The services I requested at Midas was my brakes and rotors. I truly have to commend the store manager Ray A. for being so professional, accommodating and providing great service. They have top notch quality and service and we’re able to work with me for a price I could afford. If you want the real deal for auto service I highly recommend Midas in Anaheim.

I had a very bad experience at this workshop,Ramiro (technician and shop manager) is NOT a mechanic at all, he does not even have the basic knowledge of the motor vehicles, after 3 days of telling me different stories about the problem of my car and waisting my time, I took the car back as it is and I gave it to a real mechanic, he did it in 3 hours and charged me only 30% of what Midas was offering me at the last story.Be careful of those kind of shops.

I have brought my Rav4 here few times now. Mostly for oil changes, but I also took my car here to get new brakes. The first time I came here, Ray was really helpful. I feel like it is hard to find a place that wont upcharge you on things you dont really need or lie to you to get you to spend more money on your car. Ray tells me exactly what I need and if I could potentially wait on the service he is recommending. Definitely trust the staff here. One staff member was even nice enough to recommend a windshield replacement guy when I had a cracked windshield! I highly recommend taking your car here if you need to get your car serviced.

9/25/2020 I came in for a basic oil change for my red Honda Accord. I was super hesitant about this place given I was told I should ONLY do my oil changes at the dealership (*eyeroll*) But times are hard and I need to pinch EVERY penny. I HIGLY recommend you guys come here and ask for Ray! Mind you this is a new owner and whole new staff! Since I was a child this has always been a Midas and then the owner, James, sold the business and it went under a new name and whole new identity. That didn’t do so well so Midas came back to this location as of a year or so ago. Anyways I took a chance and came in and I’m so glad I did. I came around noon and Ray did inform me what my wait would be (about 1-1 1/2) but suggested I come back later towards closing. I came in and was out in LESS then an hour! $53 total! If I would have gone to the dealer it would have been closer to $90 and about a 3 hr wait!TIPS!!! *Please heed my warning and have common sense*1) INQUIRE ABOUT AN APPOINTMENT! (Half of the reviews I had read on this place are all about how long someone had to wait and how they had horrible service because they had to wait.)2) KEEP IN MIND THERE ARE OTHER APPOINTMENTS BEFORE YOU!3) IT IS YOUR RESPONSIBILITY to inform techs of ANY issues you might have with your car! They are not wizards! Communication is key! A simple, “Hey my car is leaking could you check it out?” If you don’t say anything and drive off and your car continues to leak, remember YOU DID NOT AUTHORIZE them to do anything other then an oil change. Keep that in mind folks.4) ASK FOR RAY!I highly recommend this place, for the price, location, and professionalism.

This is A Update As of October 2. 2021 This is a copy of what I just sent to Midas Corp!!!Its so easy to complain about bad service. I would like to send kudos to our Midas store. We have brought our family cars here and my Dads as well. Over the last couple years, we have spent a chunk of change on needed services. Since this Midas reopened, we have received excellent services and advice. So no complaints, this is the good one thats keeps us coming back and we refer friends, family and strangers to this facility. Thank you Anaheim Midas!~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~Third visit here between a sedan and a SUV over the last year. Today, we met the owner for the first time. As well as other workers we knew previously. This may be a big name company, but this is a family owned shop. We have had no issues here so far. I honestly feel that this family company will stand behind their work. They want to treat you fairly so you will come back again!Thank you Anaheim Midas! You guys are the greatest!Support the little guys!!

This place will charge you and not actually get the work done. When I asked for their license number to report them to the bar, Ramiro, the manager, said he was not allowed to give me that info over the phone. FYI - I found out that their license number (EPA #) is actually on the receipt along with their bar number. Ramiro said to look at the notes and the notes says remove and replace steering gear complete the steering wheel is still off and my alignment is way off. If you guys couldnt complete the job then you shouldnt have charged me for the job completed! Its that simple!! So not only will they charge you for not completing the job, but they also lie! I recommend going else where. I looked at some customers reviews and all they say is sorry for the inconvenience please go to this website blah blah...I will be reporting this auto shop to the bar and hope to get my refund asap!

