I think Welborn Tire Pros & Automotive has loyal customers because it prides itself on trying to provide excellent service. I feel I can always return for help if I ever have questions or concerns. And I can understand why Welborn consistently is awarded the annual Best Tire Pros certificate in a survey conducted by the Anderson Independent Mail newspaper.

Recommended to my mother as she needed 2 tires, alignment and an oil change. This is the first time she needed anything done to her vehicle since my Dad died earlier this year. She was able to get everything taken care of at one place and they were very nice to her.

I went to wellborn after my husband and I had met at the express oil and tire on main street in Anderson. Im so glad that I decided to come to up to wellborn. I called last minute and they fit me in pretty quickly. I had a slow leak in my tire where a plug and needed it patched. They did an excellent job. I will not be going anywhere else for my tire service. 😊

They did a fantastic job. I work third shift so they even helped get me in during a time that worked for me. Done with service quickly. Very happy.

This is definitely where you want to come. We needed tires on our trailer quick, fast and in a hurry. Like we werent going to make it home....they got us straight in... Only took 20 minutes.... Maybe less. No exaggeration!!!!! The price was the best we found. And even after all that.. .. Customer service was amazing!! We wont go anywhere else anymore for tires! You have our business for life!

The gentleman at the desk were honest and fine with it. The place is overall clean and they have great customer service. I called yesterday and said i will be there at 4pm. I couldnt make it so i came back the next morning and one of the guys said, Hey i remember you. You called yesterday. Just from hearing that these guys earned my trust. Because i called hyundai and they said we booked all the way until next week. Im like how?! Called express oil change, and they wanted 69.99 for full synthetic oil change. Thats outrageous, i can understand if im driving a miscle car but im not. But this place is great and they got my business.

Went in for a alinement. I was told both side of my upper control arm bushings was bad . Eat 445$I decided to take it to Piedmont tire Co because of convenience in relation to my job as they are closer to where I work. Turns out only one side was bad . It was fixed 💯 issue taken care of. At better than half the rip off est given by Welbon tire . Bottom line if Welbon give you a big est for any repairs my best advice is get a second opinion. I definitely recommend Piedmont Tire Co !!

Good folks. Excellent experience with a tire purchase ( 7000 miles since purchase). Best install and balancing job on new tires that I have ever had - they used their Road Force balancer.

Scheduled a tire rotation appointment, waited over 30 minutes before car even went in the garage. When asking at the desk, why we were told appointments are estimated time. We were told, in not so nice of a way, we can give you your keys. Wow, I understand running behind, I work in a doctors office, but I will not be returning with my two other automobiles for tires, nor would I expect a patient to return if I spoke to them in such a manner. I am not one to leave bad reviews, I guess Im just tired of people not really caring about their costumers.

The only place to buy tires around here. The guys are so professional and eager to help. Ive always been treated as if I was the most important customer and the quality of the service is excellent. Prices are fair as well.

I called up Welborn when I needed new tires on my Camry. When they didnt have the exact model that I wanted in stock, they ordered them and had them in their shop within four hours. That was really awesome, because the three other chains I called before them said it would take days to order them in, plus Welborn gave me the most competitive pricing. Everyone I interacted with was exceptionally friendly. They told me exactly what was going to be done to the car and how much it was going to cost, and when the service was complete, thats the amount I paid. Transparent and friendly, exactly what I want from a car service store! You can bet Ill be back again.

Very high priced. Mark up on parts is well over 100% and I find that appalling.

I have used Welborn Tire several times now and I pleased with the service and the price is fair. Just today I had to get a tire patched. The wait was minimal and the technician went the extra mile to reload my spare back under my truck and put the jack and tools back in the proper place. I just thought they went above and beyond in their service. You cannot go wrong using this business!

