You need it, they have it. I have never gone here looking for something seemed like they would have and not walked away with exactly what I needed. Cant say that about Ace and Home Depot. Its usually my second stop for these things, sometimes you can find it elsewhere, but always my last stop. Screws, washers, nuts bolts, compressor fittings, etc.

What can I say about this place? If you need hardware, they have it. In all sizes and configurations. If youre looking for tools, safety products, paint accessories, electrical supplies, fasteners, plumbing, HVAC, come here. Come on and look around. Youll find something you need. Or something you want.

If they dont have it it probably doesnt exist. Huge selection great knowledgeable staff been going here for over 30 years.

Place is crazy. Couldnt find a specific nut size at the big box store, so my bike shop recommended coming here. Tons of screws, bolts, and nuts that it becomes overwhelming, but the staff is helpful.

These guys have the parts your local big box store doesnt. That is in fact how I heard about this place: I couldnt find what I wanted at the local BBS and they asked incredulously Havent you heard of McFadden-Dale? They have a wide variety of hardware-store type things and touch a bit on industrial supplies too. So if youre a hardcore DIYer, or you do light industrial whether at home or professionally, this is a great place to know about. Where they get minus points are: their operating hours (short), their prices (high), and their customer service (what customer service?). The most frequent complaints Ive heard is about their customer service. What Ive found is they dont like novices. They dont want, & dont have the time to walk your average clueless home-user through the myriad solutions to a problem or guide them through the consequential myriad of products that could fix that problem. They like you to know what youre talking about, and so long as you present them with an air of confidence, whether a bluff or not, theyll treat you fairly. Its a bit of a guy thing, and so long as you think of it as such, guys ribbing guys, youre okay. I suspect for women, so long as they arent annoyingly clueless, they are likely treated with great deference. So if youre shopping here you should be more competent than the average DIYer, but then again, if youre shopping here you probably are.

I needed 2 nuts for a removal of a bolt that stripped in my 99 F-150, I was looking in the standard sets and older employee told me that it was metric after I brought up the front when I couldnt find a direct fit. After he showed me to the correct place and made my day way easier! Thank you

Staff always polite, friendly and helpful. Signs on restrooms are confusing. There are malr/female but also staff only. However you see men using the womens restroom. Without uniforms, are they staff or public? When you have to go, you dont have much time to inquire....please be specific and clear.

This place has everything I always need. Huuuuge stock on hand. Went in looking for 4 of 3/8 Tygon F 4040 A fuel tubing and it was on the shelf. I got my son going to get stuff all the time and when we need something he asks does McFannen Dale have it? Not cheap but close to home and on hand.

Now when your there see the man with the Dodgers cap this guy knows every tool known to man whatever you need there he knows exactly where it is. Hes worked there for 35 years at least. I found a bolt that was very difficult to find at five other businesses. The bolt that I needed was a 8mm 1.25 by 20mm and it cost me only forty cents.

This place has (almost) every single type of hardware - screws, nuts, connections, etc that you can imagine. In stainless, brass, black, galvanized, or raw So if you are looking for something those other hardware stores just dont carry - This IS the place. Prices - reasonable! And the service is good too. So, when you need hardware that the others dont carry, look them up.

A little more expensive than others, but lots of professional quality tools and parts. The staff are extremely knowledgeable!! A massive selection of stainless steel hardware, and various odds and ends you cant find elsewhere. Think of this place as the opposite of a harbor freight, or as a brick-and-mortar McMaster-Carr.

Customer service is fantastic! Ive been back there 3 times and every time I have have been there three times and every time the service has been wonderful and solid. However at the very last time I was there there was a bit of an sarcastic attitude from a young man which I will not disclose at this time but was still helpful. This place seems to have everything that I need including instructions on where to get the things that they dont carry. I think I could shop at this store just looking around at all the possibilities for over 3 hours and still enjoy my time Im not sure about the other one.

Better than Home Depot by a far Stretch! I searched for a metric bolt and they had exactly what I was looking for. The selection of fasteners here is huge in comparison to other hardware stores.
