We were camping nearby and were craving dessert. We decided to try Fidalgo drive up. We ordered blackberry shakes. The large was huge and worth the $7.29 price tag. You can see the large berries and taste the real ice cream. It was very thick and creamy. I want to try the other flavors and food. They have burgers,fish & chips & more. They even have a pineapple float. Totally recommend this place. Its nostalgic,clean, with friendly staff.

We came in pretty late right before closing we were craving ice cream. My husband got a large milkshake and I a vanilla cone. I tipped 4 bucks because the cashier was so nice and we came in so late I wanted them to know we appreciated it. So it cost 16 for just that but it was worth it very yummy and great proportions! The large shake is huge! I’d visit again to try other items on the menu. The inside looked very clean and well maintained too. Staff was nice.

Fabulous car side ordering and delivery of classic American food. Double bacon cheddar burger was excellent - juicy but not dripping. The bun was really tasty too - looked fresh baked. Fish and chips (we subbed tots) were excellent. Tartar sauce was on point. The chicken nuggets were like super fancy McD’s nuggets - not quite beer battered, but not crumbly breading either.The shakes were really well done as well. Nice that you can get a malt here, made the hubby happy.HUGE dinner with leftovers and shakes for three plus a nice tip for the friendly car hop was $60, and well worth it - especially since we had both our dogs with us, so this was a couple steps above the usual in-car dining options.

A little spendy, but astonishing quality.But like all good burgers you have to eat it on site, dont wait till you get home. I live 2 hours away, however I try to pick up a mocha shake every time Im in town.

This place is so much fun! You drive in and push a button once you figure out what you want to order. They have a large menu with a wide variety of foods. Burgers fish and chips that kind of thing. We go there for the milkshakes which are outstanding. Very thick and delicious. Its a popular place and service can get a little slow at times but just chill out and make conversation. Its a pleasant enough way to pass an afternoon. The food is outstanding and the pricing is very fair. Weve only sampled a few things on the menu but every time were in town we swing by at least for the milkshakes.

I loved this place! It is a drive-in for real. The staff was young but good. They even offered to drop a patty on the grill for my dog. The fish and chowder were out of this world. Keep up the good work guys.

We were in area buying a vehicle from the local Ford dealer and got hungry... man on man is this place great! The French fries were so good my wife and I were going to go back for more before we left town. Burgers were good as well but those fries! We live in Port Angeles so not too convenient to swing by for more.. but when ever we go through the area we will definitely be stopping here again!

Old school all the way. Carhops if you can believe it. Decent drive-in food focused on burgers, fish and chips, and much more, although in the same vein. Eat in your car or a table inside. We are repeat customers and will continue to patronize them.

An old A&W drive -in turned into its own business. Serving some breakfast until noon. Variety of burgers, chicken, seafood by Ivars (locally founded restaurants of its own)nice salad variety, shake flavors, and sodas. Soft serve ice cream, sundaes, floats and of course fries, and onion rings etc!

Drive up and park next to lit up menu board push the button when your darn good and ready. The carhop comes out and takes your order. Same as things were in the 1950s. Prawns and chips, rootbeer and chocolate shakes. French dip for my granddaughter. All as good as way back when. The car hops were friendly. Good time

So, really the foods not terrible. Tater tots are pretty decent and the shakes are really good. That being said if youve ever been there, and if you like me, you probably wouldnt let your daughter work there either, unless, you want to see her run around in skin tight glorifying yoga pants.

First time there, was not impressed with service, asked for no onion. She didnt listen and delivered a burger with onion. Otherwise the burger was reasonably good

A fun little spot for a quick burger. If you get a milkshake I wouldnt git one with anything mixed in as they dont have large straws so it will get clogged constantly.

They pay their wait staff $23 an hour and food is affordable and delicious.

The service was good, I just didnt like my food. I ordered a crab sandwich that was extra fishy flavored. The staff was very friendly and refunded the sandwich happily. My husband got a burger and said it was alright. Not our favorite. Staff was great though.

Always worth a stop when in Anacortes. Great burgers and of course you have to have the root beer float. Sad Covid has them putting the floats in a to go cup but I’m sure that is temporary.

