Super fun place to shop with my friends over the weekend but if you want to go to sell your clothes I wouldnt suggest it. We gave them like 20 name brand/nice clothing items that were practically brand new and they only accepted one of them after an hour wait inside the store. Other than that great customer service and cute clothes for any style. They have tons of trendy stuff for normally over half the original price. Shein, Vans, Nike, you name it.

Uptown Cheapskate has a great selection of lightly used, fashionable clothes. I was especially impressed with the selection of shoes in practically new condition. My daughters were able to find some really cute clothes for the upcoming school year at an affordable rate. My only complaint was that I stood at the counter waiting to check out for quite a while with six employees just chatting with each other, completely oblivious. I finally asked to please be helped. My rating would be 5 star if not for that.

The girls there were so nice even though I stayed a little late in the store. And I got the best deals I’ve had in 3 years. It was definitely worth the stop.

I love to shop second hand and this place makes it easier. It’s better than having to sort through tons of racks of clothes at thrift store. The prices are higher than a traditional thrift store because the clothes are curated and more new, but it’s definitely worth it!

I was super excited to find out there was a place like this for adults! The staff was very friendly and the clothes are in great condition. I will definitely spread the word and I look forward to going back.

I love this store, I would highly recommend going, it has great clothing choices and all at an affordable price. For example, I paid for a $12 pair of jeans rather then paying $50 for the exact same pair at another store.

I love this place. I have scored on great quality items that look like new, for me & my husband. It does take some sorting through clothes, but not as much as other secondhand shops Ive been to.

What a good trade! I got an iPhone for a good price! Now it is used, but it works, and thats all that matters.Tho I am very happy with my new iPhone, there are a few problems. The screen has a permanent crack, but the touch screen still works, you just need to tap super hard. The other problem is that a Virus Warning comes up on the screen daily, but the weird thing is that it is a Computer Virus, and not a phone virus.

I believe the ladys that work there are real and they keep it that way and they seem to enjoy there job witch its hard to sometimes walk out with a smile on your face I walked out with one on mine today and I am not much of a people person I believe that they are very fair on there prices I have gotten several Rock revival jeans there for a amazing price when you can go to other places they charge more then there prices I got a pair of rock revivals today for less then 50 bucks I enjoy this place when I have some money I always remember to go to uptown cheapskate they are sweet and wonderful ladys I definitely have my favorites and she helped me today and she remembers my name thats what makes me want to come back there because its nice to be remember by her such a sweetheart I give this a 5 star depite eveone elses opinions to me its the people who make it worth your while

Absolutely LOVE Uptown Cheapskates. Their pricing is incredibly fair, and there are so many brands there such as Madewell, Free the People, American Eagle, Urban Outfitters, even designers like Gucci and Michael Kors. The atmosphere is amazing and I can’t recommend it enough.

Friendly employees. Very relaxing to browse. Lots of cute items. Prices are a little steep for name brands you can find new at TJMaxx.

I gave them $1,500 worth of brand new, name brand clothes, shoes, hats, and purses. Their website says they are supposed to give you 25% to 35% of what its worth. They only gave me $100. Which is 6.6%, not even 25% for brand new never been used name brand items with the tags still on them. And before you hand them your items, you sign a contract saying that you cant take back what they bought from you and you cant disagree about the price they offer you. HUGE RIP OFF. I am never comming back here again. I dont recommend anyone selling new nice clothes to them, its not worth it. I would have rather donated all those clothes and have the money go to the community, then be ripped off and have them sell it in their store for way more then what they gave me, only to have them make all of the profit.

This is an awesome store! Lots of gently used clothes and shoes. They have a wide range of clothes as well. For the most part, prices are pretty fair. They have lots sales and thats when you can score the best prices and items in my opinion.

They stayed open late for us to find the perfect outfit last minute! They were super helpful and the prices were more than fair. Would 10/10 visit again and recommend!

I’m from Houston & come to IF to visit family yearly. I always make it a point to come here at least once during my visit because I never fail to find the best deals. The staff is always super nice, and the store is always clean!

This place is my daughter’s and I new favorite place, they have so many brand name clothes at half of the cost and let’s get this straight this is no DI it smells good, people there are Super friendly!! We found this as a mistake best mistake ever!! I will continue to shop here and would recommend it to any mom or dad trying to help your kid find something cool:)

They have a great stock of cute, lightly used (or even new sometimes) clothes, shoes, purses, etc. I love that I can get some store credit for clothes I don’t use and use that to leave with something I love! The staff is always helpful/ sweet too. Definitely check it out.

This business and its employees do not care about public health—none of their workers were in masks or respecting distance. Their donation policy is sketchy, you cannot deny their offer once you hand your items over. Go elsewhere.

I have been a frequent costumer at Uptown Cheapstake and have sold to them multiple times. I always bring in items that are in style and never before worn with tags and stickers still on them. When I first started selling clothes here I thought I was getting back my money’s worth because I was getting fairly good money in return for the quality of clothes I was bringing. Lately I’ve noticed that they have been giving me less and less money for what I bring in no matter how great the quality is. They have made me feel like I’m an annoying customer for coming in so frequently and perhaps if they stopped paying me more that I would go away. So, I recently sold them two brand new American Eagle jeans with tags and stickers still attached to them. I really didn’t want to believe that they were ripping me off, but when they only offered me $15 for all of the items I brought in, I didn’t think it was fair. As I’ve walked around the store and found items that I had previously sold, I saw they they were re-selling my clothes for way more than I had gotten back. I do not recommend selling to Uptown Cheapskate and I will never sell my clothes to them again. I really trusted them and counted on their accountability, but now see that they are not truly honest people.

