I searched high and low looking for an honest auto shop that didnt take advantage of the fact that I have no knowledge of cars and mechanics use this to their advantage. I called and said I dont know much about cars and mines used but newly bought and I went to 3 different places and explained my car was making a scraping noise when I turn and accelerate...I was told it need to be lubricated, it needed ball bearings, and one place just asked for my keys and I gave them and he drove off with my car and purse, I thought they were gonna pop the hood or drive it in but I looked on Google and saw the reviews. I called and they took me in and drove my car with PERMISSION and noticed the noise and I couldnt believe they took me in on such short notice! My car is smooth and no noises. The best part was while they were working on my car I walked to the bank and took out what other places told me it would cost and lets just say I have to deposit $500 back into my account because these guys are fair. If your a typical KAREN then do these guys a solid and move on because they definitely helped with no notice and saved me $$$ now I can drive without thinking my wheel is going to fall off. Not only did he take the time to explain what I needed and what I didnt, he offered the care and time as if it was his own car. They were very helpful. Called in the morning and they told me to bring my car in as soon as I could and they replaced my brakes the same day. They did their best to save my calipers and avoided an increase in the cost of the parts for me. They were super helpful, very quick, and I appreciate that they didn’t try to push another service on me. My car isn’t the greatest but they stuck to what I came there for. Highly recommend!

The team at this spot is great. This is my third time using them for two vehicles, and each time the repairs were completed fast and without hassle. There arent enough positive adjectives to describe how awesome this business is. I desperately needed tires. My car was unsafe to drive. I had seen the owner post about his business on Facebook. He was constantly helping people, and selling fantastic used cars. I walked in on an extremely busy Saturday afternoon. Yet, in an hour I had new tires, (which were a hard size to find,) and the price was incredible. It is obvious the owner and his staff go over and beyond for their customers needs. While I was there I saw him treat each customer the same way. I will be going back next week for my cars inspection and any needed repairs. If you are looking for a trustworthy and caring repair shop- this is definitely the one.

I originally went in with a slow leak for my tire, but mentioned that my check engine light was on (I had had an issue with this turning on for years, that may finally be fixed). They managed to fix a whole bunch of issues, my car no longer rattles for instance. I got better service than I could have imagined, and would totally recommend their services!

Came here with a broken A/C that had a myriad of difficulties associated with it; they promised me it would be done in a day but my A/C issues proved to be worse than expected. Long story short, it took longer than expected but they stayed over night to fix the issue and even through in a complimentary oil change out of good faith. My 2000 impala needed some work. Brake and fuel lines and some other things. I drove all the way out from Brooklyn to drop it off on a Monday noon. I got a call Wednesday saying at was ready. I was expecting it by friday so they work really quick! I was expecting to pay much more than I did so I was shocked (happy) when I saw the bill. My car drives great and I am a happy customer. I will be returning if I need other work.

Great service! I dropped my car off Thursday night, and the car was finished with new brakes, roters, pads, tires and an oil change by mid day Friday! Jim was so helpful (: I am moving cross country and wanted to make sure the car was able to make the trip, and Jim assured me and made me feel secure that it was ready to go. Surprisingly, after seeking several estimates for a suspension problem that I was having with my car, I discovered NYS Discount Tire & Auto Repair. Their estimate was the most competitive of all my estimates. After checking their reviews online, I decided to bring my auto there for repair. I was certainly not disappointed as my expectations were exceeded in every category. First of all, they were able to get me in for an evaluation immediately , the parts arrived quite quickly and the repair was completed in less time than any of my previous estimates offered. Finished in a timely manner, for the price they quoted. Got us in right away and had vehicle returned in a few days for a full engine replacement. Wish I would have known about them sooner.
