Placed an order online, wasn’t even started until we came in. Latte was actually undrinkable, it was monstrously heavy on flavor syrup and tasted terrible. Took over 15 minutes to get an order that had been placed 20 minutes before. This place has been good in the past but this is not acceptable for the price

Such a cool spot and the baristas are perfect. They take their time and deliver a winning product. The pace and pastries are sublime. Nero for the win.

Such a gem. Got avocado and salmon toast, an oatmilk latte and a slice of lemon cake (not pictured) as a sweet treat. All were delicious but the real star is the ambiance. The rustic shelves lined with gorgeous bound books is perfection. Will definitely return.

Was in the area with a few friends on our Sunday bike ride early morning to a car show. Breakfast was in order and one of the guys suggested Caffe Nero. 👍👍 yes sir!!! The made to order banana and strawberry smoothie was excellent, also had a egg and bacon biscuit and that hit the spot. That set the mood for a day of riding. The lines move slow but its worth the wait.

I came from out of town and decided to come to this little cute coffee shop to get a relaxing drink. I got a caramel latte which was delicious! The staff was very friendly and helpful!

Wicked overpriced. Mobile ordering takes forever- 40 minutes when it said it would take less than 10????? Coffee is okay but the sandwiches are disgusting. And for the price point? Forget it! Literally the worst place to get coffee in Andover.

Two stars instead of the one for the location in Northshore Mall. Caffe Nero has one of the worst operations of any coffee chain in the US. The UK operations are considerably better, but already-poor customer service provided by the North Shore cafe is compounded by the devil-may-care attitude of the chain itself, with its Operations Manager (sic) either unable, or unwilling, to address complaints. Try sending them an email, and youll find they will give you short-shrift, and will find yourself sent off with a cursory apology. Truly a dreadful chain (at least in the US). As an aside, try contacting them on Instagram (no, they havent mastered a presence on Twitter), and you will find yourself blocked.

Extremely rude and combative staff!I asked if my cold brew could be remade because there was way too much sweetener and almond milk in it, and the man-child behind the counter said “that’s the way we make it”. Ive never gotten pushback on having a drink remade, but regardless I said that I had been to many other Nero locations and none of them made coffee that way. His response was “they’re all doing it wrong”. I then asked, “so every location besides this one is making their drinks wrong?”. He said “YES”. He then took the cold brew and THREW it in the sink and made another one. That was three months ago.I stopped in for the first time since a few days ago and had a similar experience with the SAME STAFF, so now I can’t do anything but give a negative review. Too bad, because I live within walking distance and I like Nero coffee... I just cant start my day with antagonistic people in it.

Rude staff! I stood in line for over 10 min with line out the door. Noticing a sign for the Caffe Nero app - I logged on and downloaded the app then ordered and paid for a coffee and coffee latte. I stayed in line and continued to wait. The workers did not acknowledge me and started helping someone behind me in line. When I asked why and pointed out that I was there first, she stopped and asked for my order. I told her that I had ordered on line and she went to an IPad confirmed my order then went back and served the people behind me in line. I asked her about my drink and she told me she had to help the other people in line before she filled an online order. I told her that I had been waiting in line and had only done the on line in order to help them out. She still proceeded to fill the order for next two people behind me and refused to refund my money. Rude and inconsiderate!! 15 minutes before I get my drink! And all because I tried to help them by ordering in line:-(!

They don’t even serve eggs, even though it says so on the website. Also, they don’t even put sugar in the coffee for you, which is annoying. They also didn’t answer the phone to take my order even though I called 5 times. Save yourself the trouble and go somewhere else. I don’t even understand how they make money here.

Want to give a shout out to Frankie who serves us good cafe with great attitude. My girlfriends and I, stop by for our afternoon caffeine rush after our 4 mile winter walk. We stop by 4 to 5 times each week. There is one other charming girl, I need to get her name. Great going guys. Salut.

Their prosciutto and mascarpone baguette is my go to. I havent had any other food there even though it all looks delicious. I highly recommend for a quick bite to eat.

Excellent coffee and assorted pastries, however thier prices are not! This location is obviously catering to the very wealthy boxford and topsfield areas. Please adjust your prices according to local income levels, please do!

Im so sad that Im only in town visiting, because this is the cafe of my dreams. The decor is practically out of an interior design magazine, a great selection of pastries of both the rare & staple variety, breakfast sandwiches and cold ready-to-go drinks for those in a rush, stoneware mugs when youre itching to sit down and stay a while for a Wi-Fi session (and not waste paper), COUCHES & ARMCHAIRS EVERYWHERE, very roomy and a few small booths, and above all, great espresso.

