After reading some pretty terrible reviews , i was sort of nervous about Safelite replacing my windshield. 2 days after replacing , i had a stress fracture , about 6 inches long, show up on the drivers side. I called Safelite and they were wonderful. Told me I was under warranty . Sent a tech out 7 days later to replace it again . Was told it was a defect in the glass, so i would pay $0 . Had me up and running in under an hour. I would highly recommend !!!

Had the drivers side window replaced and never had any problems with it.. until the car was stolen and the police broke the drivers window out to arrest the driver..

I needed my windsheild replaced after a rock hit it while driving down the road. I claimed it through my insurance and they came out to my job to fix what I though would only be a repair. My technician Mike explained to me that I would need my entire windshield replaced. He called and made an appointment for me for the following day. They came out and grabbed my keys from me and my windshield was replaced within the hour. Very professional and polite.

Had windshield replaced. Included recalibration of the safety system. Tech didnt know how but tried anyway and scrambled the soft ware of the car. The savlite office personnel at the Anderson, SC store refused to pay the bill to have the car reprogrammed. They just left me with a disabled car. Shame on them for their lack of interest in doing business honorably. So much for their warranty on recalibration. Their attitude is is when their tech screws up its my fault. Id recommend not using the Anderson,SC office

I had the rear window replaced a couple of weeks ago. After a hard rain I noticed there was a leak into the cab of my truck. Safelite came out and said it was the cargo light leaking. I ordered a seal and replaced it and there is still a leak. I noticed that the window had a one half inch gap at the corner. I can actually push the window in towards the mating surface. I called safelite and was talking to a rep when a recording came on and instructed me to make an appointment via website and email. I have sent two emails in a 1 week time frame with no response from Safelite. Terrible customer service. and I would never recommend Safelite to any one.

Removed the windshield on my classic vehicle. Chipped the paint on the top.had to get my car towed home without a windshield. Said they wouldnt pay for towing. Dont take your classic vehicle to them.

I found Safelite to be super convenient. I went online, prepared my quote, set up an appointment and made my payment. When I arrived at the shop the staff was super friendly they got my truck right in on appointment time and had it done in 45 minutes and it looks great. I highly recommend Safelite because of the convenience and the friendly staff. They were very hospitable from the moment I walked through the door.

Got my windshield replaced in a timely manner. Free coffee and hot chocolate.

They did a good looking job replacing the back glass on my 99 Camry with defrost and antenna but my radio has poor signal since the replacement. It had great signal before. I havent needed the defrost yet to see how it works. Ive tried calling them but havent been able to speak with anyone yet. Just going to a voice prompt message each time.

They were very nice and polite they took my car back to check to make sure if my window was still good but they were barely gone 10 minutes so I dont really know if they did the test they were supposed to do I would have liked to have seen them do the test of the air and water

I filed a claim through my insurance to have the windshield replaced on my work truck. The insurance company said the preferred glass repair shop was Safelite so I obliged and told them i would go with that. I provided all the pertinent information that the insurance company requested and was told i would receive a call from the local shop the next day to go over details of the glass since it was special order.I called the next morning (because i had not heard from them yet) around 10:00 and was connected to the local shop via the call service because undoubtedly the shop does not take calls directly into the local office but they have to go through another line of communication. Ok, I got a gentlemen (which i am not mentioning by name) on the phone and he said that he could put a temporary covering over my windshield until the glass came in. He said that I needed to be there before 3:00 and he could put this cover on for me. Well, my wife followed me over on the hour long round trip to the Safelite location. We arrived at 2:00 and there was no one to be found. We waited 20 minutes and tried to call the number on the door but it went to a call center that said customer service was closed for the day. The hours on the door said they were open until 5:00 on Saturday but it really didn’t matter since I was already there an hour before the guy told me he would be leaving.I wrote a very nice note on the door letting the person know that I came by and he wasn’t there. I left my reference number that was provided to me from the insurance company that had the claim listed as being performed by that Safelite location. I wanted to make sure there was no mistaking that this was indeed the shop that I was referred to and also referenced the name of the gentleman I had spoken with earlier on the phone. I had asked if they could please call me on Monday to let me know what the status of the glass would be. It is 2:00 p.m. on Monday and I have heard nothing from Safelite. I contacted another shop that was also a preferred vendor for the insurance company and they not only answered the phone but told me they could get the glass in this afternoon and have it put in immediately. They are installing the glass as i write this.I truly hope that this mishap with the Anderson Safelite location is an isolated event and there is a good reason for why they dropped the ball. Until I receive that “valid” reason this review will go down as a 100% FAILING GRADE!!!

The Safelite team in Anderson SC took me early for an 8 am appt at their shop on Wed Oct 14th, so I could get to work, unfortunately the glass they were installing cracked on the driver side, they were quick to respond to fix the issue, as another windshield had to be ordered and within 24 hrs a new windshield was installed at my wifes school the next morning. Thanks for the professionalism and efficiency. Chris

Safelite has horrible customer service. It was impossible to set an appointment up for what I needed, and they wont take phone calls either. I went to a smaller shop instead and saved money compared to Safelite.

WASTE OF YOUR TIME. I initially went in and was told they would have to order my glass. They told me when the glass would be here and the earliest they could get me in. Two days before the appointment they set I called the verify that they had in fact received the glass so that I could make arrangements to get my car there. They said they had. I show up for my appointment at the scheduled time and was told, “Oh, I forgot to call you. We don’t have your glass.” Completely wasted my time and gas to drive all the way across town. Will not be returning to this location. Clerk was very unprofessional and lacked any customer service skills whatsoever. BEWARE!

Technician took forever and they had to come back because he never hooked up my windshield fluid or my mirror! Called about it and they hooked up my fluid but they still didnt hook up my rear view mirror is not working! And the multiple schedules and transactions worth from yall not me! I just wanted a simple windshield and it took two times and its still not right! I will be calling back but I dont know if I can trust yall to fix what yall broke?!

My window was broken on a Sunday. They came out the next day, but had the wrong window. They had to order the new window and couldnt come back until Thursday. Then on Thursday, they tell me the window cant be replaced. 4 business days down the drain. I wish I called someone else.

I went there on 8/10/2017 to replace my 2017 Nissan Altimas front door glass. They promised they will clean all the shredded glass pieces out before they install the new glass, but they did NOT. First time after I got the vehicle back I saw some glass pieces on the floor and under the driver;s seat, I asked to clean it and they did. I left the shop stooped at the Nissan dealer and then found out there are still some glasses pieces inside the door panel. I can hear the sound when I open and close the door. It is like you put a bunch of coins in your pocket and there is this noisy sound when you run with it. It is very obvious. When I get back to them the second time and asked them why didnt they cleaned the glass pieces out when they tore up the whole door penal. their answer was This is the best we could do and no one could have done better Seriously? I could not believe my ears. This was coming from the mouth of the Anderson store manager Steve Osborn. They asked to take my car to a body shop and pay them for cleaning the glass. No, No. No. This is very wrong. I knew they had bad review, but I did not know their service is this terrible. Afterwards, I called Safelite Autoglass corporate customer service and complained about the service. But, still have not hear anything from them yet. I guess it will never happen. BE AWARE. STAY AWAY FROM THEM IF POSSIBLE.