Dont waste your time!Went in for tires at 10:30am on a Monday. The guy at the counter said if the tires are ordered by 11am, they would be able to put them on for us by 3pm or 4pm. Perfect! So we decided to go ahead and hang out in the area (mind you its 100°F outside) and wait for them to call us. We decided to drive back to their shop at 4pm because they HAVE TO have the tires there by now.So we got there only to find out that the tires would not be arriving afterall. They may arrive tomorrow at 10am. No apologies, no offer to discount services for the inconvenience.WHAT A JOKE!!!We went down the street to JR wheels and tires and they had tires cheaper AND put them on in 25 minutes!!! I dropped by on a Saturday to get my vans breaks fixed which was satisfactory that is why I do recommend this particular repair shop (Midas Anaheim) for 3 reasons;1. Most important the wonderful staff, thank you James and thanks Alex, for taking the time to explain what the issue was and being informative stage by stage, PROFESSIONAL.2. They took good care and they know what they are doing, I could tell when I drove my van back to home because I had the same repair done somewhere else a year ago and did not see the results I saw this time, so TRUSTWORTHY.3. My van was fixed on time as promised, they started after 11:00 and got my car test drived before 4:00 by the way it was a major break repair job and that time included all the phone calls back and forth, PUNCTUAL.Thanks Midas Anaheim Team!!!

Ive been to a few repair shops, and they always seemed to go out of their way to make me a repeat customer. Not so much here. They kept calling me by my last name (despite it clearly stating my first name on the paperwork), even when having personal, one-on-one conversations about my car. Im fairly confident he thought my last name was my first name, especially later on -- when I came to collect my keys, he started dropping the s and took to calling me Steven.I was originally going to have a friend pick me up and drive me back to their place, but I stuck around when they indicated that it shouldnt take too long to get things started. The work took a little while; about 1 hour before they called me in to show me the problem and about 2 hours to get it fixed. Part of this is their schtick, since they say they check everything before doing any work, so itll take longer (although in my experience, most places check everything anyway). Even so, Ill give them a pass here.Once it was fixed, my car sat outside in the parking lot for about 45 minutes before they called me up to collect my keys. I was able to see my car out the window that whole time, but the gentleman behind the counter was busy with other customers and I wasnt sure if they were waiting for someone to finish some paperwork or something. The work cost about $35 less than they quoted me; they quoted $235 to replace 2 worn belts in the engine (the alternator belt and something else) but it only wound up costing $200 (which, Im told, is about average). The car seems to run okay, so it seems they did a good job. I couldnt read the handwriting on the paper they gave me telling me what they checked in my car, and they didnt really go over anything I should worry about in my car when giving me back the keys. On the other hand, they also didnt tell me that everything in my car was fine -- they just called me up (by my last name again), took my money, handed me the keys, and sent me on my way.Overall, the place was okay, but next time I think I might look around for another auto shop nearby.

Something was scraping inside our vans brakes after a long drive to Disneyland. Since we didnt know any shops in the area, we were worried wed find a car shop that would take advantage of tourists. We picked Midas in Anaheim based on a few good reviews. They were excellent for us: got the van right in, pulled the wheels off for a thorough inspection, found nothing, and just chalked it up to a rock or something that got in and then fell out. They were honest and professional, and we ended up paying $25 for their trouble. Highly recommended.

Complaint SummaryComplaint Type: Consumer to Business ComplaintNature of complaint: Service IssuesProblem description:I had over $900 worth of work done at this Midas shop. When I returned later that day, I had noticed the rear drivers side hub cap was missing. I didnt go into logistics about it, I merely brought it to the attention of a one James, individual who worked there. He started analyzing how it could have wasnt found and that all of the workers had worked to try and find it. Then he James went as far as to actually accuse me of trying to get a free hub cap after spending over $900 there.Desired Resolution: RefundDesired OutcomeI want Midas to send me a refund check in the correct amount for the hub cap as the hub cap was on the vehicle when I brought in the car and I expect the hub cap to be on the car when I pick up the car. I dont want to hear excuse why the hub cap wasnt there. Either they find it or replace it, its just that simple. They can mail me the check for the hub cap.

