Got a sidewall bubble in one of my tires; they’re the only people who carry them. They had me in and out 30 mins, including them having to get my tire from their warehouse. Great service

Its a bit spendy, but for your vehicle you dont want to go cheap. The tires Ive gotten from them were high quality, and every time I got a flat(from a nail, not the tire quality) they were quick and fixed em up good. This is hands down my preferred tire shop.

Ive been their customer for over 5 years, but I wont go back. Their pricing just keeps going up and they dont bother to tell you that until after they perform the service. This year I brought in my own tires to swap out on my trailer and they added a 40% surcharge for installing tires not sold by them. Outrageous. This surcharge was not explained in advance nor at the time of sale. I had to ask why it wasnt the normal rate.

Was pretty fast for a walk-in. Decent prices to swap 2 tires on rims (not mounted) came to about $37

Rich and the entire staff were outstanding. Got me in and out and did a first rate job.

I brought my vehicle to get an alignment. They told me a ball joint was still damaged and needed to be replaced and to bring it back when I replaced it. I just brought it back today at 8:00, took time off of work and stood in a long line with a stupid covid mask, which they require now. They told me oh Im sorry we only do tires right now.. are you a business that offers repair, alignments, tires? What do you do? Do you just change it day by day or what? Thanks for nothing, wasting my time and wasting my work hours!

Great customer service. Prices are very competitive. Also have large selection of large truck tires in stock. I take both my Jeep and Ram there for all my tire work.Took my new tractor to have winter tires this fall as well. They ordered my tires and put them on my tractor.I recommend these guys all the time to my friends.

Thank goodness! I’ve always been kinda skeptical about tire places. The usual “They are going to do something shady” thought in my head really sets the mood (not). When we got there, the older gentleman approached us with a kind manner. He obviously knew that we weren’t experts on getting tires, but he didn’t take advance of that. He instead explained what they had to offer, what he recommended and then give us the choice. We then told him what we wanted, gave him the keys, then left. Not even an hour after, WE GET A CALL that they are DONE! Man that was fast. We got back and paid, then was on the road with our new wheels! This place is awesome and the vibes were great! Now, I do recommend that you get there before they open because they don’t have unlimited tires and there will be a line if you don’t. That’s what we did, and were the second ones there with no issues! Thanks Alyeska Tires!

Rich is helpful and exudes honesty.I cant speak for the rest of the staff.Rich is the manager of this operation and is a pretty knowledgable guy who has been in the tire industry for ages.He has spent over and hour out of the work day to educate me on tires and processes as a potential customer. They put systems in place to assure you get quality tires, that are within manufacture specification AND they warranty their tires for a guaranteed mileage life.Its always good to find a service provider who stands behind their product.Ive been into alyeska for several tire repairs over the years and they are always prompt to fit me in on notice.When I want to best tires for my ride, I buy them here.(Put a cover on your seat, mechanics are dirty)

After seeing such high reviews on this place, thought I had found a good tire place (Im new in town). I was really disappointed when I was getting into my car after a balance and rotation they did, to see this on my seat. I certainly didnt show up with a seat like this. I understand my car may be older, but just because my car may be a little older, is no excuse to treat it any different than others.I went back in to show what the mechanics had done to my seat. I was offered a can of brake parts cleaner and a rag... Really? If you havent used brake parts cleaner before, its very harsh chemicals used for... cleaning brakes.Anyway, it must have been the face I made, then the guy working the counter offered I go down the street to have the seat cleaned at no charge (shouldve offered this in the first place). The grease/stain came out fortunately, but just more of a hassle than I shouldve had to deal with IMO on a day trying to get errands done.

I brought my truck here with a vibration at 50mph. I had already brought it to two shops who were unable to figure out/fix the problem. I walked into a warm welcome from Rich who made me feel confident that they would be able to figure it out and they did! I was very happy with the service and positive attitude here!They also had a great setup for Covid-19 social distancing. Every employee was wearing a mask and I felt comfortable waiting in the waiting room while my truck was fixed!

Really glad I ended up being my vehicle here for an alignment. Vehicle was brought into the shop promptly after I arrived and technician did a great job. Service advisor was friendly and helpful. He explained the before & after measurements well and gave me confidence in their work. Theyre familiar with Tesla and have the pucks on hand for lifting safely. When I have other tire & wheel work to be done, this will be where I go.

