Was sad to show up & it was closed but not updated on maps, there was a sign on the door, picture included, but we drove 60 miles for comics for our son... i guess i should of called first... lesson learned. From the window tho, things looked pretty cool.

The people in this Local Game Store greeted me in kind as I walked in. They carry mostly Pokemon trading cards, and also offer magic the gathering, comic books and accessories. Prices seemed competitive to online retailers. I hope to see them grow and carry more product in the future.

Staff is amazing and very welcoming. The environment is laid back and cozy. The people who come here are also very welcoming and kind. If you are into anything like anime, D&D, and Magic the Gathering then this is the place for you. Even if you want to try something out for the first time or maybe you are looking for like minded people to just hang out with for a while I would say this is a perfect place to do so.

Very knowledgeable and very friendly. They have and extreme wide variety of Pokemon cards as well as a few others. Some comics in the back. They hold Pokemon league tournaments as well as having their own gym badge to go after. Holds streams for unboxings and creating fun interactive games with the cards to sell! A must stop for any Pokemon fan, trainer, advance and beginner player!

Friendly and experienced staff walked in and was greeted by a warm smile. A friendly face and took care of all my needs. 10 out of 10 cant complain.

Vibes are good here! Goofy bunch of guys who like to hang and talk about lots of different games. Card games, board games, video games, DnD, theyre very knowledgeable. And theyre always pumped to help little kids learn.

Pokemon- This is the place to be, whether its TCG, Go, or anything else related.Dungeons & Dragons - Besides the amazing podcasts, they have a variety of books and plenty of misc. items for order to enhance your D&D game night.One of the best places in Anderson to hang out and relax at, enjoying various shows playing on the four TVs, sitting on the couch drinking coffee, or at a table playing games of every sort.

This place is awesome, I just wish I lived closer. Travis and Garrett are two amazing dudes. The pokemon selection is off the hook. They also do a live stream via twitch every Mon Wed Fri. They do board games and Magic the Gathering also. Location is great has a pizza spot right next door.

I have participated in two of their stream-events, and have had a blast! They ship promptly and when I received my cards they are pristine! Great company, great guys and definitely recommend

Very nice staff, a nice selection of cards, had lots of ones I was looking for, Pokémon and yugioh in particular buy they have other trading card games as well! They gave me very solid deals on the cards I purchased and were very knowledgeable about their products! Absolutely recommend taking your business here! Apparently they’ll be offering games nights, and tournaments soon as well!!

You can get cards, comics and more it is a fun place to relax at. They stream pokemon cards and sometimes they play fortnite live. If you need comics or cards you should go here.

I had the pleasure of bringing my childhood collection of cards in to Travis today. This guy knows his stuff. He is knowledgable, genuinely enjoys what he does, and i have no regrets selling my cards. It sure wasnt the easiest thing in the world to get rid of some of my favorites, ive had some of these literally most of my life now. i came away with cash money and quite a plethora of new information about the entire industry. In the background, there were some cool cats who were laughin and enjoying themselves. I didnt even realize i was there well over an hour by the end of it. And i wad nervoussss walkin in lolGreat people. Great atmosphere.Highly recommended.This is the spot. And they have the goods. Come see :)

Its a small store right now, but I went in for Magic cards and a playmat and left extremely satisfied. I got an Aetherflux Reservoir and really nice playmat. They also have cheap dice if you need to get some individually. It was a quarter or so per die, I got 3 D20s for under a dollar! At Matrix its 1.16 per individual die, even if its a small D6.Ive been to Matrix Cards and Games in Redding, and I would say I recommend Average Ape over them. While the guy behind the counter didnt know how to look up card prices, he was new, he called the owner and got it answered very quickly!I will say it does seem theyre a bit more focused on Pokemon, but if thats what youre after then this is especially the store for you!
