We ordered face masks from Little Seedling. These are really good face masks and are being used by our teachers. The Little Seedling was extremely responsive and went out of their way to quickly resolve a small issue with the order. I would highly recommend this company and will go to them for my future needs. The Little Seedling is a wonderful small business. They have amazing customer service. My favorite thing about the store is the amazing recommendations they have for gifts! No matter the kid (or adult :)) they always know just want to recommend. From birthdays, newborns babies, postpartum and care packages they have it and will even wrap and ship the gift. Little Seedling is AMAZING. They have been incredibly helpful with everything from finding the perfect car seat to finding pajamas that fit our chubby little one. I never feel like they are selling me on things. Just genuinely want to help. And if I dont feel like doing a lot of research to find what is best for my baby, I know they have already put in that time and energy so I can just buy whatever they carry.

This is a one-of-a-kind local store hidden in the back of a parking lot where you wouldnt normally see it. We have always had a lot of great service here. From helping us pick out a fantastic baby carrier to filling a 33 item order for curbside in 20 minutes (saving me another trip!) I love their support for not only their employees, but many of the local businesses in the area. You can tell they really care about making their customers happy with their products. We have been shopping at The Little Seedling for years and always appreciate the high quality service and great selection of toys & clothing. Even during the COVID-19 pandemic they have found ways to continue to offer their outstanding service. This week my 5 year old needed new snow gear and Little Seedling staff helped me by text to identify the best items for him. When we went to do curbside pick-up, my kiddo was able to try on the items and we were able to make an exchange for a smaller size on the spot.

As a young adult, I do not yet have my own kids but have many, many friends with little ones. The Little Seedling is always my go-to because of their selection of brands you really cant find elsewhere. Ive found that shopping online can be super overwhelming (especially if youre not a parent and have no idea what to get!!) but Ive always found the staff to be exceptionally helpful and knowledgable. They also have some items for adults such as awesome masks, pop sockets, and feminine products!

The selection in this store seems really great(lots of stuff you don’t see just anywhere), and I can appreciate a business for moms run by moms. And I felt that during this pandemic I should try to shop local for a large baby gear purchase, and keep my money local. But I had to bring my kid into the store, mind you she was NOT behaving(at all...which is already embarrassing), but I felt judged for having a misbehaving toddler and the patience with me and my child was very thin. I appreciate the abundance of caution being taken during a pandemic, but keeping a toddler’s hands off of things in a children’s store is a big ask. I understand the limited hours, but that also gives limited opportunity for moms to come in and shop without their children. We sanitized our hands and both had masks on, I’m not sure how much more you can ask of a child in a child wonderland. For being a very openly mom run business it didn’t feel very mom or child friendly. I didn’t feel welcome or wanted, so I ordered my products online instead.

I cant speak highly enough of my experience with this store. I was trying to find a replacement part to a stroller and get it shipped ASAP. I found The Little Seedling online and reached out to ask about rush shipping options. The store responded quickly with a shipping quote and was ready to get it sent to me, but mentioned that they had asked in a retailer group about if someone closer to me could fullfill the order and save me some $$. I ended up getting the part faster and for less shipping cost from another store, all thanks to The Little Seedling. During these tough times they gave up a sale to help me. I wish I was in Ann Arbor to do more shopping there!

This is my favorite baby store. :) Its so easy to ask questions online and get answers, especialy help with sizing and even ideas for presents. During the pandemic its been great to have that extra help and quick and easy curbside pickup. I have been able to get some fun playroom activities, toys for my older kids, some new bottles, and my last babys first shoes! THanks for being here for us during this crazy time!

Their staff always goes way beyond expectation. I went in looking for shoes to fit my sons tall and wide feet; they recommended specific brands based on his feet, fitted him and he no longer resists putting on shoes. Theyve helped me numerous times with cloth diapers, and discussing carseats and strollers. They have a beautiful selection and stand behind their products. Bonus points for awesome playspace so my kids ask to go.

