Good selection of products at reasonable prices. The man who at the checkout (Mark) was very personable with me and since there were no shoppers behind me, we had a chance to visit. I remember him from working at a store at our local mall and he remembered me shopping there. This man is truly an asset to our Target store!

Had an appointment with consumer cellular. No one helped us. Couldnt find any help so I called the store. Was told he was on his lunch break but should come back sometime. After nearly 15 minutes we decided to leave. Informed Target customer service of our decision.

I only needed 2 items this time and I was able to get right in and get right out. Theres always help around if needed (last visit) and the store is very clean and well organized.

I walked in and literally every employee I passed said hello. Maybe they always do that but I noticed it today. It just made me happy.

I was in town for a Nationals Dance Competition and stopped in to grab a few necessities. All the staff were so helpful!!! Especially an employee in the grocery area, Sonil! He was So Very helpful! I returned to this store at least 3 times during our stay in Ames and every time I was there, I would see him, Sonil, and he always seemed genuinely happy to see me and help me!! Granted, construction is going on, but the store was half empty. Hard to sell empty space. And mask are not being forced to wear in store anymore. No sales people to help guest find items through the new construction maze.

I have an online Target gift certificate that was given to me as - duh - a gift. When I tried to use it in the store a pop-yup appeared telling me I had to enter my account number and passcode. I DO NOT HAVE AN ACCOUNT OR PASSCODE and never have. I left without being able to use it.

Always friendly, fast service. The selection is great. The pick up service was simple to use and the employees were all friendly.

Placed an order went to get it and it said not available, got it to say processing again and they cancelled it. Very poor experience

Couldnt push a cart due to surgery but there were no electric carts that worked. Could not find any size 12 mo. boys pajamas the employees even looked and found none. Cant believe they had no bags of marbles.Really I found very little on my list which made for a very bad day of shopping for easter. So they tell me that if I come back in an hour they may have a cart I can use plus I have a oxygen tank u have to lug around. NOT A GOOD DAY AT TARGET.

150+ pound dog in a shopping cart; No leash, red service dog vest, or mask. Large dog and puppy in another cart were interacting with public extensively. I asked a manager about the situation, and he said he is not allowed to ask the dog owner if it is a service dog or not, refused to ask the customers to leave or put masks on the dogs, and dismissed me. Dogs were drooling all over carts, people and store. I’m never going back- MAJOR HEALTH HAZARD!

They did not salt or sand their parking lot today whatsoever it seems, as myself and three other customers I witnessed slip and fall in the parking lot. I fell into my vehicle’s door upon stepping out, damaging my door panel. I know I sound like a total Karen, but individuals in charge of anti-ice measures today (12/12/20) should be reprimanded. It’s a liability for the company. If you are a customer, be careful in the parking lot.

Produce section is really bad. Limited selection and often the produce itself is not good. I don’t recommend this store for groceries, but for other items it’s okay. Overall stock seems to be low.

Customer service--last night (3/9/2021) around 7:45 in the Ames, Iowa Target store, I had a wonderful customer service experience with Team Lead Haley and team member Abi. I had been to Target earlier in the day for a CVS first COVID vaccine and saw a coat on the clearance rack that I had been considering for my daughter. The coat was now 70% off, so I planned to buy it after my vaccination...but I ended up needing to rush to work. So I came back around 7:30 pm to buy one (There were 10 or 15 of them on the rack in the afternoon.). I was able to find out from a team member that those coats had been taken off the rack to be removed from the stores inventory. I asked a team member, Abi, to speak to someone in management and Team Lead Haley was there shortly. I explained that I had seen the coat earlier and would like to be able to purchase one. Team Lead Haley went to look into it and came back with a coat for me! Both Abi and Haley were extremely kind and helpful! I was so impressed! They made my night!

Lately my Target runs have been lacking. I am hardly ever acknowledged by employees when out shopping in department. Similarly, I went in yesterday to pick up an order at customer service and I stood there for at least 3 minutes while three employees talked by the door to the back (one was at the first register doing something). I was not acknowledged. Not told thank you for waiting, I will get someone to help you right away, nothing. I worked customer service for 3 years and would never dream of not saying something to a waiting customer. I felt very disappointed. I was also disappointed at how long it took to fulfill my pick up order (with one costume selling out, of course, and being cancelled). All of this on top of lots of bare shelves for Halloween made for a dismal experience.

My pick up orders have gotten messed up many times. If you are doing curbside I recommend a different location but if you are going inside it is not bad.

Target is great! I have never had a bad experience, no matter the location I am at. The employees are always extremely nice and the stores always are kept looking very nice.

Today was the 6th time I have left the house since March 13. I had to pick up some meds, so masked up and went to Target. I have severe apprehension with all-things related to quarantine. Today, however, I was lucky to get an amazing check-out person named Manny. He is exactly the kind of person Target need to model others after. He is very sweet, engaging, and funny. He truly made me feel more relaxed about my Target run. Please congratulate whoever is responsible for hiring him and thank Manny for outstanding customer service.

I don’t usually leave reviews. But I felt like I had to for this target. During pandemic, I really can tell which store is getting ahead of the game. The store is super clean as always. More importantly, they put customers health first and cleaned so frequent of the carts and counters between each shoppers. And also the associate I encountered whose name is manny and he went extra miles in helping me. Made me felt like so happy. I could give 10 stars if I could for the target.

Great clean store. Everyone is always willing to help you find something. They always seem to have what I need and want.

I like to do business with Target because they are a reputable company who donates money to schools in the area. They offer the discount red card that provides 5% off my total amount due. Most of the merchandise (other than womens clothing) is of good quality.