I Love the decoration and atmosphere here. Its a nice place to hang out with friends. I don’t drink coffee, but I always order either some hot tea or a cookie or a combination of the two. They were alright and the treats were pricey in my opinion. It can be a little pricey compared to some of the other local cafes but the atmosphere makes it worth it.

Coffee is great, croissant is great, environment is great. My favorite coffee spot at Andover.

This place is great except for one thing: You have a couch near the fire directly under a low hanging metal lamp. What were you thinking here?! I banged my head on this twice, hard. You dont even have to be tall to hit it. Remove the lamp or move the couch.

Great espresso drinks. Delicious sandwiches. Love the Brie and fig on baguette. Only challenge is that its hard to find a seat and the floors are dirty. This Sunday morning , it was clear that a vacuum had not touched the floors in weeks. There was an inch on dust under every couch. Sad to see in such a beautiful place.

Love the decoration and atmosphere here. Nice place to hang out with friends. I don’t drink coffee, but I always ordered some hot tea and other cold drinks along with some treats. They were alright and the treats were pricey in my opinion. My to-go orders got messed up a few times and I ended up getting a wrong drink. So make sure you check your order before you leave.

If you arent a Starbucks person, this should be your number one choice for coffee. This Italian brew house has the best made-to-order coffee drinks and a nice variety of pastries and light lunch menu items. Dont forget to get your free beverage card stamped because the 11th is free!

Disappointing ...Monday, November 13, 2017, I and another man waited in the cold for them to unlock the door at 6:35 am. They open at 6:30 am. The only employee visible was trying his best to ignore us and his body language made it apparent that he could careless about his job, customers or providing good quality service. He finally walked over and shoved opened the door. He was looking me in the eye with a frown his face as if i were bothering him. I said good morning to which I received no response, just his frown. We approached the counter and he asked he man in front of me what he wanted and starting making the order. It appeared that he was working alone and I said Where is all your help, you appear to be here alone today. He looked at me with a frown and a go to hell look, not say a word. Apparently he does not understand there are 3 coffee shops within 1/2 of a block of each other and as a customer I get to pick where I spend my money. I left and went across the street to Ultimate Perk where I was nicely greeted, served and I enjoyed my morning coffee. I just moved to the area and each morning for the past 7 weeks I have gone to Cafe Nero, but that has come to an end. I will never support any business that provides poor customer service.

Great coffee, warm cozy sitting spaces, although I happened to arrive at a time when seating was limited, which resulted in hunting and pecking for a location. That said, after a few minutes seating became available and this made a good central location to meet someone for an off site business discussion.Though I didnt try a dessert, the options looked enticing (a good selection of baked goods). Id definitely go back again.

Pre made breakfast and lunch sandwiches. Loved the motif, but this place was dirty. Filthy, really. Had napkins stuffed under the legs. In the 2 hours I was there, neither the one bathroom, or any other area was cleaned. Ick.

Bob was actually the kindest, most helpful and professional person that I have ever seen working not just at Caffe Nero but at any cafe or restaurant that I have been to. As long as people like Bob still work here I will make sure to come as much as possible. Absolutely amazing person and he truly made my weekend. Definitely deserves a raise!

This is a nice place to stop for a cup of tea and catch up with friends or get a quick meal. The sandwiches are really good and they have a nice assortment of snack foods and pastries.

It is very cozy with lots of seating. The tea is bagged and therefore all right. Everything else is quite good. Service is prompt and kind. There is a parking lot right next to it as well.

A fine European coffeehouse. A place where you can meet friends and have an intelligent and QUIET conversation. Unlike a popular New England coffee chain, they actually get your order right. Thanks Brother Bob!

I went to meet friends at Caffe Nero in an evening. I asked for a peppermint tea - they were out of tea bags. I asked for Camomile they were out of tea bags. I asked if they had any decaffeinated English Breakfast or Earl Grey. Again no they only have regular..... So I did not make a purchase. How can a cafe have none of the above? Very poor and disappointing I dont think it is too much to expect one kind of decaff black tea. A positive was that it was quiet so we had comfortable seats near the fire.

One of the best cafes around. Unique environment, lovely staff and great coffee selection. Just find this place extremely relaxing and comfortable. Wonderful for a quick in and out experience or for enjoying the day by yourself. Recommend to anyone.

