Amazing service. Amazing quality of pool. Its so much fun to enjoy the pool with family and friends. WCI understand this!! They have make it a priority for fixing open getting setup my pool for multiple events including graduation parties and a wedding!! Super service and quality! I strongly recommend

Chad was extremely helpful from start to finish. We asked a lot of questions and unlike other companies we contacted, Chad with WCI Pools & Spa took the time to answer each and every one in a timely manner. We knew he was extremely busy as pool sales have skyrocketed with everything being shutdown or canceled, but he emailed us back in a timely manner and answered our questions in great detail. We are so grateful we chose WCI Pools & Spa for our pools needs.

When we finally decided to invest in a hot tub, we looked at multiple brands and a number of local stores. We visited WCI at both the Urbandale and Ames locations, and everyone was great to work with. Our sales representative, Ryan, did a fantastic job answering every question we had (which were MANY) and really made us feel comfortable about our decision. Chad delivered and set up the hot tub, which was done very efficiently. He patiently taught us how to test the water and adjust it with the chemicals that are provided with a new tub. Were very happy with the entire experience and look forward to many years of enjoyment with our Jacuzzi hot tub! Thanks, WCI - you did a great job for us!

Chad was very helpful with advice (brands to trust, brands to avoid, issues to be aware of) even when there was no money in it for the store. If thats the level of service they offer a random non-customer, it speaks very well to the level of service they offer to customers.

They dont do above ground pools.

Buying a good pool requires knowledgeable people. WCI in Ames has fantastic staff that treat you right. They answer the simplest of questions and offer suggestions to make the pool experience pleasant for an inexperienced owner. Wouldnt hesitate to purchase again with them but my pool will probably be around long after me! Highly recommend!

Bought a Spa at state fair only to be called two days later saying they were not going to honor the deal cause I was out of their area. I was very clear with salesman where I lived and he assured me they serviced the entire state. Now I have to take another day off of work so I can go back to the state fair to find a dealer that will stand behind a sale.UPDATE: The salesman who sold me the hot tube was from another store in Minneapolis. He called me a few days later and would honor this sale even though his store was two hundred miles further away than this store.

Ive had nothing but great service from WCI. Bought an above ground pool from their Urbandale store but have talked to the Ames store a couple of times when I had questions about water chemistry and theyve been great about fixing my screw ups every time!!! Thanks for everything WCI.

We had an in ground pool installed in 2013 and I would have to say pros and cons. The staff seems knowledgeable, friendly, and responsive but the reason the rating isnt better is our liner.During the 3rd season it began to fail and we were told that it had lost its elasticity probably due to the ph being too low. We were further told that the warranty really wasnt worth much and wouldnt cover this issue and that it was only cosmetic. Id have to agree that it was cosmetic until this year when it began to fall out from the wall as it has been getting progressively worse.My frustration is that we did have a ph problem along with a low chlorine issue with the pool during the 2nd season. I visited their office to have the water analyzed more than once that year and spoke with their staff about what to do. The focus was always on the ph and at one point I was told to add muriatic acid to unlock the chlorine. It was a constant battle as the chlorine was being eaten up which lowered the ph and never once did anyone on their staff stress that the ph could cause damage to the liner - it wasnt excessively low either which may be why nothing was said. Also, the crew that shut it down (from WCI) that 2nd season wasnt the normal crew and didnt do any water treatment so it sat all winter in an unknown state, most likely acidic.All in all, Ive been told that if I want a new liner, I can essentially just buy one - not what I expected this early in the pools life. I would have expected some support from WCI considering the situation rather than just being blown off.
