This is my go to grocery shopping market. They have a large variety of produce and fresh foods. They also have a good selection of organic products. The employees are friendly and helpful if you have questions. The checkout process is efficient as this location always has several self-checkouts and regular check outs open for convenience. They have clear signage and displays. It would be nice if they would expand as this location is always busy. Overall great experience!

The bakery nailed my kiddo’s custom birthday cake and even finished 3 hours early! Thanks for such great service! Her cake was epic and delicious!!

The Starbucks was amazing! The cashier lady was quite rude but thats life sometimes... and u wish you had grapples all year long! But loves the Halloween decor!

This still is one of my go-to places whenever I am in Anderson and need to get some groceries, or visit the money center. Ive cashed checks here with no problems whatsoever. They always have a wide selection of groceries at a very reasonable prices.

I think its the best Payless in Anderson. I hate it when they put something on sale and they dont have enough in stock. And the prices keep getting higher and higher

Great deli fair prices recommend boars head deli products all gluten free.

Was at payless getting meats.they are very reasonable on there prices. Also visited there gas Station very friendly staff.there is also a variety of other stores there as well and there is also Star BANK

Shopping by internet will quite possibly result in you paying for unwanted items! I finally stopped letting them pull my orders ahead because they screwed me so many times. I now do my own shopping!

Nice hometown store with great people, shop there almost everytime, only sometimes like every big store it can get really busy, which is why Im not the biggest fan of going in.

I dont know what happened when Kroger bought Payless but it isnt good. This used to be a wonderful store. Yet, now the store is dirty, cluttered, and poorly laid out. The entrances are littered, cramped with all sorts of equipment, and dark. The floors are littered and need swept and mopped. The isles are narrow, filled with promotional items, and customers that stand for minutes on end looking for oddly placed items. I am not a regular at this store and only come if I need something quick. And I am not a fan of Walmart. But even Walmart is better than Cross Street Market Place .

We ordered pickup. When we got there they took our card inside to make a payment this is the only store I have seen that doesnt have a mobile credit card machine. Also, we asked for no substitutions and we got them anyway! They didnt even wear a mask.

I go here to get my prescriptions and my favorite part is being able to walk up to the window outside to get them. There isnt a drive through which could be a bit of a bummer for some but the walk up window serves its purpose and allows you to enjoy a beautiful day if you dont want to go inside! This is a remodeled store and I just love the look and feel of the inside. When we do go in to shop we can always find everything we need and then some. Absolutely love the Kroger brand private selection products!

For a company who advertises fresh food and a job with all sorts of healthcare.... the employees look very unhealthy to say the least. Morbidly obese, move slow and sweat on all of your groceries.

The only person that makes this place worth it is that manager in the bakery. Shes always on top of the products and she is the nicest employee that works here. The 5 stars are for her not the rest of the bums.

Good sales in meat department. Nice produce, organic and not organic. Clean store. Quite crowded. Most people wore face coverings. Several people have their nostrils hanging out. Droplets come out noses, folks, not just mouths. I cover up to help keep you safe. Please do the same for me and others. Had to wait at checkout some.

Very nice grocery store with great prices, I really dont know why people drive all the way from the north side to Walmart. I mostly use their pickup service and they always have had excellent customer service with very little wait.

Very clean store, helpful friendly staff, leaps and bounds better than the one at new castle and gave me a plus card without an attitude. When I was shocked and she asked why I told her and she said that was uncalled for and apologized to me for that happening and suggested I call corporate. Its not worth my time or energy especially when I know nothing will be done. Ill simply go to this Kroger from now on😉

My favorite Payless in Anderson. I live 5 minutes from the Applewood Payless but make the 20 mins drive to the cross st.

Used to be my favorite store. I rarely go there anymore. Some of the cashiers have attitudes and I got tired of bagging my own groceries

Ive been shopping here for 20+years. In the past two years there had a heads-up change and I have noticed they dont carry what I want as much. I feel like I have to buy what they have as apposed to what I want. Today they did not have tarragon vinegar, sugar free cream cheese cake icing, not much in cake decorating. Thing is right now there is no other place close.

Extremely busy this eve. People that are very slow at the u scan lanes seem to think its okay to checkout a full shopping cart full of items, stalling the whole process for everyone.

They keep moving the store around! The aisles used to be split which made for easier shopping! They moved the water and drinks to the furthest back corner of the store which is very inconvenient! Customers who buy water have a very heavy load to push around the store because it is so far away. If you are going to have a coupon or sale on an item, you need to make sure the store is stocked full enough for the number of people in the community so you dont keep running out!The employees are nice and helpful but regular prices are too high!

After all the remodeling of the store it has been interesting learning where everything is again but the employees are always very helpful and friendly about helping me finding items when I have trouble doing it on my own. The fresh paint and new look on the walls looks really good and makes the grocery store feel more inviting to shop at!!!! Plus I am always finding great sales on most of the items I buy on a regular basis!
