Ive had my truck from them for less than a month and it has shut off on me twice. First time (2 weeks of having it) my alternator went out and it took them a week to fix it and now theyve had it for 3 days and havent even started working on it yet and expect me to still make a regular payment when they sold me a lemon. Be careful buying from them because its all a scam.

Had my car for a month, got it back and with a week... it was smoking, running hott and jerking as I would drive it. PROBLEMS THAT IT DID NOT HAVE WHEN IT WAS TAKEN THERE... now they are saying that they are going to have to order a new part

Just bought a 2018 focus had it less than a week and sat in shop for another week. Mechanic has no idea what hes talking about and they dont even try working on payments with you. My first payment of 250 is due soon and theyre expecting the whole amount even tho my car was in shop longer than I had it.

The process was anything but quick, however they were apologetic for how long it took. They were over all very nice and polite. They got me a pretty good deal on a car especially given my financial situation.

Ensure you as the customer check the vehicle you plan to buy for any recalls because they will not! They swapped me into another car after having issues with the first one that had 4 major safety recalls not to mention other issues as well. Do your due diligence and check everything over with a fine tooth comb!

The service department is awesome. They will go above and beyond to help you. John the manager, is so nice and understanding and keeps you in the loop of things which is beyond important. Thank you guys for helping me, and fixing up my little red!

Ive ALWAYS had a horrible experience with the service center directly. They dont fix what you ask to be fixed, say theres nothing wrong with it, or they fixed it ( when they did NOT). EVERY SINGLE TIME i have to get upper management involved..& still never gets fixed. Warranty is a joke, when they deny any probs or play instead of fixing. Cnac is awesome, but the jokers at the service center definitely have made me decide to never shop Byrider again ( after 2 vehicles & several references for others who have purchased as well).

Have been with Byrider for some time now and have always been able to count on them when my vehicle needs serviced. John and his team are friendly, fair, and honest. Always surprised by their quick work when repairs are needed. Brought my car in to have wheel bearing replaced and it was ready to go by lunch time, making it safe for me to get back on the road.

Went there to get my oil change. Respectful and reasonable price!😊

Had a car previously from them... Was in a wreck and as soon as insurance paid on the car I was able to come and choose another car to my liking pretty quickly. The sales men and finance people are awesome and friendly. Prices are a little more than Id like but then again it is a good place for people to little to no credit.

I had my 2010 Edge for just over a year the motor locked up on me left me and my family stranded. Told them where it was so they could pick it up and well they have no idea where my car is! But they want that money!!!!

Only good part about this JD Byrider is the service department manager. I was convinced to buy a extended warranty that I was told would cover everything including electric yet every time I take it in for something I’m told the warranty does not cover it. Account manager dodges all of my questions and is very unhelpful and honestly quite rude.. Service department manager (John) has helped me as much as he can. Very nice and respectful and has made coming in for service a lot better.

We purchased or car on 8/8/20 we were so excited for this purchase its a beautiful car that looked like it was in good condition. Less than a month later we took it to Kentucky over labor day weekend and started having transmission problems got it back to the service center on 9/8/20 and was to they had to replace the transmission. They had it for almost 2 weeks we got it back with no cost to us (besides the inconvenience of not having the car). Everything seemed fine until 1/30/21 when we started having transmission trouble AGAIN!!! had to have to towed from Marion to Anderson that cost me $125 theyve had it for 2 weeks I just called today 2/13/21 to find out what they found on my car and it needs another transmission. 😤 I was told it will be 2 more weeks before I get my car back so Ill have made 1 months worth of payments with no car . Definitely feel like we were ripped off. So if youre considering buying from them just beware every story isnt a happy ending. Ive made several complaints to the sales department that have fallen on deaf ears. was basically told it would have to go to the shop 3 or 4 times before they would help me.

Great experience, they did what they had to to get me the car I wanted no matter what. Even though its over priced but knew that going in to buy her pay here and not having best credit. The warranty option is amazing just picked my car up from shop and was quick and explained everything that was going on with my car and even better now. If had to redo the experience I would again.

This is the worst car company I have ever dealt with. I got laid off of job due to COVID. Before that I got paid on Fridays and now I don’t get unemployment until Monday’s so instead of working with me and changing my payment day I get charges every time for check not going through. I highly recommend getting a vehicle through Car Max or anywhere else but here!!!!!

I had A LOT OF TROUBLE keeping up with & making the payment. As well as having trouble with the vehicle that seemed to have trouble immediately after receiving it. Took it in for maintenance on the coil packs where I was informed that no loaner vehicle would be given. So pretty much, if I needed to get my truck fixed, Id have to go without a vehicle until it was repaired (which I was also told, would vary according to what the repair would require) & I couldnt go without a car with 2 kids.

Excellent job on fixing the rattling and shaking on my car. Its running better than when I bought it a month ago. Its so quiet I forgot it was still running. John was courteous and explained everything that was repaired. Id recommend them, and will visit again if there are any other problems.

Stan and Kody are awesome, great experience! I know a lot of people say J.D. Byrider is a waste of money and for people with bad credit, this is not the case. we’ve bought 4 cars from them, and all have been within 5 years old. They all have had low miles and a great warranty! You can’t by a used car from a Ford or Chevy dealership with a 2 year power train warranty. The people in sales are wonderful, but of course they kind of have to be. Thats how the company makes money! Im a younger guy who works hard to be and remain totally independent. JD Byrider challenges that independence by selling extremely unreliable cars. I signed a 4-year agreement and right now Im just under reaching the 2 year mark of this God-forsaken contract to be over. So far, the radiator has been replaced along with the radio and some other minor but necessary replacements (in regards to safety). Now today, Im almost 3 hours away in my hometown visiting my family (I have an ailing grandfather) to help out and my transmission has failed and its costing $1500 to replace. Of course, none of the issues with my truck were covered under the Service Agreement. I actually start my 2nd job tomorrow and I have to find away to not only get home, but to get to both jobs AND get back to my hometown once my truck has been fixed. I would also like to note that I find it odd that when setting an appointment with the JD Byrider Service Center for an oil change that the closest available appointment is always at least a week away (sometimes 2 weeks) and the Service Center lot is ALWAYS packed full. I honestly feel like JD Byrider sells the cars patched up enough for issues to go unnoticed for awhile and once the customer has the car and it breaks down, they either cant afford the repair and stop paying for a car they cant drive or they pay for the repair and need an extension on the payment.....and JD Byrider starts bugging you and your references less than 24 hours after your payment is due. My payment was due on a Friday and I needed to make the payment Monday when I picked up my check from work because I was out of town. JD Byrider just repossesses the car (which the customer is still responsible for paying off) and just patches the car up and sells it again. If it wasnt for God and a blessed family that supports me because they notice what Im striving for and how hard I work, I dont know what I would do. Please, avoid this place by all means necessary. Youd be just as good, if not better, to buy at a smaller buy here, pay here or even get a car from Craigslist.
