Was pleasantly surprised to find a copy of Wingspan here a while back when none were available! Just a nice example of the awesomeness of popping over to a local shop.

So my family has been in here quite a few times, usually the ten-year-old and six-year-old with their grandma, but I think yesterday was my first time in. I was very impressed with their selection, staff, and prices. They seemed to have something for everyone (stuffed animals, family board games, specific age group board games, puzzles, and little Knick knacks type things). They even had D&D stuff for the same prices as online retailers. Staff was COVID-courteous - polite, nice and friendly but also maintaining good social distancing.Experience made it fun to buy something and I’ll definitely be back!

This has an amazing selection for everyone of all ages. Diane is super friendly and gives people space to ask questions or browse the awesome selection. My family and I will definitely return for board games and to talk the Green Bay Packers. Go Pack!

Owner is incredibly kind to her customers. Shes very knowledgeable about her product, and always willing to help you find the right game for you and your friends. When it comes to her MTG events, she is amazing. Offering many of times, during an MTG even, food, water, and a welcoming atmosphere, you cant ask for a better place to casually play with friends.

Ive never had such rude customer service. She watched my family the whole time and when she wasnt staying us I needed to grab the 2 for .25 mexican train pieces. We wanted our one year old son to pick because he often sits on our laps and plays. Anyways she flies over and is looking over our shoulders and sighing. It started making me feel very uncomfortable. We pick the ones we wanted and I changed my mind on one and went to switch. Knowing shes watching carefully made me start getting anxious/upset. So I on accidently dropped them everywhere. Already embarrassed she yells, Thats why it says ask for help!! In the most snotty tone.Im mortified and it seems me into a full on panic attack. I had to leave the store to calm myself. After I came back on find out my boyfriend had even more of a horrible interaction with her. 2 for 25 cents lady?We came to cheer us up after overcoming a family tragedy....Stuff was way to expensive, youre rude and we are going to tell everyone the customer service we got every time

Theres a lot of cool stuff inside, a lot of which i wouldve liked to purchase if it wasnt for the old womans demeanor. She was rude, shouted at my children and generally gave the impression that i was to buy stuff quickly and get out.Luckily there are similar businesses in Anacortes. I think its worth a look inside, but i wouldnt want to validate the behavior with a purchase. Pass.

Boxes and Bears Is all in all a very pleasant experiance. While offering a wide veriety of board games, tabletop, miniature and trading card games, the atmosphere is friendly to anyone, regardless of interest. There is something here for everyone, and I encourage anyone to check it out any chance i get. Their prices are great considering its a small shop, and for a while, Catan was actually cheaper here than on Amazon!