The Little Seedling is a great store for all stuff baby and kids. But the best thing is the amazing customer service, and always going above and beyond for their customers. I wanted a specific scooter for my son for his birthday. It was not a model they normally had in stock, but they ordered specially for me and sent it right to my house. Pre-Covid, if someone was in town and needed something (eg stroller), they would deliver it right to the hotel. Molly and her staff go the extra 10 miles to make sure their customers are happy 😃

I increased my local business shopping during the pandemic. I have always wanted to shop more at TLS but its a hike across town (like Ypsi). There was a big pull for me to start shopping here because they carried a nice variety of childrens masks (and my guys are tiny!). So now I regularly get the disposable ones to keep on hand, you know, in case one falls in the dirt, or to keep in the backpack for daycare and car, just in case! Since I started purchasing masks, I started purchasing other items and have been very happy with them! Now there are a few regular things I purchase. I have mostly shopped online and the staff are so fast! Their accommodations during covid have been top notch. I love that the store and owner are members of our community and support it in many ways.

I should have written this review over a year ago when I was pregnant. I’ve worked in customer service for over a decade, and the service TLS provides is second to none. The Little Seedling is a gem of a shop, whose employees go out of their way to make sure you are taken care of and are leaving with exactly what you came in for—even if it’s just an answer to a question or reassurance that you’re doing great as a parent. Their team has saved me on a number of occasions, and I know I can always trust their knowledge and expertise. Whether it was Marie, taking the time to bring me the right diaper insert after I left with the wrong one; Annie, taking the time to walk us through every step of getting to know our car seat and how to install it; Marion, helping us figure out how to properly put our newborn in our carrier; or Molly, answering every single question my husband and I had about every single car seat AND stroller, their employees are there to serve and ultimately make life as a parent easier and a little brighter. Our little family is so grateful we get to grow up with such a valuable resource!

When asked if she would do anything to compensate for the false advertisement or honor it, the answer was no.Their site has a coupon link but no code was available.It is COVIDs fault.It could be to their advantage to work with their customers. Everyone is dealing with COVID not just them.Use a store that values their customers.

I LOVE this place! They always go above and beyond, COVID or no COVID. Throughout the varying degrees of COVID lockdown I have done so many curbside purchases to fill our house (inside and out) with fun things for my 2 and 4 year old to do-SO many options! They have always been so response via email if I have questions or need suggestions. I have felt very safe with how theyre handling COVID and appreciate the amount of thought and care theyve gone to to keep everyone safe. I HIGHLY recommend!

I’ve been a customer here for nearly ten years and the customer service has always been top notch. The products they carry are great and the employees are always very knowledgeable as well as helpful. There are tons of fun things for all ages, from shoes to toys to clothing. I love their loyalty program too, but my favorite is their attention to little details that make shopping with my family so much easier. There are nursing chairs, toys to entertain kids, and family friendly restrooms. The Little Seedling is so thoughtful in making shopping a good experience for the whole family.

I wouldnt buy a car seat anywhere else. I went back on 2 separate occasions and Marie was so patient and helpful. The price is the same as Amazon and in addition I had someone actually go out to my vehicle, show me exactly how to do it, answer questions, help me with the car seats I already have that I didnt even buy there (Marie discovered a safety concern on one of them that wasnt caught when we had the seat checked elsewhere), and lifetime assistance on the ones I did. Recently went for the first time and was very impressed! My particularly picky and crazy toddler needed a new pair of sandals. The lady helping us was SO PATIENT and kind. In fact, several employees were exceptionally friendly. The store is also stocked with lots of cool and unique baby and kid items that you cant easily find elsewhere. I also found out that this place is owned by a local momma! I am happy to support local vs big box stores or online. Will return for sure!

The best cloth diaper destination in the area!! Amazing baby merchandise! Experts to help you along the way. The junior staff is always fun to see too. I just read they are remodeling the diaper selection. Maybe decreasing it. This makes me sad. My boys are out of diapers now but the little seedling helped us on diaper journey. I’ve shopped at TLS for about 8 years and it’s such a gem. Full disclosure, after shopping there for 3 years I had the pleasure of joining the staff for 4 years. I no longer work there but I love my time there both as an employee and a patron. They really do care so much about their guests - of all ages - and strive to provide the best customer service in a clean and helpful storefront. I appreciate being able to find quality and SAFE products that will last through my kids and be passed on to others in our family. They keep their inventory fresh - bringing in new fantastic products - while keeping valuable standbys in stock. The thing I loved most about working there was watching families grow and being able to help new parents at a time when so much in their lives felt overwhelming (whatever stage that may be). I think that speaks to the heart and mission of the store. Thanks to Molly and everyone else that keeps a great community going.

