Mr. Jon Natto spoke to my husband about building a top/enclosure for the aft deck of our boat. He required a $1,000 deposit to secure the contract. After three weeks, Mr. Natto said he was coming to take measurements on the boat--he never showed or called. On the 4th week we took a memory-foam mattress to be cut for the V-berth. Mr. Natto insisted that he could not do shoddy work by following the current mattress as a template--I called a couple of days later and asked if he would just cut 20 off the mattress so that it would be 60 instead of 80. I got no reply. Two weeks later, I called and left a message and told Mr. Natto that due to other expenses with the boat, we had decided to cancel the contract and that if he had done the cutting on the foam, to let us know what the charge was for that; and since he had not even measured the boat, to keep $100 for his trouble and return the foam and the remainder of the deposit.On June 15, I went to his house to pick up the foam. He was very rude to me and said that he was not going to speak to me because the contract was with my husband, not me. He had a very nasty tone when he told me to get that foam out of his garage He had not cut the foam. He attempted to help me put the foam in my van, but it wouldnt fit. He threw it off to the side of the driveway onto some shrubs. I told him I would go take the seats and mobility scooter out of the van and would return to pick up the foam mattress. I asked him is he was going to refund the $900 of the deposit and again he became very caustic and stated that he hadnt made the deal with me and if my husband wanted the money, he should call. I explained that my husband was in the hospital in Portland because he had fallen on the boat was going to need surgery.His answer was I am not going to be a victim of your problems. And, I am not wasting any more of my time or effort on you people since you are no longer customers. I am not calling anyone, Have your husband call me.I will personally NEVER deal with this man or his company again. I drove to his home and put the [ heavy, King sized, memory foam] mattress in the van by myself. His wife watched through the living room window. As I left, I called out to her, Tell Jon, I will see him in Court.
