J & S are absolutely the best people to call if you have water damage! Members of my family have had to use them three times in the past month, and every single time they have been responsive, professional, helpful, and patient. I can’t say enough good things about Dustin and the customer service he provides. He answered all of my questions, no matter how stupid, and was very kind and understanding. He made everything really easy, and saved me a lot of time and money. They are dealing directly with my insurance so that I don’t have to, which makes everything so much easier and less stressful. I will use them every single time I need help, and highly highly recommend them!!

I had my old carpet which was like 7 years old and it got worn out plus smell funky. I thought I lost it but my friend suggested me this company and asked me give it a shot. I have been using this company for 35 years. whether for our business or personal cleaning needs, J and S has always come through, usually going above and beyond what I expected. Technicians are on time, polite and well trained. I have also dropped off area rugs for special cleaning (I have pets) and they came out looking like new. They will tell you if they cant get it clean, and why. If you want a professional cleaning and great customer service, then call J and S. As a bonus, they often send coupons for Spring cleaning or such during slower months.

Excellent service and results!!! We own and bed and breakfast and have really high traffic and off white carpet- Dean came in and did a stellar job making the carpet look new again as well as provide excellent education on what we can do with some of the areas that get the highest traffic to keep it clean longer. J&S Steamway has done a great job cleaning my carpets for many years...wall to wall carpeting and area rugs. But now Im a customer for life!A couple of months ago I bought a beautiful (expensive) beige linen armchair. Last week I was horrified to see a greasy spot smack in the middle of the seat. I was afraid to clean it myself so I took it into J&S to make arrangements for them to clean the chair. The office staff wasnt quite sure how to handle it so they had Troy (owner) come out to talk to me. He looked at the spot and ducked into the backroom to do his magic. When he came back out he said the cushion need to stay in the hospital overnight. But a couple of minutes later another employee came out of the back room with a big smile on his face. He had been able to remove the spot out and even better, seemed genuinely happy that he was able to. I love it when people do a wonderful job and are so clearly proud of what they do!

Wow! J & S Steamway did an incredible job on my family heirloom rug. This rug has been in my family for more than 75 years. Not only did the professionals at J & S Steamway research my rug and tell me where it came from, they did an amazing job cleaning it! I have never seen the colors of the rug so vibrant.I will absolutely be using J & S Steamway in the future.

Took in an older Persian rug to be cleaned. Came out looking great. They also were able to restore part of the fringe. My wife was very happy with the results.

This is one of the worst businesses Ive ever seen. Receptionist didnt know the answer to a question so she lied to me and made me bring in carpet fibers that werent useful after I had asked to make sure this is what was needed to fix my carpet. The owner was short and extremely rude once I got there. Customer service is horrendous and overral social competency to interact kindly with other humans is astounding. I recommend using anyone else but these people.

This is my experience with J & S Steamway. Yesterday 6/17/15 I decided to call around to find a business to clean my small ottoman. I decided to call J & S Steamway because they have been a local business for a very long time and I like to support local small business.I talked to a man for awhile about my needs, including the fact that the ottoman had dog urine on it and that was my biggest concern. We talked about the chemical treatment needed and whether the urine was on just the sides or on the top as well. That was the depth of detail we went into, there was no misunderstanding.He quoted me $50 for the job, which I thought was a bit high but agreed and arranged to bring the ottoman by today, which I did.The woman in the office was quite nice and we chatted while she was writing up my ticket. She told me the job would be $75 and I told her that I was distinctly told that the job was quoted to me at $50 and she said alright and finished the paperwork.During that time a small oddly balding man came out and stood nearby getting a cup of water. He was listening to the entire conversation. I thought perhaps he was a customer, but none of the office personnel addressed him, so I concluded that he worked there. I tried to make eye contact and to offer a smile but he was having none of it, spent the entire rest of the time I was there nursing his cup of water and it was obvious that he was listening to our conversation.About 2 hours after I left I got a call from J & S Steamway from a gentleman that told me that he was the owner and that the price had jumped up again to $85.00. It wasnt due to the condition, he said that $85 was the charge and if I didnt like it, I could pick up my ottoman. Very curt, very rude. He repeated several times that if I didnt like it, I could come and get my ottoman.So first, J&S quoted me $50, then $75 and then $85.00. In the advertising business, this is called BAIT AND SWITCH which is against the law.IF that water cooler man was the owner, and I can identify him, he heard the whole conversation and could have jumped in there then.I cant say for sure, but I am willing to bet that J&S is no longer owned by the original owners and this company does business in a very immoral way. 3 different prices in 2 days. MY SUGGESTION IS THAT YOU MOVE ON AND FIND ANOTHER MORE HONORABLE, TRUSTWORTHY CLEANING SERVICE. If you decide to take your chances and go with J%S, GET THE QUOTE IN WRITING SIGNED AND DATED. MY EXPERIENCE WITH THIS COMPANY IS THAT THEY QUOTE ONE PRICE AND THEN RAISE IT. I suggest you stay clear of them.

If I could rate no stars I would. Unprofessional rude as hell. Very self in intiled company. They will treat you like the dirt they cant even get out of carpets. Over priced for such a unimpressive clean job. My one year old can clean carpets better with his toy vacuume. Use at your own risk. Also dont expect the carpets to look any better.

There was some miscommunication on the phone and when I called back to clear it up, the guy on the phone was incredibly rude. I was just trying to clear a misunderstanding up and I was nice. But he kept implying that I was lying. He was saying stuff like I didnt say 2 pm so I dont know why your saying I did and Im the only one here and I know what I said so you thought wrong. Apparently Im not the only one he was rude too based on other reviews. I promise i was polite the whole time. I work in customer service so Im not gonna be rude to someone doing their job so it was totally uncalled for. I would have canceled if I was desperate to get my carpet clean. All I could do was be surprised he was talking to be this way. Never seen someone start a conversation off in such a defensive and rude way.However, when the cleaner showed up, he was very polite and did a good job. And it was cheaper than the jerk on the phone said it was. He even aplogized for being later than 2 pm (even though the guy on the phone insisted he scheduled another time.) Even the cleaner thought he said 2. This guy on the phone (might be the owner based on other reviews) needs to learn when either a) when to admit hes wrong or b) needs to learn not to argue and say sorry we misunderstood eachother