I have to take back my 5 star review, I wrote it prematurely. The screw was in my rear left tire but they fixed my rear right that had nothing wrong with it. I questioned them and they realized the error but was going to still charge me for a no repair. They did hustle and get my tire fixed and then Kal didnt charge me at all but you decide if you want to go there. Original post Ihad a screw in my tire and it was leaking slowly but surely. I checked around other places to repair it but couldnt get it done on my schedule I was leary about coming to alyeska tire because they seem so busy but I stopped and they were able to get me in and out in about 40 minutes which was faster than their 1-1.5 hour guess. Thanks Kal he took great care of me. Free popcorn too.

The only tire/lube shop to use in anchorage.shops like this are pretty much non existent these days, straight shooters that have never tried to upsell me on a single thing. Rich is the man and has listened to all my requests, taken notes on em and had them in the system for my next stop in. Couldn’t recommend these guys enough

The women who works there when changing my tires over to my winters tires, noticed I had a temporary plug in. She replaced it for a permanent plug at no extra cost! The rest of the staff are nice and there shop is clean. There prices are reasonable. Will go back again!

I didnt see my 5 star review on here for this great company, so Im going to re-post it here again AND across all platforms so that EVERYONE sees it.These guys, and this company, are simply amazing! They take great care of our cars and always get us in and out quickly since they know we live relatively far away and that we need our tires placed early/removed late during the changeover seasons due to our residence on a mountainside (yes, really). Weve bought several sets of Hakkapeliitta studded snow tires from them and they always place/remove them with great care to our vehicles.Rich, Ty, and Kao are the guys we know best and who we ask for by name, but Im certain your needs will be well served by whomever is there.For your tire/wheel purchasing (and vehicle repair needs) always call these guys first - they are a local business who earns our highest recommendation!

BEST TIRE SHOP IN STATE. I have been using these guys for last 10 years and there service is top notch, fast and very reliable. Recently got new tires balanced and rotated for free and they are doing a brake job.

The staff is good but they are always busy during tire changing season. You have to be there before they open sometimes because they max out the number of cars they do in a few minutes after opening.

This has been a great spot for all my tire needs and I don’t plan on going anywhere else!

The last time I went here they did a great job! Good customer service no complain about their works. No appointments first come first serve.At this time I brought my 03 Envoy for tire swap. I had a wheel spacer installed on my Envoy. After they swapped my tires the guy in front (Tao) customer service told me the studs broke on my wheel spacer It was to tight. And told me they can replace it but, it will cost me $100 to replace and install. WOW!! They broke my wheel studs and now Im the one will pay for them to replace it..Good people bad service! Thanks for breaking my wheel stud scratched my rim and damaged my driver side inner fender plastic protection.

I went to Alyeska tire yesterday, in a bit of a hurry to get new tires and concerned because I was having trouble finding what I needed in town.They provided an accurate quote and had the car ready 2.5 hours later. I received high quality tires for less than the three other vendors I received quotes from in town. The warranty package on the tires is exceptional and the customer service was awesome. Im really happy with my experience at Alyeska Tire.

Great products and people. The employees are honest, helpful and very knowledgeable. Their prices aren’t always the lowest, but they add value in areas such as knowledge, free alignment check and standing behind their products (with more statewide locations than Costco for sure). The prices are still competitive with other retail shops in town or purchasing/ shipping tires from the lower 48.

Top notch service. They talked me into a set of Kenda MTs and I’m stoked I didn’t have to compromise on how they handle in the winter. They look good too.

NOT recommended for any service other than tires. For a 90 dollar oil change I would expect an all fluids check (nope!)and not have to contend with an oil leak afterward. Then be told that, of course, its not an oil leak. I may be blonde, but I know the smoke and mirrors act when I see it.

Nice bad, let see if they install a studded tire on my car...

Grate service and helpful staff are just the icing on the warranty beat place to get a set with the reliability you need for are long roads.

My husband called from location 8 hrs out of anchorage and bought 2 trailer tires - clearly said make sure they’re 5 hole tires several times. He bought and paid for them. I was in town and picked them up, got back to site, and guess what they’re 4 hole tires. Waiting for some resolution.

Dealing with Thai and Rich is a treat. They are very knowledgeable and answer any question you have. Theres a reason so many people deal with Alyeske Tire.

I cannot express how appreciative I am of the respect shown to both myself and my vehicle. They were friendly, knowledgeable, and really took the time to explain everything and get me back on the road safely without unnecessary repairs. Courteous staff. Generally speedy service. Clean showroom (heavy tire off-gassing though). Not the cheapest in town but you do get what you pay for.

Both Rich and Thai know their stuff and have great depth of knowledge. You will get a fair shake and the most honest service in town. Thou can count on a competent inspection for anything too. Its nice to know you dont have to shop for tires or alignments or change overs anywhere else.