I love shopping here for my kids shoes! They know how to fit my daughters narrow feet with a proper shoe. We also have bought our kids gifts here, they Have a great toy selection as well as books and clothes. I highly recommend TLS.

For the most part knowledgeable and friendly staff. Mostly cater to their frequent/loyal customers to the point where they seem a little snobbish to new clientele or those who havent shopped with them much. Large selection of products for babies and kids, including local brands. And Molly will try to special order items on brands they carry if they dont have any in stock. This is a higher end boutique so its pricier than chain baby stores but you get individualized service and the prices are fairly competitive. You definitely get what you pay for.

Its a great shop. Lot of high quality items on stock. Decent prices for local retail. Of course, they sell mostly premium brands so its not for savvy customers. I liked the kid area that allows moms to shop with some peace of mind.

Store is clean and bright with changing tables in the back with complimentary diapers and wipes if you forget yours (which I did!). Theres a play area for the kids to hang out in while parents shop and a couple of big comfy chairs to sit in and feed a baby.The staff is generally very knowledgeable about the products they carry and if theres something you want that they dont have theyll order it for you and ship it to your house for no extra cost.By far my favorite store for baby-toddler stuff.

Reward program is a waste and poor customer service communication. It took me 6 years , 5 emails, and 3 phone calls to get a straight answer to two questions: How much do I have available in rewards and can I use them towards a $497 purchase? However, despite earning $75 in rewards (that never expire) in one purchase 6 years ago, I had to not only drive 1 hour to the store ($20 in gas alone) but also could only use $5 towards my planned purchase.BE WARNED: $5 rewards earned per $100 spent can ONLY be redeemed IN-PERSON and in ONLY $5 increments PER visit.Great, if you live next door and buy a lot of little baby stuff or have a lot of babies.... but not me.

I came here to learn about cloth diapering and they definitely are knowledgeable and helpful! They have a huge variety and lots of toys to keep the toddlers busy while shopping. Cloth diapering has been a great change from regular disposables in this stagnant/poor Obama economy.

I am most often here for cloth diapering supplies. There is a cute little play area for young children. Its a bit pricey. The employees are very helpful and knowledgeable. I have run into a couple employees that were a bit pretentious.

Whenever I am in Ann Arbor I like to pop in; this is a quality local business, and I prefer them over any other green or cloth diapering retailer in Michigan. Their prices are competitive with other retailers (online or brick-and-mortar), though the goods they sell tend to be pricier in general (of course, I think anyone that is drawn to this type of store already knows that going in). The staff has always been friendly and helpful (Im sorry to hear about lack of service with the other reviewer; that has never been my experience) - a nice balance of assistance without being overbearing at the same time.

The staff at the Little Seedling has gone above and beyond for us during our hunt for the perfect stroller and infant car seat combo. There are so many options out there it can be confusing! My husband and I live in Grand Rapids but when we were around Ann Arbor one weekend, we decided to make the trip to the Little Seedling to look at Uppababy and Nuna combos. The LS is one of two stores in the state the carry the Nuna brand (the other store is Nordstrom but we like supporting small local businesses!) and we wanted to see it before making a decision. When youre spending that much on baby gear you want to make sure the quality is there. We decided to go with the Nuna brand and put it on our baby shower registry. They have worked with us every step of the way to let us know when the car seat is shipping and ordering the stroller in the color we wanted. There has been a lot of back and forth with our transaction but Id do it all over again because their customer service is so wonderful. There are a lot of big box stores that offer baby items but well choose to support the Little Seedling whenever we can with larger purchases because they truly care about their customers. I could go on and on with how happy weve been with this purchase so whether youre in Ann Arbor, Grand Rapids, or somewhere else in the country, give them a chance to earn your business and youll be happy you did! (The rewards program isnt something well be able to take advantage of seeing as how we dont live in Ann Arbor, but that wasnt my intention going into the purchase).
