This company is spectacular!! I’ve been shopping here for years and each time I have an amazing experience. The girls who work at the store are always so welcoming and helpful. Not sure who’s training these ladies their great customer service skills, but keep it up!

I LOVE AK STARFISH!! The hoodies are super comfortable and are great quality. They carry some super cute, locally made products that are great for gifts. I also love that they support local artists! Whether you’re just visiting or are Alaskan grown, this is the place to go.

Lots of cute stuff! The employees working were very knowledgeable about the artists whos work was available in the shop. It was a very enjoyable shopping experience and I was able to find some great gifts for friends!

Always friendly helpful staff, quality products and the owner is such a caring considerate being. My family shops here for our most comfortable tee shirts and reusable custom Alaskana ingrained hydroflask water bottles. They are a a great solution to buying plastic water bottles and creating more waste on this planet.

We spent over $600 on gifts in this store. I purchased 3 chapsticks from the bowls they have at the front by the register. I never thought to open them to make sure they were new. When I got home, one of them looked good and the other two looked messed up with the chapstick melted and one had a hole in the middle. I tried to exchange them and they said “Well they’re hand crafted so they may look like that. We can’t just take them back because we’d have to throw them away. If the person you’re giving it to is concerned, just tell them they’re new and haven’t been touched because they’re right here at the front. We can’t open them all and look because of covid.”After spending that much money in their store, the right thing to do would have been to let me exchange the two messed up chapsticks or comp a couple of them if they don’t want to take the messed up ones back!Also beware... they try to sell some things that they claim are made in Alaska but are actually made in California. I brought that to one of the girl’s attention and she seemed clueless to that fact.

Anchorage store is so so beautiful! The service is amazing, and the hoodies are so cozy!! I love it. Highly recommend stopping in.

The zip up hoodies are incredibly soft, fit well with a longer length, and are not boxy. Downside is my hoodie had pilling all over it after the first time I washed it. I did not put in the dryer either. So disappointing and it looks so bad I only wear it around the house.

Amazing service and quality of clothing! Marci, the artist is a local Alaskan who does all of the clothing designs and carries many local artists art, jewelry, skincare, and knits in her store as well as her own hats, shirts, and hoodies. Her locations in Homer and Seward are breathtaking, Homer being my favorite with the ocean views. I love that her Anchorage store is open year round, so you can always get your birthday, valentines, bridesmaid or anniversary gifts at Ak Starfish in Anchorage. I love shopping here and knowing i’m supporting local Alaskans.

Great products, really cute clothing! Boutique prices, store could use a little more organization, but it did appear they were doing some reorganizing when I stopped there.

Color came out the next day. I have a stain on my skin that didnt come off, stain on my bra, on my backpack and on my pants. They should match their price with their quality.

Overpriced to begin with. 2nd off they showed my 6yo kid all these cool books etc and than one flip book broke and I was told that now i have to pay for it. No sign anywhere. Wish they would off told me that when he had an expensive necklace in his hands 5min before that. The girls who work there are useless. Talked to Ashley a manager on the phone who was nice and said they ll get a sign up and than owner marcy called who was rude and not friendly at all n got even more rude and said no sign will go up coz it will bring up negativity but hey the sign for no exchange etc is up. Makes no sense. Bad bad customer service. End of story is that all the things I planned to buy [over 100bucks] stayed in store & I left with a broken baby flip book for half off. Awesome!

Super cute things

I was shopping at the store is Seward. The owner Marci was ringing up my order. She short changed me. When I brought it to her attention she got angry and was very rude to me. Not COOL!