And I believe I was speaking with the manager too..who wasnt even in a uniform...he looked at me like I was dumb when I asked for a quote on a oil change like they only have one price...yet he tells me 3 different prices, which is why I asked. Then after that he said 2 cars are in front of me and it should take about 2 hours....i could easily do 3 oil changes in 1 hour on the streets with NO SHOP LIFT OR TOOLS! But I was with my 2 year old daughter so I couldnt do so myself ....SMH...this shop is a joke...the only worker they had working on cars was some 18 or 19 year old kid....theyre staff ABSOLUTELY SUCKS!As I walked out the manager said itll take 2 hours anywhere you go as I went to the meineke up the street and they did it in about 15 minutes for $10 less than what Midas was going to charge me

Ive come to this Midas several times for several cars with several issues. The first time, I was new in the area and looking for a shop that didnt look as sketchy as most of the others in the area, and when I saw there was a Midas I figured theyd be a shop I could trust. The car limped over there, and James was simply amazing. He knew what he was talking about, he advised my girlfriend and I, and he even mentioned the deals/coupons that were available (which helped soften the blow from the $1000+ bill). The price we were quoted was around the average for what needed to be done, and the bill turned out to be a bit lower than the quote which was awesome. Ever since, Ive trusted James and this Midas with everything I need done. When I bought a used car that started feeling a bit off while driving, this place scoffed at the price the dealership quoted me and told me it should cost about $40 less, and it only took them a couple hours. All in all, this is where Id point anyone in the area whos having car troubles, and theyve got me as a loyal customer.

This place is the worst, do not go here. I would give it a negative infinity if I could. They had done an estimate because our check engine light went on, they said it was a misfire on number 5 , they gave us a estimate we said yes, then they told us what time it would be ready, that same day. They repeatedly changed the time our car would be ready by DAYS, yes DAYS. Not only did they NOT fix the problem, they did an oil change WITHOUT our PERMISSION even though I had done an oil change a week ago elsewhere. I urge you not to go there for anything, they will put in things you DONT need, WITHOUT your permission. We called multiple times and they NEVER ASKED OUR PERMISSION for the work they said they did, they just CHARGED US, added on to the bill. We went after constantly calling to find out if it was ready, they ended up telling us they had no idea what was wrong with it, they why LIE? This place set us back $500 dollars, to do things our car DID NOT NEED and NEVER FIXED our actual problem, very unprofessional. They replaced things that DID NOT need replacing.

Set up a call online for oil change, front brakes and rotors. Email tells me they will call me within 1 hour. almost 3 hours later I get a call. At first he does the run around trying to dodge a price quote. Just bring it in. They know if you come in, even if the price is high you are more likely to get the work done once already there. Explained the car was inspected by a Honda Certified inspector 4 months ago and all it needed was rotors. He then told me it would be in the low 300s to replace the rotors and pads. I scoffed. He then told me the price for parts was nearly 200. I told him I could buy the parts myself much cheaper. He then said well if you want to get some cheap low quality parts... I told him I had a price quote for high end performance aftermarket parts of $119. He then tells me well theres 2 hours of labor. First off, if anyone ever tells you it will take 2 hours to change your rotors and pads, on a lift, with impact tools... they are either full of excrement, a moron, or ripping you off. I was looking to get it done as I dont have the time to do it myself this week. I usually do it myself with a hand jack, hand tools, and 2 wooden blocks in 45 mins. You let me use a lift and an impact wrench, it would take less than 30 mins... anyways. After the bit about parts cost, he tells me the scheduled labor table time is 2 hours and they charge $95 an hour. !!!!$95 an hour!!!!! I have gone to BMW dealerships and paid less. This is besides the fact that if labor =$190 +parts $200 (just for the rotors) you have a total before pads of $390. How is that the low 300s? Very dismissive, laughed when I called him on his BS, and was rude. I would take public transportation before dealing with a lying crook like this guys. BTW 2 dealerships quoted me at a much lower price, and a local indie shop up the street did even better and is allowing me to bring my own parts in as they dont carry in stock what I want. Do yourself a favor and find a local indie mechanic you can trust. Stay away from these chain shops that screw you on a one time profit instead of trying to create a lasting customer/client relationship. P.S. No, I am not an indie mechanic that is trolling. Just a regular guy tired of people getting bent over so some manager and exec can drive an Escalade.