Great coffee and treats but a little on the pricey side. The Cold Brew is excellent and the atmosphere of the store itself is very calming and relaxing. There are spots where you can sit by the fireplace and get lost in a book while drinking your favorite coffee drink

I LOVE CAFFE NERO. I frequent this location and every worker is pleasant and good at their job. Every drink is delicious and the food is superb. Especially the oatmeal cookies. What an amazing addition to Andover.

I really love this coffee. I’m pretty new to the New England area and my wife brought me here and I would say it was better than Starbucks. That’s saying a lot. Hope it’s the same for anyone who reads this.

The decor is somewhat between a house living room and a home library. There are not many electric outlets to connect laptops but besides that, it is a great place to meet with friends or do some school work. Not much parking available but it is worth it to look for one.

I spent 7 hours there to do work one day and it was the perfect place to sit, eat, and drink coffee/tea. Their food was really good, along with their baked goods and drinks. Highly recommend going there to get work done or catch up with friends. Parking sucks though so I recommend parking next to the building.

Very cozy cafe with many optins that make it better than your average Starbucks. This location is close to Phillips Academy so most of the time its crowded with High School Students and thus its hard to get seating.

Best coffee shop in the Andovers from a cleanliness and atmosphere perspective. Im not a big coffee drinker so I cant speak to that. The space is amazing...Lots of tables, floor to ceiling bookshelves and a fire place with comfortable chairs around it. Im here on a Tuesday morning so its not very crowded but not empty. Great for doing some work or reading.

This place makes Starbucks an Also Ran. In addition to premium coffee and teas, they have Hot Apple cider and an extensive array of sandwiches. There is even a fireplace (only lit if its cold). They have their own free parking. Caffe Nero is a small, Boston chain, this is their first suburban location.

Cafe Nero is to cafes what beige is to paint. Actually, it’s worse than that. It’s the fake news of coffee shops, a multinational corporate brand fronting as an independent gathering spot, complete with faux Brooklyn-y chalk board menus, bookshelves crammed with titles to create ambiance and a library vibe, leather seats and “reclaimed wood” tables, and a sign about two humble coffee roasters with so much left to learn—at least in this detail (no doubt a fiction) they got it right. With coffee and espresso this bad the roasters do in fact still have much to learn.So I almost hate myself for saying that despite all of that it’s still a comfy spot to spend some some time, and the pastries (especially the raisin danish) are delicious. Ugh.

Good coffee and tea. My favorite is a dirty chai latte, but sometimes have a seasonal flavor which is always tasty. My brother likes their plain black coffee as well, says its got a rich, bold taste without being bitter. Staff always friendly. Atmosphere is cozy with a charming aesthetic of mismatched furniture and neat light fixtures. Lots of books available to peruse. Free, fast WiFi for customers. Can be a bit noisy when crowded. Bathrooms are clean. Handicapped-accessable bathroom on ground floor, a mens room and a womens room downstairs.

We’re very picky with iced tea. We had green iced tea with liquid sugar and a squeeze of lemon, shaken, not stirred. We’re happy to say everything is quality, including quality tea bags. Definitely coming back to try more things!

Cute and very attractive place. Only one item was made out of Multi grain. If it was any smaller, it would be invisible. The sandwiches were wrapped in bread made of white flower. Coffee was tiny. For a small meal for two it was early 19$ and far from fullfilling.I dont think its worth the money. I think its overpriced and it will be my last trip.

Well it gets the two stars for the interior.. it is beautiful. Other than that not impressed with the coffee. Got the cold brew... had a bitter aftertaste and wasnt smooth like cold brew should be. Not that strong either. Prices are expensive. The egg sandwich which was pulled from the case was luke warm. I thought these were made fresh? so not sure how long it had been sitting in the case. They only have 2 sizes of drinks.. small and medium... no larges from what I could see. My husband got the vanilla iced coffee but it was pumped with syrup not brewed so that tasted bad. Stick with Starbucks or Ultimate Perk for your cold brew and save your money.

Instantly became a fan of this place after my first visit. Modern, cozy interior decorating with ample seating and a large selection of edible delights. I enjoy their iced teas (not tazo like everywhere else) and pastries that they get from NH. The staff is also friendly and efficient. Plenty of parking in the area, too.

This is the first U.S. location outside of Boston for London-based Caffè Nero. The interior has a vintage style with imported European furnishings and rustic tables. The espresso drinks have the signature Caffè Nero flavor profile. Beverage prices are a little lower than competitors, but sizes max out at 16 ounces. A range of sandwiches and baked goods is available, as well as decadent (but small) cake slices by Bindi.