Great tires, great job, the only flaw is the wait time but that happens when you are an in hight demand tire shop going into winter and everyone wants their winter tires or a stuffing job done.But we are very happy with our tires and with the job well done.

I’ve used them before and they were very helpful. Today I had a flat on my way home from work and wasn’t going to make it to them until around 6pm when they closed. I called ahead and no questions asked, they kept the doors open and repaired my tire. Great service and saved me a lot of hassle!

After another tire shop in town (Alaska tire service) TWICE put bad sets of tires that either had holes or didnt fit; then wouldnt put on another set I had purchased on my own because they werent stock size. Alyeska had me in that afternoon and soon had my tires changed over without issue. Such better service.

I walked in Alyeska tire in old sewer highway with many questions about studded tires. Bruce and Rich patiently answered all my questions and helped me to choose the the top quality Hakkapeliitta tires. If you want good quality tires and being treated with patience and respect, this is the tire store you should go. I highly recommend this store to anyone.

I came in early and they didnt appear busy. It was just to have an old tire pulled off a rim and swapped onto my spare (which recently blew out). I was in and out in like 25 mins. Cost 26.00$ and they got rid of my old blown out tire.Thanks Guys

In the past Alyeska has provided great service, however, tonight was a much different story. I brought a tire in to be patched at 4:40. I did not realize that the store closed at 5:00, as Google has the hours listed as 6:00 for closing. I was met with indifference and apologized that I didn’t know they closed in 20 minutes. They pride themselves on customer service, but it should be more like customer avoidance. It was clear that everyone wanted to go home for the night and no attempt was made to try and repair my tire, a task that should’ve taken 5-10 minutes... I was asked to come back in the morning which was extremely inconvenient given they don’t open until 9:00. I have to be to work prior to that time and their “customer service” has put me in a bind.

Took my truck in for an oil change a few months ago when I moved here since I didn’t have tools yet. Went to change it myself today and the drain bolt was obviously Overtighten and is now unable to come out. Went in and was told there was magically no data of me coming in for an oil change pretty ironic.

They had my tires rotated in 30 min. Awesome service

They did a great job changing my tire. They even put the spare tire back where it belonged.

Went in for tire plug, they did it quickly and were friendly. Our windshield fluid light was on and they filled that no charge. That was awesome, Thanks!

Id give them no stars if it was possible. They tell me to show up an hour before they opened. They were supposed to order tires for me. Not only did they not order tires they kept my car for 5 hours ... until I called to see if they were done before they told me they hadnt ordered the tires. They wasted an entire Saturday. Then I went to Alaska Tire who was much much better they matched the price on my Nokkian tires and had them installed an hour after I showed up.

Discovered a screw in my tire, you could hear the air leaking out. That was at 5:30, called Aleyeska Tire. Asked what time they closed - 6 oclock. Described my problem, Rich said show up before 6 and well get you taken care of. Made it and sure enough! Within 30 minutes of arriving, screw removed, tire patched and happy customer back on the road. Awesome customer service!

Do you like basically being called an idiot?? When I came in the first thing I asked the guy at the front desk are y’all going to use clip weights on my AFTERMARKET wheels. He told me confidently “we wouldn’t do that because it would be pointless and it would scratch the wheels” When I got my truck back I checked the fronts of the wheels to make sure they weren’t scratched and they weren’t they were good BUT then when I got home later I flipped my spare in the bed to find not only clip weights on my AFTERMARKET wheels but they also dug into my paint on all my wheels getting my old sticky weights off!!!! When I told the first kid about the scratches I was told “oh that’s normal how else would we remove the sticky weights” and then asked me if I wanted my tires rebalanced because of the dang clip weights!! Ya I want more scratches on my wheels...no thanks!!! I was in such disbelief of the customer service I came back about an hour later to talk to the man that told me they wouldn’t put clip weights on my AFTERMARKET wheels, who I also would believe to be the manager. Who told me he had a meeting with “his guys” about installing clip weights on AFTERMARKET wheels but also he told me they just happen to scratch wheels sometimes. So not only does he know his guys scratch clients wheels BUT he also was fully aware of the fact that his guys put clip weights on a customers wheels and never said anything! Never coming back here again!

Friendly staff and great prices

Surely some business can do a better job for loyal customers than the no appt approach to tire changes. There s got to be an online scheduling program that would facilitate this. You could charge a schedule fee that is forfeited for no shows. You could even charge extra for appts. The amount of time this wastes your loyal customers is not good customer service, and probably has a significant negative impact in lost productivity across all sectors of Anchorage if someone like ICER would measure it. Surely some business can do better.
