Staff is friendly and the Mechanic I spoke with was helpful with shopping for tires. When the tire size I needed (205/R16) was sold out, the Mechanic walked me through alternative sizes. We settled with 215/R16 and he explained the small differences to consider when driving. Pricing is competitive, but not the cheapest in town.

My experience at P&D services was phenomenal. The owner Casey and the office manager Cora were very polite, professional. Casey is awesome he gave me a great deal on a set of tires for my RV. I’ll be a returning customer in the near future!

Not happy. Took my car here to get a few things fixed, and got it back worse than how I took it in. The steering wheel of my car was near immovable, to the point where the car could hardly be driven. This issue was not mentioned when the car was returned to us, even though they said it had been test driven. Returned the car to the shop to fix the issue and the guys there were very apologetic and nice. However, it has been almost two months and my vehicle is still not fixed. Kept in sporadic contact with the shop for updates, and theyre allegedly still waiting on a part/tool to be shipped in that is necessary for fixing the car. Apparently the part/tool was shipped to them last month, but it was built incorrectly by the manufacturer, so they had to reorder it. It is an older model so we understood that it may take a while for the part to come in, but this is ridiculous.On a more positive note, Ive taken my car here for only small jobs in the past (tire and oil changes) and had no issues. The work was done quickly and for a good price, and the guys here are always nice. It saddens me that this issue has arisen, and will be hesitant to return here after the car is returned to me.

Went in after I couldn’t even get in the door for a tire changeover (that time of year, my own fault) at Costco and others around town; P & D was able to take my car immediately.Not only were they quick and reasonably priced, they were able to give me an oil change and fix my tire sensor on top! All in less time than it took just for me to get someone to answer my phone call at one of the other places (spoiler alert, they were all booked up).Best of all, I went in mistakenly thinking I needed new tires and they convinced me I DIDN’T. Very appreciative of their honesty and that they didn’t take the opportunity to upsell me. Overall very friendly and helpful staff. Had never been to P & D before but will definitely be bringing my business there from now on.

My car was stolen a while back and they did a real number on the front and rear end. I took it in to P&D to see about getting new tires because I thought that was the biggest priority. I also wanted to get an estimate on repairing the vehicle. Casey and Carl got me new tires at a great price but more importantly made sure I knew how unsafe it was to be driving my vehicle because of the extent of the damage. They made the time to get my car in the shop and kept me informed every step of the way. They even popped out an old dent I had in my rear bumper! I got my car back yesterday and it is like driving a brand new car. (2004 Toyota Highlander AWD). I was so relieved driving into work today. I didnt feel like I was going to spin out of control on the ice anymore and it no longer feels like my wheel is going to fall off! Thank you Casey and Carl for all your work on getting my family back on the road in a safe rig. Will definitely take my car back to them for routine service and major repairs!

P&D is great! I just moved back to Alaska, with my MINI Cooper. I was worried about how the car would handle with snow and ice. I looked up my old friend Casey and he got me in right away, made a recommendation for winter tires, purchased them, and even stored them for me until I was ready for the winter change over. It was not even a problem getting in and getting my winter wheels put on when the weather started turning - they extended their hours to handle the rush on turnovers. I have been going here for the last year and a half to have work done on all of my vehicles. Very knowledgeable mechanic. Owner helped me out with every step along the way from calls an updates to making sure I was okay with cost. Got my tires mounted and balanced here, they put huge outside weights instead of stick on ones because they couldn’t get the stick on ones to stay on. Wheels now have chips and scratches in the powdercoat from hammering an outside wheel weight onto the wheel.

I brought my car in to have it looked at before a long road trip. They called and got my permission to replace the tires and water pump. However, when I showed up to get my car they said that they went ahead and replaced a tire sensor (even though he said, I couldnt see anything wrong with it but I replaced it anyway) and charged me and additional $75!!!I also asked for an oil change which was a huge mistake. I was charged $135 for a stupid oil change!!!! I feel very taken advantage of as a woman and DO NOT recommend going here.

Good and knowledgeable crew

Carl knows his stuff. Hard to get parts, or really complicated fine tuning issues, these guys will figure it out. My son and I were able to get our project mower running with a couple used parts and a new carburetor. Friendly and down to earth. DONT BUY A NEW ONE. Talk to Carl first!

These folks are honest, Hard working, they have exceptional work ethic and their work goes above and beyond your expectations, I love that they’re local alaskans, keep it small and keep it local 👍🏻👍🏻

I had a flat tire P&D not only changed my tires for a very fair price and quick service but got to the bottom of how I got the flat tire and there knowledgeable staff got right to work and took care of my problems and now myfamily is safer on the roads shout out to Andy for coming in on his day off to finish the job Im a life long Alaskan and was treated like family in time of need very thankful to P&D and all the stall sincerely Freddy Traffin

I called in today to fix my Snow blower. The guy who answers the phone told me that they are book put for a long time because of tire season and snow blower repair.Instead of telling me good luck and hanging up on me, he helps me isolate the problem, and I fixed it my self.This speaks to the quality of this business and its employees. Terrible business. Run away. Wow. Where to start? In September of 2017 I dropped off my snow blower for a tune up and repair of the discharge tunnel and my two year old lawn tractor for a tune up. I was told that they were very busy and short of space but if I agreed to pick both of them up the same day that they were finished they would do the work. I was told they would be done Tuesday. Looking back I guess I should have asked Tuesday of what month and year. September turned to November then January then March. I called countless times over six months and was told each time a different lame excuse. Everything from trouble finding parts to Marty is going to take them to his house to complete the work due to lack of space in their shop which turned into them being held captive at Martys house for more than a month. More excuses... Next week... next week... next week. Then Im told they are done I can pick them up this Wednesday. April 4th, 2018. Five days in a row following April 4th I was given a different excuse why I could not pick up my equipment which ranged from Marty was unable to return them to the shop, to cars in the shop blocking access to my equipment. After calling Monday, April 9th to confirm that my equipment was available for pick up I was informed that both units were available but no money was owed as NONE OF THE WORK WAS EVER COMPLETED!!! I was lied to over and over and over again. I went through an entire winter without my snow blower and had I not forced the issue probably would have missed a summer of lawn mowing. The lawn tractor was returned to me with a replacement key from Lowes and not the original Craftsman key that was in it when I dropped it off as well as a trashed battery from being stored outside in freezing temperatures all winter. From my experience this is most poorly managed business I have ever had the displeasure of dealing with. I didnt want to give them one star but minus 4 wasnt an option.
