These guys resurrected my Macbook Pro after it was completely dead. They are able to do in-depth diagnostics (which were required in this case) and figured out that it needed a new internal board. I was having a hard time using Migration Assistant to transfer everything from my old iMac desktop to a new one. I finally gave in and handed the job over to Amir at Apples & Oranges. Got a mailicious malware and took computer in. They fixed in a few hours for modest cost and showed me how to chnage my Norton settings for better protection.

Lost all my data from a drive and did all I could to recover it, finally knew I had to take it in. They’re open on Saturdays which is a big bonus. Got it in quickly and they were communicative which was nice. Got my data back and they were very helpful in showing me what was on the new drive and giving tips about how to get everything back up and running!

They fixed the problem quickly and took a lot of additional time to explain to me (a tech-impaired dinosaur) what was done and how to download programs I need and proceed from there without problems. I had a flash drive that contained just about everything that was important - current projects, schoolwork, notes, etc. I became too used to it being wiggly and it finally broke right around the time that I had several papers and projects due. I first tried going to Best Buy (never again!) then to a friends house where we tried a DIY soldering job. I ended up taking the fried flash drive to Apples and Oranges who were incredibly kind and really pulled out all the stops to try and get it working again. (And in the end, they were successful! The turn around was also fairly quick, especially in comparison to other repair places.)They were super communicative and let me know of potential options and price ranges and I never felt (like I have at other repair places) like they were trying to just get money out of me. Brought my MacBook Pro back to life after water damage

I accidently spilled a drink on my computer and was devastated when I thought I wouldnt be able to do my school work on it! Luckily, I found Apples and Oranges Computer Repair only a 5 minute walk from my apartment and got it back good as new only 2 days later! Last fall I went in there with a laptop that wouldnt charge hoping for help determining if it was a broken charger or a broken laptop. The guy wanted me to give him $75 to take the laptop apart to reset it. I told him I wasnt giving him that much money, and I explained that I was just looking to see if they had a working charger they could use to test it. He responded aggressively and basically called me a punk trying to get free service and that he knew what the problem was (before he even held the laptop). Ill never go back here. Seems they take advantage of the wealthier kids who dont know what is going on. I ordered a charger off of amazon and the laptop charged right up, no dismantle and reset necessary.

Apples and Oranges was great; my laptop has had the same issue twice (manufacturer error, no functioning logic board). I went to the apple store the first time, where they charged me $475 for a new one(despite it being a manufacturer error that was not my fault - which they told me). The second time it failed, I had just gotten liquid damage recovery from Apples and Oranges and even though the logic board failure was independent of the liquid damage, they replaced it for FREE because of the close proximity to their treatment...this was shocking considering Apple charged $475! Can’t recommend this place enough!