In April, I brought in my van to have new tires put on the rear end, and to have the bearings on my little cargo trailer greased by Welborn Tire Pros & Automotive.I told them at least four times that the bearings will need to be greased, since it had been a while, and I was about to head out west to Dallas, TX hauling the trailer. They assured me they would take car of it.When I picked up the van and the trailer, I asked again, if they had in fact greased the bearings - I was told and assured that the bearings were fine and did not require greasing at all.We headed out towards Dallas, TX the next day - we got to Shreveport, LA and stopped for lunch, only to find that in fact one of the wheels on the trailer had seized up and was falling off. Luckily we had just pulled off of the interstate - the wheel would have fallen off within the next five miles, most likely.We were very fortunate that nobody got hurt or worse.And, fortunately, there was a trailer parts place less than a mile from where we had stopped - we were able to get a new axle put on for $400, get a hotel for under $100 and then continue on towards Texas, to not miss our show out there (which would have cost us quite a bit in damages as well).Upon calling Mr. Welborn today, I was told that It could have been anything -No, we wont help you out to pay for that. We did not think the bearings needed to be greased - and they are unwilling to share the costs I incurred, nor to even so much as apologize for their negligence in doing what they were contracted to do when they accepted my trailer into the shop to have the bearings greased.My recommendation: if you need something done on your wheels, take your business elsewhere - other places sell tires as well, and might actually do the work you had asked them to do, to avoid problems and disasters on the road.It doesnt matter how long you have been in the business, or who you know in town - if you do not do what you say you will do, and then try to pawn the responsibility for your non-actions off onto the customer, and then refuse to share the cost of the results of your non-action - yeah, you do not deserve another penny. From anybody.Right now, I just feel very lucky to not have had a major accident on the interstate that would have involved all kinds of other people besides myself…UPDATE: Mr Welborn called me and is willing to work on the issue with me - I have upgraded them to 3 stars for now, and will update again, once the issue is resolved.

Great customer service! Excellent mechanics! Know what they are doing. Reasonable prices. Affordable! Fixed our CVC axle on our truck in 2 days considering they had to order parts from Chrysler and it took them a day to come in. Very pleased! Will definately go back if our vehicles need maintenance or repair. 5 stars!

I have been going to Welborns for years and they are probably the most honest family in the auto maintenance business. I have never had them say I needed something I really didnt need. In fact they have called me up in the past when I brought a car in and told me I only needed partial repairs, not the full repairs I had committed to.

Very knowledgeable mechanics; quick, courteous service, but the hourly labor charge is a bit high in my honest opinion, but they be straight with you on what exactly is wrong with your vehicle.

I went in and asked for them to check my tire to see if it had a slow leak because I put air in it and it wasnt staying but I saw nothing in my tire. They took an hour just to check it so I thought. Next thing I know they say my car ready and hit me with a 25$ fee and Im like what!!?? 25$ just to check my tire he say they plugged it and I said no one said they were gonna do work to my car I simply wanted the tire checked he say well here it says it has a slow leak I said they didnt tell Me that moral of it is ask what to do to someones car before just doing it not knowing what their financial situation is. And Ive had my tires plugged for 10$ or less never 25$ thats a used tiretire price its self.

I didnt have a good feeling about this establishment today. I bought a set of tires from here 2 years ago. I was satisfied so I came back to inquire about brakes and oil change. The person at the front desk gave pricing that rival dealership. The online phone number is incorrect with two digits switched from the real number. They seem uninterested. I went to Meineke.

These are great people to do business with. They helped with a warranty claim on a Michelin tire. They were very courteous and had a genuine interest in my satisfaction.

I had a tire leak. I originally took it to a Goodyear to get it fixed. They told me that there was a nail in the tire, but that was it was in the shoulder of the tire and it needed to be replaced, however, I have Toyo tires and is a brand I love and trust and the Goodyear there didnt have. So, I decided to look elsewhere.I find Welborn Tire and Automotive and see they sell Toyos. I go in after work and tell them my tire had a leak. Well, lo and behold, my tire could be repaired and didnt need to be replaced. I was shocked because I thought Id have to fork over some big money for a new tire but had to pay a nominal fee to get it repaired and they repaired it very quickly. The staff were very accommodating, friendly and I appreciate their professional integrity. If I ever have any kind of automotive issues again, Welburn has earned my future patronage. Thank you very much.
