HONEST. Asked to check brake pads more than once and was told i dont need them. Great job servicing my Lexus; 10 years old, no problems. They may cost more, but you get good honest service. Worth it!

Please dont go here!! My car was misdiagnosed. They over priced a starter possible problem on my car for over $200+. I went to the dealership and it was $200+ less than they said if it was the starter, which did not end up being that, just a battery. They thought I was going to agree to pay $800 for a starter and a new battery. I went to the dealership and just needed a battery and he said there is no such thing as diagnostic for a starter. They were trying to get over! I think it was because we had extended warranty, and they wanted to get over with them. The warranty company did not agree to pay that, because I think they knew it was something fishy, but they had to go along with the lie anyway, so they dumped the remainder of what they thought the warranty company was going to pay on us thinking that we were going to go along with it and not notice that this quote was not right. When I went to pick up the car, I told them that I was being overcharged and the lady just said we can run some different numbers to see if we could get it cheaper. I told her no, and that if you could not try to do it right the first time, why would I trust you to it the second time. The owner just looked at us funny when we came to pick the car back up, because he knew he was trying to rip us off. Always get a second opinion, because if they think you are nice or dont know, they will get over. My car was a 2019 year. They know they was getting over. I only had to pay $119 for a 5 year battery at the dealership. They was going to charge $129 plus $50+ just for battery installation alone. The dealership did not charge anything and they did a free first time checkpoint. They charged us about $40 bucks for nothing they did.

I’m an out of town girl with a broken down car. Such an easy mark for an auto shop. Not Foothills. These gentlemen were honest, kind and fast! I expected the repairs to take a few days but was pleasantly surprised when they called me the very afternoon that my car had been taken in. The price was extremely fair and the work was top-notch.

They were asked to replace a rack and pinion which was in warranty from another shop. I also told the husband that I wanted them to check for power steering leaks, etc since there had been problems with this car. I wanted it fixed right once and for all! I explained all of that him in a long conversation. Well, 400 miles later the rack and pinion had a blown seal at the worm gear effectively ruining a brand new rack. You would think good mechanics would check all this knowing there had been problems!I told them I wanted the power steering checked because it was obviously a problem causing the rack to fail. Sure enough, the power steering return hose was crimped causing problems with pressure and blowing out the seal on the rack and causing a leak in a new power steering pump reservoir. I ended up having to replace the rack AGAIN, replace a new power steering pump and a hose. Doing their due diligence to check a complete problem rather than just putting an expensive part on has caused me a lot more money! I would never recommend them again. They just put a band-aid on my car when it needed a proper repair.

This was my first time going to foothills, I wanted my oil changed and to get my car serviced to.see if anything was going on with it they did a good job but it costed way more than I expected but Im happy with the results. I was waiting in.their waiting room for some time I think they need to upgrade that the chairs had dog hair all over it and there was no dog. One had a bad stain on it. I wish Im could have dropped my car and come back for it but I just have the one car. I will be going back to foothills for my next oil change

Dont listen to hot headed one star reviews from one-time customers who ask for the world in exchange for pennies and have unattainable and unreasonable demands. I have a long standing relationship with Foothills Import and the only regrets I have are those related to my brief times of patronage at other shops. I have had four of my own vehicles of both imported and domestic brands regularly serviced and if necessary extensively repaired here over the course of the last few years in addition to referring others, and the work is always solid. Kim, David, and Roger are all pleasant, friendly, and professional. In addition, the mechanics are knowledgeable and almost always get straight to the issues in a timely fashion. In regards to speed, value, and quality of service, 5 stars are certainly merited. Perhaps the one quality that distinguishes Foothills from many, many others, however, is simply their honesty. If they think you dont need something, they wont sell it to you. If they think someone else has a better deal, they wont hesitate to refer you. Kim and her team understand that honesty truly is the best policy, and I will recommend her business to anyone I can as long as they are in business.

The staff here is welcoming yet professional. Im in the process of taking care of some much needed repairs to my car. I looked up some repair shops when searching for a good company that would take care of the repairs, and this company had good reviews on Google; just quoted as being a bit pricey by some of the reviewers. This company has been very helpful in aiding me in taking care of my car repairs, as a person who only has one vehicle that is greatly needed to get back and forth to work and school, I am glad to be able to trust my car to them.

Brought my car there $40 diagnostic check I wind up waiting over an hour to diagnose the car, they put it on the computer and looked under the hood and could not diagnose problem, I explain to them to take the car for spin to figure out whats wrong with it, mechanic finally did that and he finally realized what the problem was ,instead of going through all his unnecessary steps of computers It was just a loose hose that came out ,, also they told me fuel filter is the original one on the car and I explained to them it wasnt , once again guessing on things not diagnosing things right, they explain to me thats the way there diagnose procedures is . I told them thats fine and left it at that, but owner or the lady manager put her two cent in very rude, lost customer....bc of her

I went to Foothills for an alignment on my truck. When I dropped it off I provided specific specs for it to be aligned to. When I came back to pick it up they provided a sheet showing the after specs and the mechanic was able to set it up perfectly. Very impressed with the level of detail taken to meet my request. Much better than another shop up the road which was unable to align it correctly.

I sent my car in for an alignment when I got it back the car pulled harder to the left with new tires. About 2 days later the steering angle sensor light poped on. Then they wanted to charge me again to look into the problem. Took the car to another shop and they where able to reset the light with no issues and have not had any issue for 3 weeks now. When I showed the paper work to another shop the specs they went by where for a base model with a non sport suspension witch changed the numbers

I cannot say enough good things about these people! I live in Atlanta but had to take my mothers 2001 Lexus suv to them for repair. They went over and beyond what they needed to do at no additional charge. They are honest, do excellent work, (I thought very reasonably priced) and people of intrigrity. Yes! I highly recommend them!

And Ive got another towing charge to the dealership. That is one heck of a business model!

Recently took my 2010 Vw Jetta to Foothills. Of course being a German import I was expecting the worse outcome. Expecting to spend thousands of dollars bc the motor was moving way to freely. I took my jetta on Friday afternoon and got a call the following Monday am first thing. The repairs were no more than 120$ my car drives even better than before. Honest great people, that definitely know what they are doing. I now know I have great mechanic shop to take my car to. I would recommend Foothills to anyone with an import. Great service and friendly staff. Thank you again for the great service. :)
