Yet another classic Anderson restaurant! Ive been eating at Besto my whole life. Cheeseburger special with tea only $6.99! I like to add an extra patty and bacon! Ice cream and large sweet tea! Im in heaven! They have much more as well!!! I visit Besto at least twice a month if not more! Great Anderson local place!

Its come a long way since I was a kid going for ice cream, they have really great food and friendly people.

In the south, cole slaw is a condiment and Besto’s gets it. If you want one of the best minced BBQ sandwiches ever, ask them to put slaw on it.This goes for their hamburgers & cheeseburgers too. Anyone can make a lettuce, tomato, & mayo hamburger, but to truly get a southern treat, order a hamburger all the way (chili, mustard, & onions) add cole slaw.Breakfast is great too! Large biscuits any way you want them.Call ahead about 10 minutes ahead and your order will be waiting on you at the window, or come inside and eat. They have a wide variety of fast food items, including corn dogs. Always good, always friendly.

Been eating here a couple of mornings a week for 20 years,but thats changed.worst bisquit ever this morning.i know covid has been hectic on us all,but we need to stop blaming covid,and noone wants to work excuses and call it like it is,the foodbusiness needs to pay better,stop acting as if the people working for them are nothing.NO ONE CAN LIVE OFF 10 OR 11 DOLLARS AN HOUR.THE RICH GET RICHER BY RIDING THE BACKS OF THE POOR.SOMETHING HAS TO CHANGE.MY WORD OF ADVICE TO ALL IN THE FOOD INDUSTRY, IF YOU CANT STAFF YOURSELF CLOSE THE DOORS UNTILL YOU CAN,OR LOOSE YOUR CUSTOMER BASE THAT TOOK YEARS TO BUILD.

Hot dogs were not good. Fries were undercooked. Service was fine.

Had a taste for a banana split. Saw on their website they had one. Oh my gosh! Talk about horrible...it was beyond that. They put it all in a cup with overly sweet so-called toppings. Also not with the traditional ice cream of strawberry, chocolate and vanilla, but total soft serve. Needless to say it was a waste of $5!!

Best old time burger in town. Chili dogs rock. Want a real banana split? This is the place.

We had 3 orders. None were right. 21 dollars and no slaw.. 1 hotdogs ordered m k o and mayo. Only mustard and o io s. Got extra dog, mustard and onions only. 1 plain burger, it was all the way. No seasoning on fries.

Nice quaint(ish) restaurant sitting on a street that is flooded with commerce and chain restaurants. The food is great, and the ice cream is amazing. Nice workers, and is a general go-to spot whenever I am helping with Meals On Wheels (I recommend that too) because I perform my route in the morning, and their sausage biscuits are AMAZING. Great place.

Seems like they don’t like to make your food and drink fresh? But the black ladies and gentlemen make it a pleasant experience! Cause a couple times I asked for them to make my drink after I got there each time they did the opposite! Also once I asked for fresh fries and they looked at me like I wasn’t a paying customer.

Came here for the first time a week ago and everything was great. Eggs, Tea, Butter biscuit, and Bacon for $5, cant beat that. Will return

This hidden gem serves up one of the very best breakfast in Anderson, SC.You absolutely have to try the homemade cinnamon roll before you go. But hurry they only make so many a day. So when they run outThats it.Back again...wow what a breakfast. Best grits in Anderson. Hands down. Pancakes too. Beats the pants off the old waffle places.

It was mediocre. We just had ice cream but it had some frost on it which makes it not so good.

I had the worst visit to there in my life the employees where extremely rude the food was very nasty half cooked and i had a hair in my food tried to call them back and got hung up on 5 times by a very very rude manager i dont know who bought besto but it aint worth your time or money to go there anymore

I have grew up eating for 40 years now and has always been my go to. My wife and I went yesterday and I got my usual 2 hotdog plate and I could not stomach it idk why it was so bad seeing how it’s been perfect every time for 40 years but I guess there is a first time for everything l.

They have the most amazing pancakes in the world, not even kidding. Found out almost on accident, and was very pleasantly surprised! Service is always friendly, with genuine warmth. Highly recommended!

I had not been to Besto in 15+ years & today I had lunch with my daughter in law here. It was delicious! The pimento cheese was melt in your mouth amazing!! ( reminded me of my Moms)The staff are some of the nicest people. Im sure I will be a repeat customer for years to come!!

I had a BBQ sandwich with coleslaw and mustard in it and a shake. The shake I chose was hard to turn into a shake because it was cookie dough so it didnt turn out quite right. Too much milk. Just needed another few tries. But I am sure they would be good otherwise. The BBQ was loaded and well worth the small price and so yummy!

Went in for lunch we had hot dogs with Fries. It was served hot and fresh. I enjoyed my lunch as well as the pleasant atmosphere#

Was given wrong order first go around drive thru got home immediately noticed called said come back got yours here then they charged me again I said wait it should be the difference so he gives me back cash $7 the math isnt adding up at this point so I just said screw it so this is the math part originally charged for wrong order $14 and some change after mishap re charged my totals for $19 so thats $33 and some change after handing me cash $7 thats $26 about 7 bucks of my cash no straws etc.. I gave up long drive thru line waiting.

Short order menu fixed like the olden days. Very thing is very very good and they have homemade ice creams and cakes. Even southern favorite banana pudding.
