I brought my two old, damaged quilts to be repaired. Unfortunately the amount I was quoted was too much for me ($24,000). I did pay the $600 for them to look at the quilts, come up with an estimate, contact vendors, etc. Since I took the quilts home without them being repaired I asked for part of the $600 back which they could not do. I understand that they need to be reimbursed for their work but $600 seemed a bit steep to me.
