would have otherwise been an overwhelming shopping task into a fun and easy experience.

I just walked into this store for the first time,there is a doorbell that alerts employees when a customer arrives.But I walked around for five minutes trying to find someone to help me, and the only worker I saw, a 40s-50s gray-haired man, looked right at me multiple times, but literally kept walking away from me as I was trying to follow him across the store to ask a question, until finally he walked thru an employees-only door.I stood there for several minutes waiting. I could hear at least 2 employees chit-chatting in the back, but no one came out, so I left.I was stopping in to purchase about $1,900 worth of lights. I will not be returning, but hopefully the management can update their customer service by seeing this, because there are truly amazing products in this store, that I havent seen anywhere else

I love Gross Electric!! Their staff is so friendly and helpful! We worked with Pam to select lighting for our new house and she made it so fun. She quickly picked up on what we liked and steered us toward those types of items. She came out to our home and checked that what we selected would be appropriate for the amount of light we needed, and made a great alternative suggestion when she could tell that one light fixture wouldnt be enough light for our stairway. We went back last year to select lighting for our patio. Love it!! Thanks PAM!!

Spoke with 2 gentlemen in the span of 5 minutes. Both had smarmy attitudes, rude, and one was particularly impatient. Tall fat guy was passive aggressive to a Tee. Wish i could have video taped it and submitted it as the Wikipedia video definition.

I worked with a great team at Gross Electric. Pam was very helpful and knowledgeable in planning and choosing lighting for my new kitchen. Al made sure all of my new lighting hung just right. And Rochelle gave great advice about choosing cabinet hardware. Everyone worked to be sure I was 100% satisfied.

The store manager in Toledo, Allen Laural, was so helpful! We love all the light fixtures, knobs and pulls we purchased and the ceiling fan is on its way! A great experience all around :)

Very frustrated with this store. Have been trying for 2 weeks to get a tool to remove blades from our Minka fan so we can get it down since we cannot remove the globe with it up. Right now, neither the fan or light are working. We misplaced the original tool and called Gross to try to get a replacement. They said they would call Minka. They never called and then said they didnt think there was such a tool and when we insisted there was (it was in the paperwork that came with the fan) they called Minka and found out there was a tool and said they would have Minka send one to them and we could pick it up at their store. Called back after over a week and they couldnt find the order (had our last name spelled wrong) and questioned if we had actually purchased the fan there (we did)! So now, over two week later, we are still without a working fan (and much worse, no light in the small kitchen). I thought I was going to a reputable place (instead of big box store). Very unhappy with this store and their terrible customer service.Update on my review . . tool came in today. Went in there to pick it up after woman from Gross called me to say it was in (hmm after I complained on here). She asked me why we needed to take the blades off to remove the fan and I said my son was disabled and it was too hard for him to try to remove the fan with the blades still on. She said oh, ok. HOWEVER, when we went to pick them up at the store we were at the counter and this same woman that I talked to on the phone (large woman with spiky red hair) was on a phone call with someone (higher up I assume) and was talking loudly about our phone conversation. I know she was talking about my discussion with her on the phone because she repeated verbatim what I had said to her. She said that she couldnt understand why we couldnt get the fan down with the blades still on and mentioned that I had said my son was challenged. She also said we should called Minka first, even though they said to go back to your original vendor for replacement parts. This was said loud enough so anyone could hear. I will never purchase from them again!. Why is anyone in the middle of the store on a phone talking about a customer? AND we were asked continually if we had purchased from this store, not just once. Also asked if we had spelled our name right???? This is not good customer service, it is deplorable.

This place is a joke. I went in for a part for a light. TWICE they took down my contact info and said they would check with their supplier, and NOT ONCE did they call back. I will be looking elsewhere from here on out.