Yummy I had chili dog and fries both were delicious and filling I couldnt finish it all so I took the leftovers home, my sweetie enjoyed the leftovers for his work lunch.I ordered a icecream it tasted sour to me and my sweetie, I took it to the counter and they agreed gave me a refund.I am looking forward to returning an having a soft served icecream, the food and service were both good.

Get the Dungeness crab burger when its season. All crab. Great. Their other food is good too. I was quite pleased with the fish and chips.

My son and I recently had some root beer floats here. Service was prompt and friendly. The floats were good enough. The exterior looks like it needs some TLC. Next time I’m in Anacortes, I’ll give them another try.

Good old fashioned drive in or dine in burger place. I had the Bacon Cheese Burger, onion rings, tots, and an Orio shake. Fidalgo did not disappoint, consistently good food. They had very good service to the car. They come to the car, take your order and bring you your food. Nice service that they have always had, even more convenient with Covid. Shop local stop at Fidalgo.

We love stopping here on our way to or from Orcas Island. The food is a good value and the staff are very nice. Service is always quick if you are in a hurry.

Being allergic to seafood, I didn’t try the crab sandwich or the oyster burger but I bet they’re great! I got a side salad with my sandwich and it was huge! Olives, hard boiled egg, cherry tomatoes, and croutons topped my large *side* salad. Tried my friend’s burger. Very tasty. Our other friend enjoyed the French dip. But I’m willing to bet this place is known for its fried seafood. So there’s something for everyone on their menu! Not your average drive in.

We were catching a ferry to Orcas and we wanted some quick lunch. We tried Fidalgo Drive In. The food was made to order, was hot and the service was great. The burgers were good! My only complaint, would be the fries. Nothing to get excited about. We will definitely go back.

I was absolutely horrified and embarrassed today when I went in and ordered my regular sandwich, I mentioned to the girl I thought they had overcharged me last time when my sister picked up my food. They charged me $ 5.00 fr two extra pieces of bacon.. the cook white male shaved head came out to my truck and berated me in front of a full parking lot. Told me o leave and not come back ever. I am still in a state of shock. I get food there t least 2 times a week. I want to know who owns it or who is the manager no one should be treated with such disrespect I am writing this for my sister who is not able to do computers or texting.

Cute drive-in, fries are better than the tots so get the fries, the burgers were alright (clearly frozen patties then slightly overcooked, but all toppings and buns were solid).

We tried getting a small cup of choc ice cream. No choc. The only ones they had was vanilla and pineapple. We decided on pineapple. Big mistake. It came with canned pineapple juice and a little bit of ice cream. Wont get that again

We visited at lunch time on a Saturday and it was busy. Despite that, the service was excellent and fast. Our food was very good and portions were perfect. Restrooms are available, but they may not work for someone using a wheelchair.

Best burger ive had in a while, did a burger basket with steak fries and an Oreo chocolate milk shake. Was on a trip and needed dinner, I would choose this place again when visting another time.

I appreciate Jakob Smith, it’s condescending of the owners to react the way they did. I appreciate our community looking out for each other. There’s a reason why enforcement of masks is saving lives and being rude to those that speak up is wrong. If Jakob isn’t welcome after pointing this out then I plan on not being a patron either.

Best lunch play in the town of Anacortes

Ordered 1/2lb Sirloin White Cheddar burger meal. I’ve had better burgers at a free work bbq. First off, it didn’t have cheese on it at all. The patty was pre frozen and pre cooked, served lukewarm. Steak fries were as expected. Don’t think I’ll spend money here again.

My friend goes to this place right, were both in 9th grade, and he sees a group of grown adults in the restaurant without masks, actively putting people in danger of getting covid-19. When my friend brings this up the the resturaunt itself, the owner continues to insult the 9th grader and block him from leaving google reviews. Not only is this concerning, but Ive only eaten here a couple times as the food isnt high enough quality for me to seek it out, and what Ive gotten both times was the chicken tenders. As the legend Cornelius Fillmore might say, That chicken was dry. Real dry. Not to mention the place gives off the same vibes as a public bathroom.

They have never had an issue making puppy pattys for my dog, and only charge me for the patty not a whole burger like some places do! I enjoy stopping here to pick up takeout for picnics at deception pass or one of the other many beaches near by. The shakes are amazing, and the food is a step up from most chain fast food places.