I went for the first time on Friday and I loved all the clothes I got! The staff was very nice and willing to help with anything. I love the set up of the store, especially the dressing rooms with not just one hook but three! and they even had cute sayings on them!! I definitely will continue to shop there!

Just got a steal of a deal on a nice winter jacket by Columbia! - $15 - The staff members are very nice, very helpful, and quite attractive. This was one of many great purchases that my extended family has made over the past 2 years.

Ive taken clothing here to sell a few times. The prices are the same I would get selling online on my own. Just minus the hassle by taking them here. They have great selection too. The staff is kind and helpful every time I go.

I have shopped at Uptown Cheapskate before in Utah, and love the idea of this type of thrift store but the prices can still be up in the same tier as regular retail stores, so sometimes its not worth it to purchase here.A few weeks ago, I donated some clothes and sold some clothes getting a profit of around $30 so that was really good, but the girls working that Saturday morning forgot to give me back my reusable bags and didnt tell me. I know I forgot them as well, but now that I think about it, they should have also been accountable to give me back my canvas bags that I used to bring in my clothes to sell and donate... So I went home and realized the next day that I left my canvas bags that I used to bring my clothes in, and since I dont live in Idaho Falls it is a trip to go back just to get my canvas bags but still I wish they reminded me about my bags. Those werent supposed to be part of the donation...

Got a cute top at a great price , but the customer service was severely lacking: unfriendly. The store was clean with a lot of name brand clothes plus 70% off most tags(!)I particularly disliked being told that “the system required” a phone number to make a purchase. Politely declined and was basically told without it the transaction couldn’t be processed.It really the had potential to be one of my favorites- I was just really disappointed with the way they treated most customers.

Went in there to sell clothes. She didn’t even check the clothes at all and said that because they were too worn or had stains they couldn’t buy them which oh by the way most of the clothes I took in were new only been worn maybe twice DID NOT HAVE STAINS AND THE ONLY STAIN SHE SAW WAS ON THE PANTS which fine don’t buy those but check the other clothe they were NEW! I will never take clothes back to them again or buy from them.

Ive tried to sell clothes here, most of which are brand new and they dont take them. I just went in to try and find some Jeans for me and the tag would say one size and the pants would be a completely different size. I ended up just leaving.

Oh I just adore this place! The owners, the fashion assistants, the awesome clothes & incredible prices.I never feel like I need to check the price tag before falling in love with an item. I always know I can find something I love.For example, I got a pair of brand new Tommy Hilfiger boots for less than $15! These would have been close to $100 anywhere else.Great value, great clothes & accessories & great experience!You gotta shop here!

I brought in 4 brand new super cute, never worn, expensive items (jeans, a shirt, boots and a pair of shoes.) to sell. I had to run and pick my son up from school so I could not stay in the store while they went through my items but came back within 20 minutes. They offered me $15...yes $15..for all 4 items!!!! I immediately tried to refuse that offer. (I had paid over $175 for all 4 of these clothing pieces.) They claimed I COULD NOT refuse their offer because I had left the store..that I couldnt have my items back..and I HAD to accept their offer of either $15 cash or a whopping $18 store credit . Talk about being JIPPED! They knew I had to take their offer so they low balled me because they knew I couldnt refuse and they could get away with it. Do not sell anything here. They are a joke.

The owner is an awesome person to chat with. The clothes here are way better than other similar stores. I like the high standards they have when buying. Ive never sold my clothing here but I frequently buy here.

I love the idea of this place, and they have super cute clothes! However, when I came in to sell clothes awhile back they only wanted to take 1 item for $2. I decided to take my clothes back and try to sell them at a different store in Utah, and they took many more items of clothing than this location. I was very disappointed with that because it felt like the girl going through my clothes was doing a rush job. There were many name brand items that were like-new that were rejected at this location. I just feel like your stores should be more consistent with each other on the clothes you take. 🤷🏼‍♀️

Do not come here to sell your clothes. I was astounded when she told me what they were taking and how much they were giving me for it. I brought in barely worn, some with tags still on it clothing and a pair of nice boots. The clothes were from Victoria’s Secret and American eagle. And they gave me a whopping $30. When I told her I didn’t want to take the deal, she said they couldn’t give me my clothes back because it had already been processed and it would take too long to undo. So it sounded to me like it was possible but she was too lazy to do it. Then when I was leaving she handed me one bag back, I told her I had two bags. She looked at me like I was lying and I pointed to my other bag. She handed it to me and it was unopened and untouched so I asked if they even looked in that bag. She assured me they did- but I don’t see how that is possible when it was unopened. I am incredibly frustrated and feeling totally ripped off. DO NOT COME HERE. Take your business elsewhere or sell online.

Definitely wont be coming to turn in clothes here again!! They dont take everything first off and second of all I feel like I got less than what he explained I would get to begin with. So they kept a brand new long cardigan, blazer, boots, brand new leggings (I mean Im talking brand new as in the tag is still on them) and I got a whopping $14. Not worth my time. Definitely worth just selling your clothes yourself over Facebook groups.

I went in just to sell my items, but I ended up buying more than I took in. Im not going to say they bought my items for amazing prices, but some of the items they bought from me i was able to replace item for item because they had a fantastic sale going. This is my new favorite store!!!

I have been here to sell twice and both times have just been amazing. The sales representatives were very kind and courteous.

The Google listing showed they are open on Sundays, so I drove 30 min to sell some clothes. I went in and apparently they don’t buy clothes on Sundays even though they’re open.... they could’ve posted that on the listing. I even looked at reviews before I went and I didn’t see a review mentioning that either.

Employees are surprisingly pretentious for a second hand clothing store. Sold name brand clothes there and totally got ripped off. Sold 9 items for $34... less than $4 an item. Don’t waste your time here. Just donate your clothes and feel good about it rather than getting ripped off.