The tall guy wearing a flash t-shirt was awesome help today!! I was looking for a chair to lay out in the sun on. I couldn’t find what I was looking for. As I was leaving he stopped me as he managed to find the perfect chair for me! The other staff I spoke to while checking out were awesome as well. Great customer service!

First I had to check myself out , as there was only 1 lane open - and it was the Noon hour. Second, I had to wait 7-10 minutes in Customer Service to make a return. The Target employee was having trouble with a discount for a customer. She called help over twice. On the second time, he took over the client and then she helped those of us in line. Very disappointing in the declining customer service.

I was short on time this week for getting groceries. The fact that I couldnt order cold items, and even something as simple as bread for pick up will definitely deter me from using this service again. I still had to go into the store to get those items so it wasnt as convenient as I needed it to be.

Literally heard them all talking about watching my daughter and I— like we were thieves. WE SPENT $400 total tonight, and heard them talking about us all the way out the door. Very rude and hurtful. If I hadn’t of been paying when I literally realized that we were the ones they were talking about and realized that’s why we kept seeing the same folks circle us in the store, I would have told them to put everything back. At least I have some decency. I won’t be back here.

Despite it being extremely busy the day before christmas eve, the service was so fast and very friendly! Thankful for the pickup option!!

It was good, not great. The store was out of stock on Market Pantry Whipping Cream, which is common. it was one of the very items I went in to buy.

The staff is also helpful when i ask them questions. The staff is very friendly.

Got stuck in this Target for fifteen minutes for a tornado warning. We all had to gather at the back of the store. The employees brought us all Capri Suns, Rice Krispie Treats, bottles of water, bags of chips and then let us use some hand sanitzer before we were free. Yum, would get stuck again there.

I love Target like most people and usually spend 2 hours in here at a time, but today my visit was especially more pleasant than usual! I was buying a lot of stuff for my new home and I came to Toms register with the mother load of items and my shopping cart was overflowing. Tom was very patient and even let me know about the Cartwheel app and guided me through scanning every single item to make sure I got all the sweet discounts! Even after the transaction he noticed an item was charged twice and let me know right away and guided me to the guest services to have it corrected. Tom deserves a raise. You go, Tom!!

I can spend hours there, just looking, as well as finding things I didnt know I needed! My last visit I happened to need something carried to the checkout. I found a guy stocking shelves and told him what I needed. He immediately stopped what he was doing, and with a big smile, hurried off to get my item. There was no hesitation, no trying to find someone else to do it, no grumpy demeanor because I was interrupting his work, just immediate help. Great job!

I shop here all the time and spend probably hundreds of dollars a month on my family and so I see what goes on. The staff seems to be increasingly rude and dismissive. Last night a team member was openly rude to my husband and I when we asked a question about a discount scheme. Like most places these days, the staff is in great need of service training. Unfortunately, I will still need to shop here often.

Earlier this week, the rear window of my car was shattered by a rock thrown at it in the Target parking lot. I spoke with a member of the staff that had access to the security footage and, then, called the police. It turned out that nothing was caught on the video. There are no cameras in the parking lot and my car was hidden from cameras mounted on the store. In addition, the recorded video is not subject to zoom. The bottom line is that Target is protecting their store, but not the parking lot. To make things more frustrating, someone called the store to tell them they had witnessed a rock being thrown in the parking lot, but the staff member who took the call did not get a name or number so the police could follow-up. Target did not throw the rock, but they did nothing to help the police or me identify who did. For those who care, it turns out that Kohls has an excellent video security system with high resolution and zoom capabilities. Thats where I will shop in the future.

Lived in Ames for 5 years, and this target was always my 1st choice for shopping. Had a recent experience with Tia and Danielle in customer service, who were so helpful and understanding. Their customer service and that of Target solidifies the reason why Target is such a great place to shop. Will always be a return customer!

I dont go to Target often, but when I do its always a wonderful experience! Most recently I went there to purchase a TV. Unfortunately the one I really wanted didnt have a price on it and there werent any others of that type for sale that we could see. That was okay though because the amazing staff in the electronics department searched and searched for it. They even took the TV off the wall and offered to sell us the display one if they couldnt find the price. They went into the back and searched and searched until they finally found the one we wanted and even gave us a discount on it for our troubles. We got $100 off! Then the staff continue to be wonderful and even loaded it into our car for us. I love this target and would go back to it purely for the amazing stuff alone!

Love using my red card and cartwheel to get the best deals. Great place to stock up on diapers and dog food when there is a gift card deal.

They stock my wifes third favorite Kombucha for reasonable prices. They used to have something called Clever food scrambles that was pretty good. The employees have always been very helpful.All in all, theyre a Target, and a slightly better than average example of the brand.

Whenever Ive needed help finding something, theres always an employee right where i need them, and theyre always super helpful! The only thing that would make this Target better is if it were a Super Target!

CVS pharmacy is on top of things all the time. The stores up and up brand is high quality at a good value price. Employees are friendly.

Management care about the guests and employees. This target is involved with supporting numerous local charities and other local organizations. Newly remodeled electronics and apparel areas are also nice.

At the self checkout one of the employees just started sticking their hands in my bags before letting me know it was to take hangers off of clothing. I didnt realize it and it felt very awkward. Whats more, I was told I could keep the hanger for my wire bra and another separate employee came over stuck their hands in my bag and took it off. Why dont the employees explain what they are doing so it doesnt come off weird and off-putting? I even started talking to the employee and they just turned and walked away. Like damn, make some eye contact.
